Hey there! I’m Kate. I'm a lover of ALL animals and experienced pet-sitter and a work-from-home semi-empty nester. 😉 As a solopreneur who schedules her own work days, I have lots of flexibility and freedom to take care of your fur babies. I believe that pets are a part of the family, so you can rest assured that I’ll treat your pet with love, kindness, and respect. Cats and dogs have always been an integral part of my life since I was little. I could never be away from any of my pets for very long before I had separation anxiety, lol! In all seriousness, it’s easy for me to form genuine bonds with all kinds of animals, which is why pet-sitting seems to come naturally to me. I’m married with two kids in college, and we have two kittens we adopted from FURR in December 2023. Prior to our new fluffballs, we had two English setters and two other cats who all got along amazingly well. Sadly, over the span of a couple of years, we had to make the painful decision to let each one go as old age and illness got the best of them. While nursing senior animals can be emotionally taxing, I’m so grateful we were able to give them that extra dose of love and care in their final months. Some of my favorite activities to do with dogs include fetch, walk/hike, and swimming. I love to get cats chasing after balls, lights, strings—you name it! And, of course, cuddling and swooning over them is top priority!
