About: I love to make sure your babies are happy, safe and comfortable so that you can enjoy your time away without worry. I’m a teacher/social worker by trade, so I’m patient, kind and caring. Special needs or requests are not an issue. My consistent communication and caring for your pets as my own is what makes me your best choice! I’m a social worker, so I’m off on weekends routinely, which coincides with families wanting time away. Occasionally available weeknights for walks or drop ins. Weekends are more flexible, and I’m usually more available. I generally prefer boarding in my home and my routine is planned around your babies. Their needs are my priority! Happy to provide care in my home for dogs on weekends. Walking trails and small yard. Other dogs are plentiful here, but-I will always keep your dog leashed at all times. I’m not against an occasional pup cup trip but have also respected meat-based, gluten free and hypoallergenic diets as well. Only one dog (family) at a time.
About: I have had my dog for over 9 years. She is very good with others. I have a fenced in backyard, and a doggy door of the screened porch. When we are home during the day in good temperatures, the door to the house will be open giving dogs the freedom of where they want to relax or play. I am currently a stay at home Mom to my wonderful twins therefore I have a pretty flexible schedule I can work around, especially if it avoids the kids naps. I have a fenced in backyard that is connected to the house via a screened in porch so there are many options of where to hang out. At night everyone is inside.
“Veska is wonderful! My dog Bennie stayed with Veska for a week and she took great care of him. Veska is gentle and kind, and Bennie loves her. She and her husband and son made Bennie part of the family, and even let him sleep in their bed, which is what he is used to at home. Veska followed directions I had left regarding feeding, walks, etc. She also went above and beyond by brushing him and even gave him a bath. He looked better when I picked him up than when I had dropped him off. I highly recommend Veska for safe loving dog care.”

We were amazed at how Riley quickly became comfortable! He was welcomed by Julia and soon learned the daily routine. Her knowledge of puppies and training is very deep, and her quiet way was very reassuring to us, and for Riley. She even shared maps of her favorite trails so we could continue to take riley to some of his now favorite walks. We look forward to booking with Julia in the near future. “Absolutely amazing! She took care of both of my dogs. One has special needs (deaf and blind) and she was incredibly understanding by and accommodating to his every need. Even while taking care of my high maintenance boy she also made sure my other dog (lab mix) got plenty of attention and exercise! She has a great yard for the pups and even set up a gated area in her home for my little blind guy to keep him safe from running into things or getting lost. Her whole family helped to make sure both my pups received plenty of attention and care! If you have any concerns about having some one sit your pup she is the person to go to!”
