About: I am a responsible, reliable, and intuitive dog lover, who will care for your dog as if they were my own. I understand the importance of showing up when scheduled and tailoring the service to your dog's individual needs. I grew up with family dogs since birth, and have cared for my own dogs over the past 20 years. I started my own professional dog walking and sitting business in 2018. I have experience with many different breeds, ages, and abilities. Through my dog walking business, I also have extensive experience walking small groups of dogs off-leash in nature. If you are interested in this service, I have two female golden retrievers who would be thrilled to join your dog on an adventure hike, providing enrichment, socialization, fun, and lots of exercise! I've recently relocated to Strafford, NH so I'm looking forward to building my clientele in a new area! I serve the Southern Lakes Region of NH. Please note: -Boarding and Sitting Nightly Rates include potty breaks in the morning and evening, as well as a 30 minute drop-in visit or private walk midday. Additional time for the midday walk, adventure hikes, or additional walks may be added on at a discounted rate. Dog care is my full-time job and life! Drop-In Visits & Walks: I'm available Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm, for walks and drop-in visits, with some after-hours availability on an as-needed basis (please note, after hours requests may incur an additional fee). Overnight Sitting & Boarding: Available 7 days/week. Since I care for many dogs during the week, your dog may be hanging out at home for a period of time while I walk other dogs or run errands. Other than that, I'll be home with your dog! Your dog will be treated the same as my dogs, and that means they will be the center of my attention! Boarding: This is a very calm and quiet household (with the exception of some barking) - no kids. My two female golden retrievers (2yrs & 10yrs) are allowed on our couches, so yours would be too if you allow it. Your dog is welcome to sleep in my husband's and my bedroom, or downstairs in the living room/kitchen if they prefer a cool tile/wood floor. Free-range dogs are welcome and crate training is not required unless your dog is destructive or unsafe when left unattended. Please bring your dog's crate if needed, as well as their bed, food, and any other items they may need. We have a fenced in yard to let them out for potty-breaks and to play with each other as well. Overnight Sitting: I have many years of experience staying in clients' homes with their dogs. In addition to caring for your dog(s), I'm happy to take in mail/packages and water house plants. If you want, I can even bring one or both of my dogs with me to provide socialization and companionship.

One Household at a Time — Personalized In-Home Boarding 🐾 I offer personalized overnight boarding in my home for dogs and cats who do best in a comfortable, relaxed home environment. What makes my boarding different is that I accept pets from only one visiting household at a time. Your pet won’t be one of several unrelated animals being boarded together. This allows me to provide focused, individualized care and plenty of attention, affection, playtime and companionship throughout their stay. For dogs: I have a friendly Golden Retriever and two cats of my own, so visiting dogs must be reliably cat-friendly and comfortable living around cats. I prefer a meet-and-greet before the first stay to make sure your dog is comfortable in our home and is a good fit with our resident pets. For cats: I welcome cats as well and provide a quiet, comfortable space where they can settle in at their own pace. I accept only one visiting cat at a time, or multiple cats from the same household, allowing me to provide a calm environment and plenty of individual attention. I especially enjoy caring for mature and senior pets and understand that some animals benefit from extra patience, reassurance and a predictable routine. You’ll receive regular photos and updates throughout your pet’s stay, so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re comfortable, receiving plenty of attention and being cared for as an individual. My goal is for your pet to feel like a guest in my home—not one of many pets in a boarding facility. ❤️🐾

Im more of a homebody type that prefers adventures outside than in the city. I have a fenced in yard but in a residential neighborhood. I would consider this if your dog and my dog became friends outside first.
