“Juno had a great experience with Lorenzo while I was away . He is attentive , professional, experienced and communicated great with texts , pictures and videos . Juno will be back to play with Vito . I highly recommend him !”

“Jeanne offers a pleasant, safe environment - both inside and outside at her rural Wells home. She exudes confidence with dogs and quickly judges their character, individual needs and compatibility with other canine guests. Her experience with horses reinforces a practical, easy approach to animal care. Our Welsh Terrier loved staying with Jeanne and plans to visit again.”

“I can’t even really begin to say how wonderful Nicole was in watching our King Charles cavalier puppy. He is still a puppy and can be very attention seeking. And Harley was so happy and content spending time with Nicole in her wonderfully dog friendly home. We had a weekend away for medical reasons of a family member and the photos and videos of Harley were incredibly reassuring so we could be attentive to our family member while knowing our puppy was well taken care of. He didn’t want to leave. We owe many thanks to Nicole for taking Harley in and treating him like one of her own. I couldn’t recommend her more highly. She’s the best! ❤️.”

“Evan was fantastic once again! Flexible with care and pick ups, very responsive and sent pictures with updates everyday!! Charlie is one tired pup after his vacation to Evan’s!! Highly recommend for your pup”

“Felicia was absolutely amazing with Bella! She welcomed her into her home with so much care and love. Bella can be shy, but Felicia made her feel comfortable right away. I really appreciated how professional she was and how often she sent me updates and pictures—it gave me so much peace of mind knowing Bella was happy and safe. I could tell Bella was well taken care of and treated like family. I highly recommend Felicia to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and professional sitter.”

“My dog Ozzy loved it! Gary was a great sitter and has a backyard built for dogs. We call it “Camp Gary” because it looks like a summer camp for dogs. Gary will send daily pictures and updates, which I appreciated.”

“Caroline did a wonderful job caring for our Boone! She sent pictures and kept us up to date with activities they were doing. Would absolutely recommend and use her again to watch Boone.”

About: I love to make sure your babies are happy, safe and comfortable so that you can enjoy your time away without worry. I’m a teacher/social worker by trade, so I’m patient, kind and caring. Special needs or requests are not an issue. My consistent communication and caring for your pets as my own is what makes me your best choice! I’m a social worker, so I’m off on weekends routinely, which coincides with families wanting time away. Occasionally available weeknights for walks or drop ins. Weekends are more flexible, and I’m usually more available. I generally prefer boarding in my home and my routine is planned around your babies. Their needs are my priority! Happy to provide care in my home for dogs on weekends. Walking trails and small yard. Other dogs are plentiful here, but-I will always keep your dog leashed at all times. I’m not against an occasional pup cup trip but have also respected meat-based, gluten free and hypoallergenic diets as well. Only one dog (family) at a time.
“We were in a pinch & had to leave our cat Sam to stay overnight while we went out of town for a funeral & Beth really helped us out last minute! Affordable price, & she sent lots of updates! When I picked up my sweet boy he was very happy. 10/10 recommend Beth!!”

“Noreen is the absolute best! She took such great care of our large dog while we were away, sending pictures and updates which kept the family happy while we missed our boy. Not only was she incredibly great to our boy and us and a great communicator, but she also showed great patience for me and was incredibly flexible. We were so lucky to have found her!”

“Cecilia was awesome. I was able to book on super short notice and she took such good care of my boy with lots of activities, a bath, and photos for me! Highly recommend!”

“Kristin saved us with a last minute booking! She and her family are so sweet. They sent us updates and pictures while we were away and even let us extend Tater’s stay by several days. We highly recommend Kristin and James!”

“Sandra provided excellent service and care for my dog. My dog was having seizures and I didn't know. Sandra contacted me and did all the right things. She is very caring and helpful.”
“Sammi was the best! She took great care of our dog Nova! She was always on time for his walks and took time to get in a little playtime. She was always on time and sent great pictures! I wish she wasn’t moving!”

“Denise was amazing! So incredibly great with my dogs. One of my dogs is just a nervous dog when she meets new people and she was so great with her. I was very scared leaving my babies for the first time and Denise made everything go smooth. Such a nice person! Cant say enough about how kind and caring she is. Thank you Denise!❤️”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
