“This was my first time leaving my puppy and Jennifer made it so much easier. She asked great questions before her drop-in. Her communication is excellent. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Kate was very communicative from our first message. She set up a meet and greet with our cat. She has a lovely demeanor. Our cat came up and allowed her to pet her on her first interaction. Daily texts, photos and videos made it clear that our cat was in good hands. I highly recommend Kate for your pet care!”

“Stephanie was wonderful, she made an effort to set time for a check in before the visit even with a last minute booking on my end. It made me comfortable that my kitty Merli was in good hands. She was timely and took great care of Merli. Thank you, Stephanie!”

“Steph took care of my rabbit for a long trip away and during the holidays and she went above and beyond. Consistently checked in with plenty of photos and took the extra time and care to keep his space clean and spend some time with him. She even made a special second trip on his birthday that I was unfortunately missing!! I would absolutely recommend her.”

“Hunter was very communicative during the visits with our puppy as well as while scheduling a meet and greet. She was also very punctual during the visits and provided a great summary of how it went.”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life; dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and bunnies. I’m good at directions and I’ll make sure that your fur-baby is taken care of the way you want. I’m attending UNH full-time while being participating in athletics. I’m looking to make a few extra bucks in between the times that I’m not studying, attending class, or working out. I currently have two cats back home. I always make sure they have fresh food and water, I play and cuddle with them. When I had dogs, I did the same and always took them for their daily walks and bathroom breaks.
“Leah has been absolutely amazing taking care of my dog Otis while I recover from surgery. She is easy to communicate with, shows up on time with a smile, and most importantly clearly truly cares about Otis being happy and getting the care he needs. I am incredibly grateful to have found such a wonderful and caring person to help take care of my pet.”

About: I'm currently a Pre-Veterinary student at University of New Hampshire and currently work at a local veterinary clinic. As a veterinary assistant I have gained experience with animal handling and care. I am also Fear Free Certified and know had to adequately prevent fear, anxiety, and stress in both cats and dogs. I have previously worked at a training facility and am familiar with certain signals and behaviors that animals demonstrate to express themselves. I have owned cats and dogs my entire life and have been exposed to many types of breeds, species, and seen interesting cases regarding animal health. When I'm not at school I take care of my two dogs and cats at home. Furthermore, I work part-time at a veterinary clinic at school and at home so I am constantly surrounded by animals and have exposure to many cases. I previously owned a diabetic cat and learned how to administer insulin shots and monitor her glucose levels multiple times a day. I feed and water my animals in my home at least twice a day, snacks are often provided as well. I walk my dogs as much as necessary (typically twice a day). I always play with my cats and dogs. I have a kitten who loves playing fetch with toy mice and a 5 year old dog who enjoys hiking trips and swimming. The two dogs get groomed when needed but I brush them consistently in between grooms. Finally, I am responsible when it comes to my animals' health and notice any changes in behavior or appearance almost immediately. I find it important to keep them up to date with vaccines and any other medications they need.
“Happy we found Sarah to be our go-to person for when we need someone to drop in / walk Milah! She's great with our pup, and provides detailed updates. She showed up on time, followed all of our instructions to a T, and our pup loved the visit. Would book again!”

About: Growing up, I always loved animals and would ask to take care of and walk my neighbors’ or friends’ dogs. My family got 2 dogs while I was in high school and I was able to take care of them and train them. I’m currently in college pursuing a degree in Animal Science and on the road to becoming a vet, so I have lots of animal experience! I’m currently a college student and am free on weekends. Over the summer, I will be free all day everyday until my internship starts and am looking to help out whenever possible! My neighborhood is very dog and cat friendly. I don’t have a fenced in yard but easily use leashes for my own dogs. I only have two dogs that get along with other dogs pretty well but could be put in their crate if needed. However, it would be easier to stay at the client’s home if overnight care is needed.
“We've used Jason on a regular schedule for a few weeks now. We definitely plan on continuing this, it's been working great. We have a St Bernard, and his size/strength worried us with a lot of the younger people who work through this app. Jason has experience with larger dogs, and we feel much more comfortable with an adult. He has been communicating very well, and we love seeing the 'cards' with pictures of our pup playing in the yard rather than being stuck inside all day.”

About: Since I was a young girl I was always the family remember in charge of making sure our pets were fed, entertained, trained and given exercise. Around the age of 10 was my first time watching over our neighbors new puppy as they went on vacation. At the time I was nervous but my energetic energy matched the puppy perfectly. Currently i’m renting an apartment at my college UNH with my cat and a roommate. My neighbors who have pets continuously asked me to watch them because of how much time and energy I put into carrying for them. Sometimes I only watch them for the day when work or school takes over and other for extended periods of time. If this becomes the case I make sure to walk and entertained the pet so that they don’t feel lonely. Cat sitting in house is my most common form of cat sitting. Cats and dogs have very different needs from a sitter that I can provide with my years of experience working and owning my own pets I’m currently on summer break until August so my availability to spend time with your fur babies is very open. Keeping in mind that it is still my break there will be times in which I wish to fully experience my summer :) If there is a fenced in yard or not, I still plan to take pups on daily leash walks to ensure safety of the both of us. Ultimately whatever the client feels most comfortable and confident with I will ensure to use those methods. This can include crate use, specific walk routes, specific animal preferences and more.
About: I have 30 plus years of experience caring for pets of all kinds including bathing, administering medication, senior dog care or handling puppies. I’ve cared for cats and even bunnies. I am reliable, detail-oriented, and treat every animal as if they were my own.I would love to meet you and your best friend! Send me a message to set up a no-obligation meet-and-greet. I do not currently own any pets. I do miss having them! I would care for them in between my other part- time job. Please coincided me for your pet care needs. I would enjoy caring for your pet in your home or walking near your home. I’m happy to provide food, medicine and other services upon request.

Madbury cat parents share their Rover experiences
I hired Tami for a short, albeit somewhat higher-need visit for my two cats. One of the cats had simple needs, but the other needed daily medication and monitoring of a wound. I hired Tami specifically because she advertised herself as a vet tech, so I felt comfortable that she would take care of these needs. I would have normally canceled my trip, but it was for work, so I couldn't Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Tami after this experience. When I came home, a few things were not in the condition I would have liked. The litter boxes were half empty and not very clean, despite leaving a brand new bag of litter out on the counter. This was especially bothersome because one of my cats had an open wound on his leg that was healing. One of my cats' water bowls was nearly empty, even though it was a large fountain and she had just been there earlier in the day. However, my real issue came when my roommate mentioned that Tami did not seem to stay for very long. This prompted me to check my security cameras, and I realized that she fabricated all of her visit cards in all but one. The most egregious was a visit when she claimed to be present for the full 30 minutes, but actually only stayed for 9 minutes. This is barely enough time to give my cat his medicine and put food in his bowl, let alone tend to two cats, clean litterboxes, and give them a little attention. I paid Tami for two cats, and I was told she never interacted with or did anything for my second cat (who did not need the medication). In total, during a 3-day booking, Tami claimed to be present for a total of 45 minutes that she was not actually there.
