“Our dog stayed with Colleen for a week while we were on vacation. This was our first time leaving him for that long, and Colleen made us feel comfortable each day, with detailed updates and photos. Colleen went above and beyond to make adjustments specific to Cooper’s need for recharge time. Cooper loves it at Colleen’s house and was happy and calm when we picked him up. Thank you Colleen!❤️”

“Bailey had a great time as always and we are thrilled to leave her in a place she is so comfortable and well cared for. Kane and Colette were very flexible with us when our flight was delayed due to weather!”

About: I have always had dogs growing up. I am currently studying Animal Science with a minor in public health, looking to go into Animal Welfare. I am an intern at the New Hampshire SPCA where I have been expanding my experience in animal handling and enrichment. I work Sunday-Thursday from 8-4 at the NHSPCA where I am an Animal Care Technician. I am available before or after work along with Friday’s and Saturday’s. I have a dog park at my apartment complex and I love taking dogs on long walks and working on their leash training. I handle all behaviors at the shelter, so I am able to modify my care accordingly.
“Katie, is fantastic I receive updates and photos of my animals through out the time I was away. Plus she always, speaks with me regarding how they did while there. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to feel secure in the person watching their babies. PS Daisy and Boy love Katie”

About: I love to make sure your babies are happy, safe and comfortable so that you can enjoy your time away without worry! FaceTime, texts and consistent communication is what makes me your best choice! Former special educator, patience is my virtue! Weekday social worker, so I’m off on weekends routinely, which coincides with families wanting some getaway time. Occasionally available weeknights for walks and drop ins. Weekends are more flexible, and I’m usually available AM/PM or both. Looking to begin boarding in the Fall 2025 Primarily, I can come to your house for care. Occasionally, happily ready to provide care in my home for dogs on weekends. Walking trails and small yard. Other dogs are plentiful here, I will always keep your dog leashed at all times. I’m not against an occasional pup cup trip but have also respected gluten free diets as well.
“5 Stars – Ashley is an Absolute Gem! I honestly can’t say enough good things about Ashley. She has been watching my two English bulldogs, Winston and Bentley, for over a year now whenever I travel, and she is hands-down the best dog sitter I’ve ever had. From the moment we met her, both boys were instantly smitten. Now, every single time I ask, “Do you want to go see Ashley?!” they lose their minds with excitement—tails wagging, happy snores, the full bulldog drama. That alone tells me everything I need to know about how much they love her. Ashley creates such a safe, fun, and loving environment. She’s incredibly responsible with their medications (a few daily meds and eye drops), follows all instructions to the letter, and sends the best photo and video updates while I’m away so I never have to worry. She genuinely spends time with them—lots of play, cuddles, and supervised fun with her other well-mannered boarding dogs. When I pick them up, they’re happily exhausted from all the playtime and come home with that perfect “I had the best vacation” bulldog grin. I trust Ashley 100% with my fur kids and feel so lucky to have found her. If you’re looking for someone who will love and care for your dogs like they’re her own, look no further. I recommend her without any hesitation and will continue booking with her every time I travel. Thank you, Ashley, for being so amazing! 🐾❤️”

About: Hi, I’m Leah! Animals have been the center of my world for as long as I can remember, and I bring that same lifelong love and care into every visit, walk, or cuddle session. Whether it’s a long walk, playful games, feeding, or medication, I make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved—just like they do with you. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family, so I make communication and dependability my top priorities. You’ll always know how your pet is doing, and you can relax knowing they’re in capable, compassionate hands. Pet care isn’t my side gig—it’s my full-time passion. I’ve dedicated my schedule entirely to caring for animals, which means your pets get my full attention, flexibility, and consistency every time. Experience: I've been immersed in the world of pet care since I was young, starting at the tender age of 5 when my cat Spooky had a litter of kittens. Throughout my life, I've had the pleasure of caring for pets at every stage, fostering a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors.
About: I've had large dogs my entire life, including a special needs dog and police-trained K9 dogs. I have owned and operated a farm hotel in Brazil for the past 5 years, where I was the primary responsible for all daily care, injections, medical treatments and behavioral work with the animals (5 large dogs and multiple farm animals), so am very comfortable administering any special care your animal may need. I have also rescued & fostered nearly a dozen dogs from the street and helped them find forever homes. I love all animals and understand each one is different with unique personalities. The pics on my profile are from my farm. I work from home which allows me to always be present to keep your pet company, and love taking small cuddle, walk and play breaks throughout the day to break up my desk routine. Having extra dogs is the perfect excuse to stretch my legs! I live alone in a spacious apartment downtown Portsmouth where I can board up to 2 large dogs or 3 small dogs at a time. I am only a 5min walk from the Mill Pond dog park and can take your dog for several walks throughout the day. I can also crate your dog if they prefer it. I can administer medication and provide any special treatment necessary. I treat all pets as my own, like members of my family.
“Rebecca was amazing! She allowed us to settle our dogs in and that’s when I knew they would be happy and cared for like we do. She sent us regular updates (video and photo) we felt very comfortable. It was our dogs first night outside of our home and she made it stress free, would highly recommend Rebecca and we would definitely reach out again.”

“This was my first time leaving my puppy and Jennifer made it so much easier. She asked great questions before her drop-in. Her communication is excellent. Can’t recommend her enough!”

About: I’ve had a cat in my life since I was born. She was a feisty one with everyone but me. She was my baby that I would do anything for. As she got older, she required more intensive care, such as medication, walking assistance, and food assistance. From taking such intense care of her in her last years, it made me realize animal care is in my future. after her passing I started to do in house cat sitting as it made the cats I was taking care of more relaxed. whether it be a feisty cat or a loving cat, I always treated them the same nevertheless. Every day, I fed them twice a day with treats in between freshwater three times a day, clean the litter box, exercise, and cuddle with them (if they wanted to spend time with me). This regimen seemed to be the best for all different cat personality types. I never want to intrude on their space just to make them comfortable while their family is gone.

About: I have 30 plus years of experience caring for cats. I am reliable, detail-oriented, and treat every animal as if they were my own. I would love to meet you and your best friend! Send me a message to set up a no-obligation meet-and-greet."

About: I have 2 cats - the oldest one (Stevie showed above in his party outfit☺️) is 3! Prior to leaving home for clinical rotations was their primary caregiver. We got both as kittens and have had a great time all together since! I also had cats and dogs growing up.

“Very glad Stephanie was able to hang out with our cat Pepper while we were away :) I could tell she really spent quality time with her and that she was well cared for :)”

I currently work as a veterinary nurse at a local clinic and have gained cat handling experience from this job (as well as from my kitties at home!) I have a Fear Free Certification and ensure that the animal is being taken care of in a manner that reduces fear, anxiety, and stress.
“Yujie was amazing with my two dogs. He was incredibly helpful and always responded very quickly, even last minute. His communication was excellent, which gave me complete peace of mind. I could tell right away that he is kind, patient, and truly cares about the animals he takes care of. I will absolutely continue to use Yujie for my dogs and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate animal care.”

It was clear she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after, and we felt completely at ease knowing Oaits was in such good hands. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dog sitter.”

About: Without exception, the dog park is always one of the best parts of my day. I've had three dogs of my own, and have been around countless other dogs, most of whom instantly become my new best friends. We just gravitate to each other, hence the fuzzy friend whisperer nickname. I have a playful, loving attitude toward every dog I meet. I am also sensitive to dogs who need a little more patience and space to ease into trusting me and respect the boundaries that they need to do that. My training style with my own dogs is focused on positive reinforcement rather than punishment. This approach translates to other dogs as well, unless their owners request differently. Your dog will be in caring, responsible hands with me. They will be loved. Vogel Emergency Vet just opened right across the street from our house, so if anything kind of emergency pops up, your baby will be a hop, skip and a jump away from the care they need. I'm self employed and work mostly from home so my schedule is quite flexible. Sometimes I’ll have drop in visits throughout the day, but if your dog is boarding with me, there will generally be someone else at home with them. They’ll rarely, if ever be left alone. I live on a small farm but also live near a road, so your dog will always be safely on a leash when we go outside for potty breaks. I have a very friendly 12 year old 45lb labradoodle named Huck to keep your baby company in the rare cases that I'm not at home. I have a "squirrel observatory" (bird feeder) right near my workspace so your dog will not only be supervised most of the time but also entertained.
About: Been taking care of pets for 18 years from cats to medium size dogs and I love it and make sure you do as well. I can take care of your pets full time or part time I'm really flexible and I'll work around your schedule for best outcome for you. I'll Introduce them to my home and make sure they are comfortable before we play or if they have energy ill take for a walk or use a toy Inside
“Eric was great from start to finish. My Golendoodles liked him immediately. I got regular updates from them settling in, playtime, and more than what I have expected. Every few hours he would send some photos and some feedback with my dogs cuddled up with them on the couch or playing. I will be asking Eric again when I’m in town visiting my family. I have nothing but good things to say about Eric. Thank you Eric!”

About: Dogs have been my passion for 30 years. I have had all types of breeds - tiny to giant and have adopted all of my babies. I am experienced with giving special medical care and medications including injections as several of my kids have had severe illnesses. I believe there are no bad dogs, just dogs who express themselves differently. Would love to meet your four-legged family and help make them happy. My day rates are based on an 8 hr day. Rates for after 8 hrs can be discussed. I work from home and have a flexible schedule which allows me time during the day to provide the attention needed for walks and potty break. I have a fenced in area for potty breaks and playtime. Timber is in full puppy play mode and loves to share her toys and balls with our guests.

About: I love being with animals and have experience caring for a wide range of pets, including dogs, cats, jumping sliders, and lizards. I enjoy learning each animal’s personality and making sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. I am a student who goes to college out of state but is home for the month of January and is also working part time. Since losing a dog of my own I figured this would be a great opportunity to help others with their pets and still have a great time with animals. I do have a fenced in yard if I take dogs into my home but in other peoples homes, listening to the guardian is most important to me on how they coexist with their pet and respecting that. At the end of the day I want to help people care for their pets.

About: Since I was a young girl I was always the family remember in charge of making sure our pets were fed, entertained, trained and given exercise. Around the age of 10 was my first time watching over our neighbors new puppy as they went on vacation. At the time I was nervous but my energetic energy matched the puppy perfectly. Currently i’m renting an apartment at my college UNH with my cat and a roommate. My neighbors who have pets continuously asked me to watch them because of how much time and energy I put into carrying for them. Sometimes I only watch them for the day when work or school takes over and other for extended periods of time. If this becomes the case I make sure to walk and entertained the pet so that they don’t feel lonely. Cat sitting in house is my most common form of cat sitting. Cats and dogs have very different needs from a sitter that I can provide with my years of experience working and owning my own pets I’m currently on summer break until August so my availability to spend time with your fur babies is very open. Keeping in mind that it is still my break there will be times in which I wish to fully experience my summer :) If there is a fenced in yard or not, I still plan to take pups on daily leash walks to ensure safety of the both of us. Ultimately whatever the client feels most comfortable and confident with I will ensure to use those methods. This can include crate use, specific walk routes, specific animal preferences and more.

“Michelle was great! We dropped our pup off with her for a wedding night sleepover and before we knew it he was running around playing and didn’t even care that we left. She loves dogs and treated ours as if he was her own (feeding, walks, playtime, safety). She would’ve taken him to the beach the next morning but we had to pick him up early and drive back to NYC. 🐾❤️”

About: Hi and thanks for considering me to take care of your dog (s)! I may not have years of experience in owning a dog, (just got our 1st puppy last year!) but I am a huge lover of animals and have years of experience in taking care of them. I'm the girl who stocks up on treats for when my coworkers bring their dogs to work! I'm the girl who cant walk past a dog on a trail without wanting to stop and pet the dogs. I am loving, caring, and will spoil your fur baby with lots of playtime, love, and a fun run or walks! Let's talk about you and your dog's needs! I do work full time from 9-5pm Monday through Friday, with most weekends off, But I can check in on your babies before or after work, if it's just drop ins, or schedule walks. We do live in a nice quiet and low traffic safe neighborhood with plenty of trails around to walk your dog, and I will always abide and follow any special instructions you may have with the utmost care and respect, so that he or she, and YOU, will be happy.
