“Bo had an amazing time with Andrea and her family and dog!! He didn’t even look back when they picked him up - will continue to book with Andrea during future travels”

“Julie and her family were amazing for our dog, Queso, and our family. She helped us out on a last minute cancellation of our dog sitter and took care of Queso for a full week. Her family took her on walks, played with her, and welcomed her into their home! She updated us with messages and photos. We are very grateful and hope to use her in the future. Thank you so much!”

“We had an excellent experience with Kathy. This was our first time boarding our dog as well as our first time using Rover and Kathy did an excellent job communicating with us - taking the time to learn about our dog as well as thoroughly explaining her set up. She clearly has lots of experience with all kinds of dogs - we even learned some tips from her- AND most importantly our dog had a great time!! We loved the videos she sent also.”

“Leaving our dog with a sitter through Rover for the first time was very nerve wracking but Joshua reassured us from the meet and greet to the very end of our vacation. He sent us updates everyday and communication was top tier. I would book with Joshua again. Highly recommend!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Krystyna & Sara G. were absolutely amazing with my mini Goldendoodle, Hazel! From the moment I dropped her off, I knew she was in caring and capable hands. They provided excellent communication throughout her stay, including updates and photos that gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Hazel came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious that Krystyna and Sara treated her like part of their family, giving her plenty of attention, affection, and care. They went above and beyond to make sure all of her needs were met and that she felt comfortable and loved. I would highly recommend Krystyna & Sara G. to anyone looking for trustworthy, responsible, and compassionate pet sitters. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of Hazel—I will definitely be booking with you again! 🐾❤️”

“Mercis was so great with Connor for the two weeks he was with her. She even went above and beyond and helped with some behavior training too! I’d definitely put Mercis at the top of my list for future boarding stays.”

“Fabulous!!!! Kate has been awesome these past few days with our sweet little guy Otto! She was very attentive to him since he is going blind due to a tumor. She gave him many snuggles, walks, and kept us up to date on what he was doing each day, many times! Really appreciated Kate and highly recommend her!!!!”
About: We provide a calm, loving, and personalized environment for one household at a time. Our home is currently pet free, which allows us to give each dog our full attention in a peaceful and low stress setting. Since there are usually two adults at home and one of us works a hybrid schedule, there is almost always someone home to provide companionship, supervision, affection, playtime, and frequent potty breaks throughout the day. Dogs have always been an important part of our lives, and caring for them is something we genuinely love and enjoy. We understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe, comfortable, and emotionally secure when away from their family. Having experienced life with our own beloved dog through every stage of life, including senior care and medical needs, we understand how important patience, routine, comfort, and trust truly are. We have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and we truly enjoy spending quality time with them through play, affection, walks, and companionship. Because we only host one family at a time, we are able to create a more relaxed and personalized experience where dogs can receive individual attention and feel more at home. We also value communication and know how reassuring updates can be while away from your pet, so we always strive to provide regular updates, photos, and attentive care throughout each stay. We highly value meet and greets beforehand to help ensure that our home is the right fit and that each dog feels comfortable, safe, and welcomed. We are happy to communicate in either English or Spanish to help families feel as comfortable as possible. Pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine since our schedules allow for someone to usually be home throughout the day. This allows us to provide frequent supervision, companionship, potty breaks, playtime, affection, and consistent attention during each stay. We enjoy maintaining a calm and structured environment where dogs can feel comfortable, relaxed, and part of the family. We understand that every dog has different routines, personalities, and comfort levels, so we do our best to help them feel safe, settled, and emotionally comfortable while away from home. Because we only host one household at a time, we are able to dedicate more individualized care, quality time, attention, and companionship to each dog throughout the day. Safety, supervision, and communication are very important to us. We are very mindful of each dog’s routine, comfort level, feeding schedule, potty schedule, exercise needs, and any instructions provided by their family. We understand that every dog adjusts differently to new environments, so we always try to create a positive and comfortable transition while respecting their personality, boundaries, and pace. We also value consistency and communication, and we make sure pet parents receive regular updates and photos throughout each stay so they can feel reassured while away. Before confirming a booking, we highly value meet and greets to help ensure that our home is the right fit and that everyone feels comfortable, safe, and confident moving forward.
“Jude was amazing with our little Minnie. He met and welcomed her in the driveway and he allowed her time to get adjusted to her new environment. Minnie spent 3 nights at Jude which we were very nervous about as we have never did in home boarding. Jude provided updates and pictures throughout her stay. Jude has an amazing home and large yard. He is nurturing and caring to all of Minnie”s needs. I highly recommend him for an overnight/boarding stay. Tracy”

About: I’m a newly retired teacher and former principal that loves my doggies! Over the years, I’ve had so much love from my very special friends. Would love to give and get some loves from your treasured family member. I literally live in the middle of Stratham Hill Park and I love to walk. Only one “little guy” at a time…🥰 I’m loving my retirement and have lots of time and love to give. I have some scheduled exercise classes in the mornings but always home by 10:30. I’ve had so many dogs over the years. Routine visits to the vet are mandatory and walking, playing, and interacting with my friends are essential. I’m also very familiar with dogs with anxiety. One needs to approach this in a calm and careful way and watch the signs for anxiety coming on and be able to respond with love and kindness. Living right in the middle of Stratham Hill Park, I have easy access to the walking trails. Because I don’t know your dog, they will never be off leash but will be outside often during the day!! I love to walk. 🥰 I have a lovely crate IF your dog prefers this quiet space, but I will not be crating unless you ask me to. Typically my 11 year old grandson will come by after school to snuggle, play and go for a walk with me and your pup!
“Michael was very communicative the whole time, and our Caju had a great time at his house! He was well taken care of and came back happy and tired :) I’ll definitely do it again when needed!”

“Sylvia is a true dog whisperer .. made my Bessa feel right at home. Has a very calming presence. Kept me updated wirh pics and texts. Great home and fenced in yard too. Will definitely be visiting again!”

“Rebecca was very communicative about my pup’s stay. She sent pictures and updates. It was clear my dog had a nice time and was well cared for. My dog is a little slow to warm up and anxious but she settled in well and enjoyed playing with the other dogs. My dog came home happy and healthy.”

“We absolutely love having Diamond and her sweet girls care for our pups. They are both so lovingly cared for the entire time. We receive multiple photos and check ins. She’s just the best!”

“Cookie had a one night overnight before a longer pet sitting. She had a wonderful time! Ariana and her whole family were very loving. I know Cookie will Be well taken care of for the next time.”

“It was wonderful experience with Julia. I did get multiple photos during my pet stay. I love the fact that she has 3 wonderful kids who lovee dogs and lucky for my dog they had a summer break. I would love to drop my dog with her again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - North Hampton
I used Laurie again to watch my dog Nolan, and just like last time, she was absolutely amazing. It’s such a relief knowing he’s in the hands of someone so loving and genuinely caring. Laurie has a true gift with animals—Nolan adores her, and it shows. She sent me thoughtful updates and photos throughout his stay, which always gives me peace of mind. Her home is calm and welcoming, and I know he feels safe there. I wouldn’t trust just anyone with my dog, but with Laurie, I never have to worry. She’s simply the best!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
