About: 🔆Hi! You can call me Jordan! I’m a lifelong animal lover with 12 years of hands-on experience caring for both 🐶 and 🐱 I raised my own rescued dog and cat from just 1 month old and they’re now happy, healthy seniors — so I truly understand the patience, consistency, and love pets need at every stage of life. They’ve moved with me through five cities and three countries. I’ve never given up on them through any stage of my life. 👩🍳 I enjoy cooking nutritious and balanced meals for animals (sometimes for myself ) I love all animals and will learn more knowledge if you need cares for all kinds of pets (chickens, ducks, birds, pigs, etc) 💻 I have been working from home for over 6 years so I will be available everyday! Do not hesitate to contact me on any holidays. Available 7 days a week including all holidays🫡 I will strictly follow all instructions and offer detailed services for them. I will use all the pets knowledge I learnt from books and internet
About: I love and care for my own dog Finnley—my life is truly built around him. I’ll be offering that same level of love and attention to any dog in my care. If you or anyone you know ever needs help, I’d love to be considered. Please feel free to share my name with any family or friends who might be looking! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home by 2:45 each day, which allows me to be present and attentive in the afternoons and evenings. I take the dogs out for a walk and make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and care as part of my normal day. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, secure environment where they’ll be well cared for at all times. My dog Finnley is very friendly and loves the company of other dogs, so your pup will have a built-in buddy to keep them happy and comfortable.
“Shana was truly an exceptional sitter and we feel so lucky to have found her. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how thoughtful and prepared she was — she even had a clipboard with notes ready, which immediately made us feel comfortable and confident leaving our dog in her care. Throughout the stay she sent so many photos and detailed updates, which we really appreciated. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing exactly how things were going and seeing how happy our dog was. Our pup ended up having a bit of a GI issue while we were away, and Shana handled it with such calm confidence and care. She clearly knows dogs incredibly well and was so composed and knowledgeable in every situation. She even cooked rice and chicken for her to help settle her stomach and kept us updated on how she was doing, which meant so much to us. Shana, her husband Dylan, and their dog Cleo created such a warm, loving environment. It genuinely felt like our dog was being cared for by people who truly understand and love dogs. We are so grateful for the care she gave our pup and would trust Shana with her again in a heartbeat.”

“Nicole is such a lovely person and we’re so glad to have found her! She took good care of our weirdo husky and he came home tired, which is no small feat! We can’t recommend her enough and will definitely reach out to Nicole again when we need doggy coverage in the future.”

“Absolutely amazing 🤩! Alyssa was wonderful, super communicative, welcoming and energetic. Jasper immediately felt at home with her and her whole family. She also gave daily updates and amazing pictures! All while making sure Jasper got his medicine! Highly recommend!”

“We can't say enough great things about Kate and her time with our dog Genie. Kate was easy to communicate with and was so flexible in arranging pickup and drop-off. During the visit, Kate sent frequent updates and pictures, and Genie was obviously beaming in all of them - she clearly had a blast and got a ton of attention. We will definitely be using Kate again and would highly recommend her to others.”

About: I've had large dogs my entire life, including a special needs dog and police-trained K9 dogs. I have owned and operated a farm hotel in Brazil for the past 5 years, where I was the primary responsible for all daily care, injections, medical treatments and behavioral work with the animals (5 large dogs and multiple farm animals), so am very comfortable administering any special care your animal may need. I have also rescued & fostered nearly a dozen dogs from the street and helped them find forever homes. I love all animals and understand each one is different with unique personalities. The pics on my profile are from my farm. I work from home which allows me to always be present to keep your pet company, and love taking small cuddle, walk and play breaks throughout the day to break up my desk routine. Having extra dogs is the perfect excuse to stretch my legs! I live alone in a spacious apartment downtown Portsmouth where I can board up to 2 large dogs or 3 small dogs at a time. I am only a 5min walk from the Mill Pond dog park and can take your dog for several walks throughout the day. I can also crate your dog if they prefer it. I can administer medication and provide any special treatment necessary. I treat all pets as my own, like members of my family.
“We had a wonderful experience with Briahna. She is prompt and courteous in all her communication. Obviously loves dogs and takes her responsibility to care for them seriously. Our dog seemed comfortable and content.”

“Our pup Lucy had the best time with Adelle. She went on plenty of walks and tons of play. Adelle was very responsive and easy to coordinate with and gave plenty of updates and photos! Lucy can't wait to stay with Adelle again!”

“Finn had such a great time with all the pups! It was his first time staying overnight at a home other than his, and Jaclyn/Eric were wonderful at putting my mind at ease. They sent lots of videos and photos and were excellent at communicating throughout the week as needed. Such nice people who genuinely love dogs, couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you!”

“Bielka is just the best. When I bring Curtis to her, he runs up her stairs and he feels like he is home. She keeps in touch during visits and shows photos and videos that show how comfortable he is.”

“Rosie was very happy and well taken care of. Jessica went out of her way to make sure she ate since Rosie was homesick and not eating her dry food. I was updated daily with pictures.”

“Betsy was great! We left our small dog Guppy with her overnight, and she had a great time. Betsy was very responsive and took great care of our dog, we definitely plan to work with her again.”

About: I am a reliable, active, and detail-oriented dog sitter. I tailor every stay to your dog's unique routine and personality. Fully equipped to handle feeding, medication, exercise and plenty of TLC. Let's chat about how I can make your dog's day great! I do doggie daycare/boarding full time, so I am always home. During the day, the pups go on pack walks, explore and sniff or they can chill in the fenced yard, if that is more their style. I am fully insured and certified in canine first aid and CPR, so your dog is always in safe, capable hands. My family dogs are friendly, laid back and always welcome to new friends. My home is set up with multiple boundaries to allow dogs to have quiet time when needed.
“Krystyna and Sara were AMAZING. They took care of my 2 dogs for a long weekend when I had to go away for a family funeral. I was already anxious about leaving them with someone new and they went above and beyond. They sent pictures and messages throughout the day. One of my dogs was having a paw issue with his nail and they took care of him and all the needs that came along with it. I will be recommending them to everyone I know and will for sure book with them again!!”

“Suzanne is incredible. We received lots of updates and she took very good care of Abby. We had to extend Abby's stay due to a family illness and Suzanne was very accommodating. Abby certainly enjoyed her stay with Suzanne and Koda. We would recommend her to anyone”

“We are so pleased with the care our Buddy received while we were gone. Karen checked in with us with pictures and responded quickly to our inquiries as to how he was doing. When we picked him up he was bathed as well as all of his bedding! We will definitely be using Karen whenever we need to board Buddy.”

“Beth was a great caregiver! I feel fortunate to have had a person who knew what my dog needed for exercise and care. Beth’s attitude was laid back and she had a great house and yard for my dog. Her dog was very laid back too.”

This is the second Noreen has watched our 3 year old pup, Faye, and we cannot speak high enough about her. She's very responsive, gives great updates, and sends plenty of pictures. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
