“Cecelia is the best of the best! We truly have never had such exceptional care, service, flexibility, and attention for Clover before. She truly is the best sitter we’ve ever had. Clover was staying the week while we were away for our wedding. She was so accommodating asking about her routine, if clover would like special treats, and so much more that went above and beyond. We were a little hard to reach during our wedding weekend but she kept up with the greatest updates so we knew clover was in good hands. I can’t stress how much clover loved Cecelia and we did too! We hope Clover gets to stay with her multiple times in the future. Thank you so much!”

About: I am a kind and caring person to all animals. I’ve housesat and taken care of neighbors dogs and cats when they were away. I have experience with heat-sensitive pets so I have experience gauging pets’ comfort level in relation to outside weather. I'm free mostly anytime, I’m extremely responsible and will take careful and loving care of all animals that I take care of through rover. I’ve always loved animals and rover is a great opportunity to earn money while having fun. Dogs would get my undivided attention during walks and other services. What sets me apart from other sitters and walkers is that I truly love animals and I have time to give them the care they need. Thank you for the consideration! I currently work remote so I am flexible in regards to when a pet needs care at any time. I also have availability on the weekends. I have ample space for pets to enjoy and run around. I live in a friendly neighborhood with minimal car traffic for walks. Open backyard as well.
About: I’m a newly retired teacher and former principal that loves my doggies! Over the years, I’ve had so much love from my very special friends. Would love to give and get some loves from your treasured family member. I literally live in the middle of Stratham Hill Park and I love to walk. Only one “little guy” at a time…🥰 I’m loving my retirement and have lots of time and love to give. I have some scheduled exercise classes in the mornings but always home by 10:30. I’ve had so many dogs over the years. Routine visits to the vet are mandatory and walking, playing, and interacting with my friends are essential. I’m also very familiar with dogs with anxiety. One needs to approach this in a calm and careful way and watch the signs for anxiety coming on and be able to respond with love and kindness. Living right in the middle of Stratham Hill Park, I have easy access to the walking trails. Because I don’t know your dog, they will never be off leash but will be outside often during the day!! I love to walk. 🥰 I have a lovely crate IF your dog prefers this quiet space, but I will not be crating unless you ask me to. Typically my 11 year old grandson will come by after school to snuggle, play and go for a walk with me and your pup!
“Juno had a great experience with Lorenzo while I was away . He is attentive , professional, experienced and communicated great with texts , pictures and videos . Juno will be back to play with Vito . I highly recommend him !”

“This is our 2nd time leaving Roxy with Jeanne. Jeanne is very good with dogs and Roxy has a great time with her. We love the text updates with pictures that Jeanne provides. We can tell Roxy has a great time and that helps us enjoy our time away that much more. We will continue to use Jeanne going forward.”

About: Hi, I’m Leah! Animals have been the center of my world for as long as I can remember, and I bring that same lifelong love and care into every visit, walk, or cuddle session. Whether it’s a long walk, playful games, feeding, or medication, I make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved—just like they do with you. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family, so I make communication and dependability my top priorities. You’ll always know how your pet is doing, and you can relax knowing they’re in capable, compassionate hands. Pet care isn’t my side gig—it’s my full-time passion. I’ve dedicated my schedule entirely to caring for animals, which means your pets get my full attention, flexibility, and consistency every time. Experience: I've been immersed in the world of pet care since I was young, starting at the tender age of 5 when my cat Spooky had a litter of kittens. Throughout my life, I've had the pleasure of caring for pets at every stage, fostering a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors.
“Gary M. was a wonderful dog caretaker! My dog needs extra care due to the many pills required to keep her healthy and happy, and Gary was very competent with this extra chore. When my dog was feeling "under the weather" at the end of her stay, he even made the effort to contact me after we returned home to see if she was doing better. Thank you, Gary!!!”
“We had a great experience with Michelle looking after our French Bulldog, Sunny. She did an excellent job and Sunny seemed happy and well-cared for when we returned. She was attentive, responsible, and made sure Sunny felt right at home. It's reassuring to know we have such a reliable sitter to trust. Highly recommended!”

“Beth was a great caregiver! I feel fortunate to have had a person who knew what my dog needed for exercise and care. Beth’s attitude was laid back and she had a great house and yard for my dog. Her dog was very laid back too.”

About: I have always had dogs growing up. I am currently studying Animal Science with a minor in public health, looking to go into Animal Welfare. I am an intern at the New Hampshire SPCA where I have been expanding my experience in animal handling and enrichment. I work Sunday-Thursday from 8-4 at the NHSPCA where I am an Animal Care Technician. I am available before or after work along with Friday’s and Saturday’s. I have a dog park at my apartment complex and I love taking dogs on long walks and working on their leash training. I handle all behaviors at the shelter, so I am able to modify my care accordingly.
About: I love to make sure your babies are happy, safe and comfortable so that you can enjoy your time away without worry! FaceTime, texts and consistent communication is what makes me your best choice! Former special educator, patience is my virtue! Weekday social worker, so I’m off on weekends routinely, which coincides with families wanting some getaway time. Occasionally available weeknights for walks and drop ins. Weekends are more flexible, and I’m usually available AM/PM or both. Looking to begin boarding in the Fall 2025 Primarily, I can come to your house for care. Occasionally, happily ready to provide care in my home for dogs on weekends. Walking trails and small yard. Other dogs are plentiful here, I will always keep your dog leashed at all times. I’m not against an occasional pup cup trip but have also respected gluten free diets as well.
About: I love all types of animals! I have a degree in Veterinary Technology and have worked in veterinary offices (regular as well as emergency), a wildlife center, and a pet shop (Pet Emporium on Woodbury Ave). While I now work from home for a software company, my love of pets remains. I work from home and have a very flexible work schedule. I can work from your house or just pop over for visits as needed. I carry my own professional pet-sitting insurance, which covers both your pet and your home while they're in my care. I understand everyone has their own way of doing things when it comes to their pets. Just let me know the preferences and routine, and we can keep things as regular as possible while you are not able to be there. Please note: My Constant Care rate is $250 per day. Care is considered “Constant Care” if the pet(s) cannot be left alone for up to 4 hours at a time.
Newington pet parents share their Rover experiences
Colleen is an amazing person!! I was so nervous leaving my precious pug but as soon as I met her I calmed down and instantly knew he was in the best hands. Colleen let me have updates and pictures. I dont think my Bodie wanted to leave. He had such a great time with his new friends. I will definitely book with Colleen again when we are in the area. If I could leave 10 stars I would!

Mary was amazing with my little chihuahua, Noodle! I’ve never left Noodle for more than a few days, so this 2 1/2 weeks was stressful. Mary’s pictures and messages every day reassured me and I could see all the adventures he was having. Thank you, Mary, for taking such good care of my good boy!
