About: I'm currently a Pre-Veterinary student at University of New Hampshire and currently work at a local veterinary clinic. As a veterinary assistant I have gained experience with animal handling and care. I am also Fear Free Certified and know had to adequately prevent fear, anxiety, and stress in both cats and dogs. I have previously worked at a training facility and am familiar with certain signals and behaviors that animals demonstrate to express themselves. I have owned cats and dogs my entire life and have been exposed to many types of breeds, species, and seen interesting cases regarding animal health. When I'm not at school I take care of my two dogs and cats at home. Furthermore, I work part-time at a veterinary clinic at school and at home so I am constantly surrounded by animals and have exposure to many cases. I previously owned a diabetic cat and learned how to administer insulin shots and monitor her glucose levels multiple times a day. I feed and water my animals in my home at least twice a day, snacks are often provided as well. I walk my dogs as much as necessary (typically twice a day). I always play with my cats and dogs. I have a kitten who loves playing fetch with toy mice and a 5 year old dog who enjoys hiking trips and swimming. The two dogs get groomed when needed but I brush them consistently in between grooms. Finally, I am responsible when it comes to my animals' health and notice any changes in behavior or appearance almost immediately. I find it important to keep them up to date with vaccines and any other medications they need.
About: I combine patience, experience, and genuine affection for pets of all kinds. I like to get outside and stay active by walking and running dogs, and I make sure to spend quality time giving pets the attention and love they deserve. It’s something I enjoy and look forward to fitting into my days. I prioritize safety and comfort above all when caring for pets. Whether I’m visiting your home or welcoming pets into mine, I will make sure the environment is clean, secure, and pet-friendly. I will also follow any specific instructions you provide and keep a close eye on your pet’s behavior to ensure they’re happy and safe at all times. Building trust with both pets and owners is important to me, so I communicate openly and am responsive to any needs or concerns.

“Kassidy was so solicitous of us & our kitty…first time with a sitter since we moved. Kitty had some litter box issues & Kassidy took them in stride. We were also adjusting to new food supplement which she handled wonderfully! The apartment was left in pristine condition! Hopefully Clemmie will be more hospitable during Kassidy’s next visit!”
