Before caring for your pet, I like to learn as much as I can to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away. It’s helpful to know: - Feeding schedule & dietary restrictions - Medical needs or medications - Behavioral quirks (e.g., nervous around strangers, leash reactivity, separation anxiety) - Favorite toys, routines, and calming techniques - How they interact with other animals or people - Any house rules (furniture, crate training, etc.) The more I know, the better I can care for your pet just like you would. If there's anything else you'd like me to follow, special routines, training cues, or even preferred walking routes, I'm all ears!
A typical day
Every day is tailored to your pet’s unique needs and personality, whether that means long walks, belly rubs, or quiet companionship. We’ll start the day with breakfast, fresh water, and a potty break or walk, followed by some playtime with their favorite toys or a cozy snuggle session (I’m a pro at scritches!). Throughout the day, I’ll keep your pet active, engaged, and feeling loved, whether that’s fetch in the yard, puzzle toys, brushing, or just lounging together if they prefer a slower pace. I stick to their regular routine for meals, meds, and rest time, so everything feels familiar and stress-free. Evenings are all about winding down with more attention, cuddles, and a final potty break before bedtime. You’ll get updates and photos along the way, so you never have to wonder how your best friend is doing.

Hi there! I’m Alyssa — a lifelong animal lover, coffee enthusiast, and proud pet parent. My heart has always belonged to animals. I grew up snuggling with our family Rottweilers (Greta, Mugs, and Ossa) and now share my home with two lovable giant breed Swiss Mountain Dogs, Kimber & Fiona. I have years of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. From my furry best friends Kimber & Fiona, to cats, parrots, chickens, horses, sheep, and even fish. Whether it’s a playful pup, a shy kitty, or a feathered friend, I understand that each animal has their own unique personality and needs. As a fellow pet owner, I know how important it is to feel confident that your animals are safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. You can count on me to be responsible, reliable, and fully dedicated to keeping tails wagging and whiskers twitching in your absence.
