Our pup ended up having a bit of a GI issue while we were away, and Shana handled it with such calm confidence and care. She clearly knows dogs incredibly well and was so composed and knowledgeable in every situation. She even cooked rice and chicken for her to help settle her stomach and kept us updated on how she was doing, which meant so much to us. Shana, her husband Dylan, and their dog Cleo created such a warm, loving environment. It genuinely felt like our dog was being cared for by people who truly understand and love dogs. We are so grateful for the care she gave our pup and would trust Shana with her again in a heartbeat.”

About: I love to make sure your babies are happy, safe and comfortable so that you can enjoy your time away without worry. I’m a teacher/social worker by trade, so I’m patient, kind and caring. Special needs or requests are not an issue. My consistent communication and caring for your pets as my own is what makes me your best choice! I’m a social worker, so I’m off on weekends routinely, which coincides with families wanting time away. Occasionally available weeknights for walks or drop ins. Weekends are more flexible, and I’m usually more available. I generally prefer boarding in my home and my routine is planned around your babies. Their needs are my priority! Happy to provide care in my home for dogs on weekends. Walking trails and small yard. Other dogs are plentiful here, but-I will always keep your dog leashed at all times. I’m not against an occasional pup cup trip but have also respected meat-based, gluten free and hypoallergenic diets as well. Only one dog (family) at a time.

I’m new to NH and it was hard for me to think about leaving Maverick with anyone new, but the moment I met Sheila and Dakota all my worries went away. “Kiana was truly amazing. I had a sudden family emergency that required me to go out of state. She went so far above and beyond during that time, while having no obligation to do so. From the beginning of the cats stay with Kiana, she had been so incredibly flexible, she agreed to watch them with only two days notice, and due to the situation evolving and becoming unpredictable, she was more than happy to allow me to extend their stay. She was the direct cause of so much stress relief due to knowing the cats were safe, and well taken care of. 5/5 human. As for her actual care of the kitties she again went well above and beyond anything anyone might think is going the extra mile. The cats were given the space needed to become comfortable and very quickly, and happily adapted to the new routine. I received frequent pictures and videos, she was very communicative, and because of her vigilance we were able to create a plan of action for one of the kitties who started throwing up more frequently than normal. She even went out and bought higher quality food for the cats, and implemented a structured feeing strategy so we could better assess the puking, which I doubt was an easy task since they both free fed before they were boarded. She kept me up to date at all times and provided regular, detailed updates. 5/5 for animal care as well. She is the best sitter/boarder I have ever had any experience with, by exponents, it’s not even close. Her service was head, and shoulders above anyone I’ve personally used before and far better than anything I’ve heard about other boarders. Choosing Kiana to care for your pets should be an insanely easy decision for anyone who wants their animals taken care of at the highest level of care, and wants someone that is just a straight up good human as well.”

About: I have had my dog for over 9 years. She is very good with others. I have a fenced in backyard, and a doggy door of the screened porch. When we are home during the day in good temperatures, the door to the house will be open giving dogs the freedom of where they want to relax or play. I am currently a stay at home Mom to my wonderful twins therefore I have a pretty flexible schedule I can work around, especially if it avoids the kids naps. I have a fenced in backyard that is connected to the house via a screened in porch so there are many options of where to hang out. At night everyone is inside.

“Peter is great! Excellent communication. He is prompt in responding to questions around availability. Very accommodating as far as setting up a meet and greet. My dog Lola immediately took to Peter and his adorable dog Zeffy. Which is saying something because she is very cautious with new people and situations. Lola really enjoyed spending time with her new friends and I will definitely be using Peter again.”
