About: I have had my dog for over 9 years. She is very good with others. I have a fenced in backyard, and a doggy door of the screened porch. When we are home during the day in good temperatures, the door to the house will be open giving dogs the freedom of where they want to relax or play. I am currently a stay at home Mom to my wonderful twins therefore I have a pretty flexible schedule I can work around, especially if it avoids the kids naps. I have a fenced in backyard that is connected to the house via a screened in porch so there are many options of where to hang out. At night everyone is inside.

About: Dogs have been apart of my life since day one, they are seriously the best companions. I have trained a few dogs, including my own lab who I got at 7 months as well as cared for senior dogs such as my childhood pup who got up to 14! Im free at some point and time every day! I can check up on dogs, take them for walks and have dogs stay with me overnight any day of the week. I care for pets just how they need to be cared for. I love clear communication with owners so I can completely understand the doggos needs and care for them best. I will update owners all throughout the time I am watching their furry friend.

“Laurie was wonderful! We booked her for a few days worth of drop-in visits with our 1 year old dog Luna (40-lb border collie mix). We've only had Luna for 4 months (rescue) and she is incredibly timid and loud around strangers in the house. We were worried going into the weekend that we might even have to cancel our trip because Luna has been unmanageable by just about everyone we've tried to get to walk her. And even with us, on walks she is easily distracted and will try to chase everything from squirrels to grasshoppers. It can be a challenge for non-family to even get close enough to get a leash on her. Laurie was so kind and patient with Luna, and spent so much time with her to gain her trust. She proved fully capable of leashing Luna and bringing her on long walks. We will definitely be booking Laurie again! (provided she would be willing!)”

About: Kristine and Eric have loved and had animals our entire life. I have always helped care for pets, even as a child. Eric was raised on a farm, caring for many different kinds of animals- waking up before dawn to ensure that all animals were properly cared for and had what they needed for the day whether it be rain, shine, snow, sleet, hot, or cold. We, together, have two dogs. They are both around 10 years old and are rescues. We also have 6 chickens. Our home has a door from the downstairs to the upstairs. When dogs are home during the day and if left alone for 1 hour or so they stay downstairs with access to water, comfy couches, and dog bed areas. When we are home they have free run of the home. We also have a crate for dogs that may need a private, safe space. We have a back yard that our dog enjoys playing in, but just so you know it is not fenced in, therefore dogs remain leashed when in the back yard. We do have a deck that is closed off in the backyard where dogs can be left unleashed to hang out, but always supervised when out there. We also have a 15 year old daughter who loves animals. She assists with the care of our dogs and we have fostered a few dogs in the past from various shelters and she is always eager to assist with making these dogs feel comfortable and give them love. She volunteers at a local animal shelter with small mammals and takes care of the chickens I work full time during the school year for a school district. Eric works from home. Eric takes dogs for a number of walks per day including walks to the local dog park (Rogers Park) and to local beaches for exercise and socialization. I am home by 3:30 pm and bring my dogs (and other dogs) for exercise either running, hiking, or walking. In the summer I am mostly around. I also grew up with cats and with both have experience with cats and providing meds to cats, including insulin shots. I work full time and Eric works part to full time but we can walk dogs in the evening and walk dogs throughout the day on the weekends. I have summers off as I work in a school. I will not be offering care in my home, but am excited to take care of your pet and walk your dog and take your dog on adventures.

About: Without exception, the dog park is always one of the best parts of my day. I've had three dogs of my own, and have been around countless other dogs, most of whom instantly become my new best friends. We just gravitate to each other, hence the fuzzy friend whisperer nickname. I have a playful, loving attitude toward every dog I meet. I am also sensitive to dogs who need a little more patience and space to ease into trusting me and respect the boundaries that they need to do that. My training style with my own dogs is focused on positive reinforcement rather than punishment. This approach translates to other dogs as well, unless their owners request differently. Your dog will be in caring, responsible hands with me. They will be loved. Vogel Emergency Vet just opened right across the street from our house, so if anything kind of emergency pops up, your baby will be a hop, skip and a jump away from the care they need. I'm self employed and work mostly from home so my schedule is quite flexible. Sometimes I’ll have drop in visits throughout the day, but if your dog is boarding with me, there will generally be someone else at home with them. They’ll rarely, if ever be left alone. I live on a small farm but also live near a road, so your dog will always be safely on a leash when we go outside for potty breaks. I have a very friendly 12 year old 45lb labradoodle named Huck to keep your baby company in the rare cases that I'm not at home. I have a "squirrel observatory" (bird feeder) right near my workspace so your dog will not only be supervised most of the time but also entertained.
About: I’m a newly retired teacher and former principal that loves my doggies! Over the years, I’ve had so much love from my very special friends. Would love to give and get some loves from your treasured family member. I literally live in the middle of Stratham Hill Park and I love to walk. Only one “little guy” at a time…🥰 I’m loving my retirement and have lots of time and love to give. I have some scheduled exercise classes in the mornings but always home by 10:30. I’ve had so many dogs over the years. Routine visits to the vet are mandatory and walking, playing, and interacting with my friends are essential. I’m also very familiar with dogs with anxiety. One needs to approach this in a calm and careful way and watch the signs for anxiety coming on and be able to respond with love and kindness. Living right in the middle of Stratham Hill Park, I have easy access to the walking trails. Because I don’t know your dog, they will never be off leash but will be outside often during the day!! I love to walk. 🥰 I have a lovely crate IF your dog prefers this quiet space, but I will not be crating unless you ask me to. Typically my 11 year old grandson will come by after school to snuggle, play and go for a walk with me and your pup!

About: For pretty much most of my entire life I’ve had a dog. I gave them all the love I had and they did the same right back at me. Currently we own a beautiful 4yr old Golden named Sammy. He is gentile playful loving and silly. When a dog walks into our home it takes about 30 seconds and just like that Sammys got a new best friend. My business is in insurance sales which has me doing most of my work from home. This allows me to take great care of my dog Sammy and any of his friends. About: Growing up, we always had a dog or two and cats in the house. Each one, a member of the family that are loved and spoiled. I now have a year and a half old English chocolate lab named Errol and two cats, Pepper and Chester who are 12 and 6 years old. I have two teenage daughters, and my youngest works for a dog training and daycare taking care of dogs. Our family loves our pets and I and am excited to share that love with yours! I work full time from home 8:30 am-5:00 pm. I have limited time mid day that I use to do drop-in visits and short walks, and am otherwise available before or after my shift. The first couple days was just once a day, but she was still having problems being crazy in her cage all day (until 4pm.) So I called Andrew and asked to up the walks to twice a day, and he was EXTREMELY helpful! It was a life saver! About: I have recently lost my 14.5 year old husky who enjoyed walks every day and all the Rover dogs that stayed with us in the past with Rover boarding. About: I have had cats and dogs my entire life. I have pet sit for a number family members; cars, dogs, chickens, and a duck. Have taken care of my pets solo for extended periods of time. I am currently in school for Elementary Education. I have classes 3 times week, but 2 only have certain dates. I am not on campus for more than 2 hours each of these days. About: I graduated from college with a degree in Veterinary Technology. I currently work at vet hospital in Maine. I have been with animals all my life. And have two of my own. I work full time so during the week days afternoon potty time will be hard but if they can handle over 6+ hours of being alone then it will work perfectly. I would care for your animal at your house so it will be easier on your animal and not be anxious when at a new place. I will give them lots of cuddles and love. I treat them like they are my own. About: I have had my dog for over 9 years. She is very good with others. I have a fenced in backyard, and a doggy door of the screened porch. When we are home during the day in good temperatures, the door to the house will be open giving dogs the freedom of where they want to relax or play. I am currently a stay at home Mom to my wonderful twins therefore I have a pretty flexible schedule I can work around, especially if it avoids the kids naps. I have a fenced in backyard that is connected to the house via a screened in porch so there are many options of where to hang out. At night everyone is inside.
