“We felt so at ease having Marion take care of our cat, Norman, when we were out of town! She is an animal lover and took great care of Norman while we were gone. We 100% recommend her to anyone in need of a pet sitter!”

“Amazing Kate to the rescue, again. Kate is an awesome person who always goes the extra mile with your fur babies. She takes initiative to do some extra things that say so much about her as a Sitter and a person! Rock on Kate!❤️ ❤️❤️”

“Betsy was able to accommodate a last minute drop in request and followed directions wonderfully! My pup can be a little shy/anxious around new people but I know he appreciated the company too! Thanks so much!”

About: Since I was a young girl I was always the family remember in charge of making sure our pets were fed, entertained, trained and given exercise. Around the age of 10 was my first time watching over our neighbors new puppy as they went on vacation. At the time I was nervous but my energetic energy matched the puppy perfectly. Currently i’m renting an apartment at my college UNH with my cat and a roommate. My neighbors who have pets continuously asked me to watch them because of how much time and energy I put into carrying for them. Sometimes I only watch them for the day when work or school takes over and other for extended periods of time. If this becomes the case I make sure to walk and entertained the pet so that they don’t feel lonely. Cat sitting in house is my most common form of cat sitting. Cats and dogs have very different needs from a sitter that I can provide with my years of experience working and owning my own pets I’m currently on summer break until August so my availability to spend time with your fur babies is very open. Keeping in mind that it is still my break there will be times in which I wish to fully experience my summer :) If there is a fenced in yard or not, I still plan to take pups on daily leash walks to ensure safety of the both of us. Ultimately whatever the client feels most comfortable and confident with I will ensure to use those methods. This can include crate use, specific walk routes, specific animal preferences and more.
About: I am a full-time working professional. For the past three years, I have fostered dogs with diverse personalities in my free time. I primarily have experience with Shiba Inu's; they can often have aloof and stubborn personalities. I also have an experience having a rescue cat since she was 5 months old. I am a full-time professional who works 8:00AM to 5:30PM. I will have availability after work and on the weekends; however, it could change based on other commitments. I have a cat who has free range of the home. However, any time there is another animal in my residence, they will be separated.
About: Animal lover with a passion for caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. Reliable, patient, and attentive, with a focus on keeping pets safe, active, and happy on every walk. I'm currently not working, so I have plenty of time to cuddle and take care of your pets! My availability is wide open! Limited weekend hours. My home isn't pet friendly as my cats don't like friends. So any pet watching would have to be at your house or outside or another location.
“Shauni did an amazing job looking after my cat while I was away. She took such great care of her and went above and beyond in making sure she was happy and safe while I was gone!”

“Brynn showed up on schedule and took our big dog Cassie for a walk and then had play time. Cassie seemed very happy in the photos and when we got home. Brynn even cleaned up some vomit on the floor. Will use her again!”

“Abigail was wonderful and Luna was so happy to see her! This was our first time leaving town and having someone other than friends and family. She was professional and kept us informed with lots of pictures. It was comforting to know Luna loved her and she was so reliable.”

“Yujie has been doing regular weekly drop-in visits for our two dogs, and he’s been amazing. He’s very attentive, communicative, and responds quickly. He’s truly gone above and beyond to care for my dogs while I’m working. My dogs, Arnold and Rico, absolutely love Yujie, and he always sends us great pictures during his visits. It gives us such peace of mind knowing they have a caring, reliable person spending time with them during the day—playing with them and giving them potty breaks. About: Hi! My name is Angie, and caring for animals has always been a lifelong passion. I previously worked as a Manager at Paw Tuckaway Pet in Raymond, NH. Currently, I am pursuing my Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology while working locally as a Veterinary Assistant, allowing me to expand my knowledge and provide exceptional care to every pet I meet! With over 10 years of pet sitting experience, I've cared for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and small mammals, and I'm comfortable handling pets of all kinds. I have a special interest in exotic pets and since 2020, I've specialized in nail trims for dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, and reptiles. When I'm not caring for pets, you'll usually find me curled up in a book. In my spare time I also enjoy exploring the outdoors, capturing nature through photography, and spending time with my sun conure, Maui. If you are looking for someone who treats every pet like family, I may be the right pet sitter for you! I am available before and after work as well as midday on days off. A typical drop-in visit is around 30 minutes and includes feeding, walking, potty, and anything else your pet may need. Every pet and their family is different, which is why no visit looks the same. I am flexible and willing to provide whatever you and your family may need while you are away, including getting mail, putting trash out, opening/closing blinds, switching lights, etc. I am also a huge fan of sending updates after each visit along with photos of your pet!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Barrington. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
