Availability
I recently left the corporate world, and couldn’t think of anything more rewarding than spending time with my fur babies, and helping other fur parents take care of their little loves. I’m home all week, with exceptions for weekly tasks (ie grocery shopping).

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in portion of the yard that I use specifically for my dogs, there is an entrance to the fenced in yard from the house so there is no unsafe transition to get them from the house to the yard where they could pull or run away. My dogs are allowed on furniture and on my bed, but I also have several dog crates available if a visitor prefers sleeping alone. I have 2 male cats, who act more like dogs. They snuggle with my dogs and get along great with all puppies and small dogs who visit! On rainy days when outside play is hard, I like to take our dogs to the Foxrun mall, where they allow dogs on leashes! It’s a great way to socialize them and get some exercise. I only take one animal per trip, so most of the time this requires multiple trips, but everyone is always so happy and tuckered out afterwards!

Please let me know if dogs have any medical needs or if there are any triggers that would need to be accounted for (ie gets toy or food aggressive around other dogs).
A typical day
I love playing in the backyard with my dogs, whether it’s playing fetch or a really pathetic game of tag (the just after me)! I love walks in downtown Dover and on rainy days I go for walks at the Foxrun mall! Slow walks that allow them to sniff new territory is excellent for stimulating dogs mentally and physically!

Pet care experience
I grew up in a house that always had multiple dogs and multiple cats, and couldn’t imagine living any other way! I have 3 dogs and 2 cats, who I consider my children (no human children). All my love is poured into my fur babies, and while they are needy and have 0 concept of personal space, they love hard and are incredibly welcoming to all our visitors, human and fur alike! I foster puppies and small dogs through Pope Memorial animal shelter in Dover, so I have a lot of experience with bathroom training and crate training if needed.

Reviews
Everything went well on Taper's first visit w/ Colleen. Her frequent photos and updates were very reassuring.

Colleen is amazing! Will use her again for sure! She’s incredible with her communication and truly loved on our doggies while they were under her care! Thank you!

After our move from Oregon we had to search for a great dog sitter for our sensitive dog Milo. Big and loud facilities were not an option. We are very happy that we found Colleen 👍 Milo had a great time, he lived in the middle of Colleens Family and he enjoyed every second of playing and exploring the garden with his new furry friends. Colleen was great and very understanding. Contact was great and we knew every time how Milo is doing. We will definetly come back and highly recommend her great place.

Colleen was amazing, super sweet and kind woman! Maya loved it at hers with all the snuggles which was so lovely. Her doggies are so friendly and welcoming to my little pup. Will recommend Colleen to anyone such a great person! Thank you
