âMike and Linda took amazing care of our dog, Sunny!! She played in the yard, went on walks, and snuggled right up on the couch. We do not go away often so this experience was new to Sunny but they made her feel like she was at home. We are so grateful and will certainly request Mike again!!â

âCaroline and Gerry took wonderful care of Coda. They were friendly and thoughtful and very willing to help when my original flight was cancelled. It was great to have peace of mind that he was in such great hands.â

âDenise was great! She sent me lots of photos and videos of my dog, and he was clearly well cared for and enjoying himself. She has two sweet dogs herself and it was a wonderful environment.â

About: Iâm a newly retired teacher and former principal that loves my doggies! Over the years, Iâve had so much love from my very special friends. Would love to give and get some loves from your treasured family member. I literally live in the middle of Stratham Hill Park and I love to walk. Only one âlittle guyâ at a timeâŚđĽ° Iâm loving my retirement and have lots of time and love to give. I have some scheduled exercise classes in the mornings but always home by 10:30. Iâve had so many dogs over the years. Routine visits to the vet are mandatory and walking, playing, and interacting with my friends are essential. Iâm also very familiar with dogs with anxiety. One needs to approach this in a calm and careful way and watch the signs for anxiety coming on and be able to respond with love and kindness. Living right in the middle of Stratham Hill Park, I have easy access to the walking trails. Because I donât know your dog, they will never be off leash but will be outside often during the day!! I love to walk. 𼰠I have a lovely crate IF your dog prefers this quiet space, but I will not be crating unless you ask me to. Typically my 11 year old grandson will come by after school to snuggle, play and go for a walk with me and your pup!

âThis was our first time leaving our dog with Bob. And it was the first time that our dog did not look stressed when I dropped her off and left! I was amazed. Maisie just seemed to know that he was caring and confident and she was in good hands. I think she very much liked playing with his own dogs since she is the only dog in our home. Bob clearly loves animals and was also sensitive to Maisie's needs. Maisie is a lap dog and Bob and his wife allowed her to snuggle up to them for reassurance. Bob is a personable individual and easy to talk. I would highly recommend him to anyone!â

âKatie, is fantastic I receive updates and photos of my animals through out the time I was away. Plus she always, speaks with me regarding how they did while there. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to feel secure in the person watching their babies. PS Daisy and Boy love Katieâ

ââââââ Krystyna & Sara G. were absolutely amazing with my mini Goldendoodle, Hazel! From the moment I dropped her off, I knew she was in caring and capable hands. They provided excellent communication throughout her stay, including updates and photos that gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Hazel came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious that Krystyna and Sara treated her like part of their family, giving her plenty of attention, affection, and care. They went above and beyond to make sure all of her needs were met and that she felt comfortable and loved. I would highly recommend Krystyna & Sara G. to anyone looking for trustworthy, responsible, and compassionate pet sitters. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of HazelâI will definitely be booking with you again! đžâ¤ď¸â

âDiamond took such great care of our dog Maple! He's sometimes a little anxious but he was completely at home there. Diamond sent frequent photo updates and even took him to work with her. We'll definitely be dropping him off here again the next time we go away.â

âMichelle did a great job with Maya! Lots of pictures and updates and my pup came home so tired from all the playing that she slept the entire afternoon/night. Thanks, Michelle!â

âRebecca was personable and gave updates during our pupâs stay. Rebecca engaged our pup with socialization and training reinforcement. Our pup seemed to have enjoyed her stay and came back safe and sound.â

âI'm delighted to share my experience with Mercis, who truly went above and beyond to ensure Sherlock felt at home. From multiple walks, playtime, and genuine care made all the difference. Thanks to the extraordinary effort and exceptional care⌠our dog returned happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. Highly recommend!â

âI can tell that my dog, Drake, loves going to Jackieâs house. He never hesitates to go with her. Jackie knows how to introduce new dogs to the environment and the pack. She sends many videos and updates so we always know that Drake is happy and having fun. She is flexible when it comes to drop-off and pick-up times and does her best to accommodate your particular schedule. We will continue to send Drake with Jackie whenever he e need a sitter.â

âVery helpful with a last minute booking and was super quick to respond. Sent pictures throughout Harleyâs stay at his home, and she was very happy and comfortable with him!â

About: I have had 2 dogs for the last 6 years although one recently passed and have helped out with dogs since I was 16. Not great with cats but could watch it needed. I can administer medication as well as I had to for my dog. Monday and Friday I can use my lunch break for a visit, middle of the week days , I am available after 3, weekends are wide open I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space and our dog cannoli is very very friendly and will love to have a friend. She is up to date with all vaccinations.
âDonnie was great with our dog, Kira! She usually gets nervous going/staying at new places as she is a little bit older, but she was comfortable and took to Donnie great. Drop off was easy and smooth, as well as pick up. Super impressed with the flexibility, last minute changes and him open to doing a âtrail runâ with us to make sure everything would go ok. His training skills were amazing and taught us a few tricks, which was super kind! Would definitely recommend him to watch your pup!â

âLindsay is very welcoming and kind. She is experienced caring for dogs and even fosters dogs who need temporary homes. She sent updates and pictures, and our dog returned home happy and healthy after a week in her care.â

âJuno had a great experience with Lorenzo while I was away . He is attentive , professional, experienced and communicated great with texts , pictures and videos . Juno will be back to play with Vito . I highly recommend him !â

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Roverâs reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
