“I've known Marion Hess for almost two years. She is a dog lover! When Marion offered her availability to take care of dogs when she was home from college on breaks, on our town's local facebook page. I contacted her, and she started walking our black lab mix rescue dog Chloe. She not only walks Chloe, she plays with her and takes her on walks on our town's trails. Chloe is always ecstatic to see her and runs to Marion's car to jump in. About: Besides having a grandmother that bred and raised dachshunds, my most recent job was at an emergency vet, where I was the customer service representative in charge of greeting all pets and owners - from internal medicine to surgery to emergency walk ins. Seeing all types of cases for over 2 years opened my eyes to the varying needs of our furry friends and it was not uncommon for me to communicate to owners of pets in the ICU with pictures and updates to help ease their anxieties and worries. Currently I am focusing on being a great dad to my 6 year old daughter and 10 year old dachshund as I explore other career options. Apart from school drop off and pick up times, I can be extremely flexible in meeting your pet care needs I have a fenced in yard and a wonderful 10 year old wirehair dachshund that is friendly and well-behaved. If crating is preferred or needed, please specify and we can work something out. I am still close to many of my coworkers at the emergency animal hospital should the need ever arise.

We came to know each other when I had a horse under his care in one of the nation’s elite equine facilities, where he previously trained the world’s top athletes, both human and horse. When my beloved horse fell ill, Owen’s patience, attention, and love carried us both through unimaginable times. It was through those trying times a true friendship blossomed, and I got to see Owen’s love of animals outside just the equestrian world. He is the most incredible father to his beloved pig, Eloise, and a present “godfather” to all of my own animals.
