“Benji had a great time staying with Nicholas and his family. I know this because Nicholas sent me lots of pictures and I was able to see that Benji was very chill, enjoying tummy rubs, getting along well with Nicholas' other 3 dogs and finding his place to relax right under their desk (just like he does at home). Benji has a sensitive stomach and often doesn't eat for the first couple of days. When his appetite did pick up, Nicholas was careful to make sure that Benji ate only his special food and that kept his GI track working properly! On the day of our return, our pickup time had to be delayed because of a flight change, but this was not a problem at all for Nicholas. We will definitely reach out to Nicholas the next time that we have need for a pet sitter.”

I adopted my dog less than two weeks ago and - still getting to know her - had a trip planned and needed to board her for 5 days. I was hoping for someone to treat my dog like their own and Shana and Dylan did just that. In fact, they went above and beyond what I could’ve hoped for - letting her snuggle with them at night, sending me frequent updates and pup pics, going out of their way to pick up beef and rice and cook it for my girl when her stool was soft, and packing the rest to go when I picked her up. About: I'm an animal lover and have grown up with all types of animals. I have been trusted taking care of neighbors, friends, and families pets for many years. My sister is a veterinarian so I often get the pet questions. I will go above and beyond for your pet. I work from home Monday and Tuesday so I am free to go for walks and drop by your house most of the time these days. I am in the office Wednesday through Friday and will have less time but still available. Weekends are free unless I'm away. I live on an acre of land. It is not a fully fenced yard but it is set back in a small, quiet neighborhood on a dead end road. I have an indoor cat.

My most skittish cat was taking treats and playing with her within the hour, no one else had managed that with him before. All through the trip I got regular updates and photos of them all from each drop in (twice per day). When I got home they were all content as could be and it was clear they were well cared for. About: I’ve had a cat in my life since I was born. She was a feisty one with everyone but me. She was my baby that I would do anything for. As she got older, she required more intensive care, such as medication, walking assistance, and food assistance. From taking such intense care of her in her last years, it made me realize animal care is in my future. after her passing I started to do in house cat sitting as it made the cats I was taking care of more relaxed. whether it be a feisty cat or a loving cat, I always treated them the same nevertheless. Every day, I fed them twice a day with treats in between freshwater three times a day, clean the litter box, exercise, and cuddle with them (if they wanted to spend time with me). This regimen seemed to be the best for all different cat personality types. I never want to intrude on their space just to make them comfortable while their family is gone.

About: Hi! I’m Samara and I am a HUGE animal lover. I’ve been taking care of and been around sorts of animals since I was 13. From farm animals (chickens, goats, horses) to household pets such as dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles and fish. I have experience with many different breads as well as ages of animals. Sometimes on the weekend I will take them to a walking trail or dog park. I always ensure my pets are taken care of first and since I work from home it really allows me to cater my schedule around their needs. My animals are truly my world. Comfort is the most important part! A lot of our time is always great, off leash and the ability to be free and sniff around. I always keep and eye on the pets to make sure everyone is acting appropriately and behaving. I will send videos and pictures and make sure you are always kept in the loop on your pets status. But I believe I have the compassion and understanding of animal behavior to provide a unique care experience for others’ pets. I live with a highly energetic protective herding dog who has taught me a lot about animal behavior and understanding their unique needs. I am a big believer in giving animals the stimulation and exercise they need to stay happy. If I care for your pet, they are like my own. I’m a full-time remote worker who occasionally travels for my job. I am able to take pets on walks during lunch breaks and after my job. I can get up pretty early to accommodate potty breaks. If I have to leave for work, it is usually only for a few hours at a time. I do not do home sits in my home. But I am more than willing to take animals on however many walks they typically expect and adapt to their sleep schedule so that their routine is minimally impacted. If owners are comfortable with it I’m also happy to take pets on hikes/bigger adventures.

About: I’ve done a lot of pet care in my life. Whether it range from caring for my own cats to caring for others dogs. I’ve done a lot of dog sitting over the years, whether it be family, friends, or otherwise. Most of my time dog sitting has been with larger breeds such as huskies and labs, however I am comfortable with small dogs as well. I have performed a range of tasks, from common ones such as walking and feeding. To more uncommon ones such as administering oral pill medication. Currently pet care fits into every and any day of my daily and weekly routine. At this moment in time I am available all days of the week. Ad as long as it’s not soemthing before dawn, I am available most hours of the day. When it comes to things like dog walking. Providing safety and care is through using the proper leash for the dogs in the hosue and taking them on the required time/distance of walks. As well as giving them time to warm up to me as not to cause fear from an unknown individual. When my comes to things such as house sitting. Again, properly introducing myself to the pet. And fulfilling all tasks required for the pets healthy life style to continue. Also not touching anything in the house that is outside of the scope of what it allowed to give the pet what they need

I am very timely with replies. If I do not reply the day of, I will the next day. Communicate safety rules with owners prior to pet sitting, and making sure I know where everything is located, such as, food, leash, vet phone, medications. Whether or not your baby is sensitive to certain things like being touched or picked up, if they prefer calm energy or high energy. I also communicate the whole time with pet parents to reassure that their baby is in good hands and happy. Please include emergency contacts. I always leave the key hidden where it was found, in the event that there is an emergency. I haven't had this occur, but it's a good precaution

“I am so glad and grateful that Shana and Dylan watched my pup this week. I could not have asked for anyone better!! I adopted my dog less than two weeks ago and - still getting to know her - had a trip planned and needed to board her for 5 days. I was hoping for someone to treat my dog like their own and Shana and Dylan did just that. In fact, they went above and beyond what I could’ve hoped for - letting her snuggle with them at night, sending me frequent updates and pup pics, going out of their way to pick up beef and rice and cook it for my girl when her stool was soft, and packing the rest to go when I picked her up. Their dog Cleo is a sweetheart, and joined in on the doggy snuggles. I know if I ever need a sitter again I’ll be reaching out to Shana.”

About: I'm an animal lover and have grown up with all types of animals. I have been trusted taking care of neighbors, friends, and families pets for many years. My sister is a veterinarian so I often get the pet questions. I will go above and beyond for your pet. I work from home Monday and Tuesday so I am free to go for walks and drop by your house most of the time these days. I am in the office Wednesday through Friday and will have less time but still available. Weekends are free unless I'm away. I live on an acre of land. It is not a fully fenced yard but it is set back in a small, quiet neighborhood on a dead end road. I have an indoor cat.
