I am currently working full time at the boarding kennel I work at, however, I am still able to do drop-in visits, house sitting, or walks as long as you are flexible! About: I grew up with lots of cats and dogs as a kid and became experienced with taking care of them at a young age. I love playing with and taking care of pets and I'm good at reading their body language and trying to understand what an animal wants and needs. I work freelance remotely so my schedule is flexible and I have plenty of time to check on and care for your pets. I have a reliable car and have no problem coming to your home to care for your pet. I have experience with both cats and dogs and I know how to read their body language and respond to whatever it is that they need.

About: My schedule is very specific working around work shifts! I’m very communicative and we can work something out that is best for both of us!! I have both personal and professional experience with cats and dogs. I’ve worked with dogs during my time at Essex Tech. I have also have basic experiences with small animals such as rabbits, birds, and reptiles. During my time there I learned the basics of training, grooming and overall behavior. This all led me to have a better grasp at caring for dogs and what their needs are. I have my own cat named Fasa and a dog named Summer, so I have personal experience with them! He’s the buff kitty in my photos! I have also worked at a doggy daycare located in Salem called Walk A Pup where they strive to provide a safe and enriching environment for the dogs in their care. During those six months, I not only walked dogs but also did basic obedience and evening check-ins at client's homes. I was also briefly a bather at Petsmart where watching behavior is a big aspect. Currently I work there caring for the animals we sell. I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified. Working part-time fills in a lot of my time and my schedule is often on a week-by-week basis. My availability varies, so it’s best for you to just message me to find out if my schedule works with yours! I know leaving your pet to a stranger is very nerve-wracking and scary. However, I like to reassure you that because of my experience, I am equipped to make sure that your pet has the care they need while you are away for work, vacation, or any other situation. I am more than happy to update you as many times are you need me to. I am also certified in Pet CPR and First aid and have a car that allows me to drive your pet somewhere if something were to happen.

About: I grew up with, and have cared for dogs for most of my life. I have taken care of family members and friends dogs, some long-term, throughout my adult life. I’m very gentle natured and meet dogs where they are at. My job is to make them feel comfortable and cared for and all of the dogs I have cared for have had such different needs and personalities! I’m very keen on reading their signals, and have dealt with timid/older dogs in the past, and helped them come out of their shells. I currently work part time as a manager at Somersworth Storage, on Thursday’s Friday’s (9am-5pm and every other Saturday until (9am-1pm). I’m available Monday-Wednesday, however I would be available some Saturdays as well. I do not currently have any pets, and would care for an animal based off of their environment, and if they have a fenced in yard or require leash walks around the neighborhood.

“After meeting with Gwen we felt they were a good fit, and we scheduled nightly check ins/ feedings for our cats for the 10 days we would be visiting family. Gwen has such a pleasant demeanor and always talks to our cats just like we would! We made it clear that our priority is the cats getting love and attention and they consistently played with and loved on our cats. They are great at following instructions and not only made sure our cats were loved and fed but also took care of our many plants, and even tackled the weekly deep clean of our giant litter box! When we had to extend our trip for a couple days, they went above and beyond and accommodated to be able to continue the check-ins for those days. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16. I’ve owned a black lab growing up, and a German Shepard that my parents got. I currently own a Black Cat named Lucky for the last 6 Years. Hes sweet. I take care of my girlfriend’s dog all the time who is a 5 year old Morkie. I also have always been a huge help with friends and family in dog care taking, dogs and cats are one of my true passions! My schedule varies, but I always try my best to be open. Most weekends I am free. Some weekdays as well. It all depends. I am a co parent. I treat every pet like they’re part of the family. I follow the owner’s normal routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications or special instructions. I’m patient, attentive, and make sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away.

About: I have had cats my entire life, sometimes multiple cats at once. I bought my own cat when I was 10 and did the best I could to care for her. She lived to be over 20 years old. I have cat sat and dog sat for friends and family members. I have training in behavior therapy and understand the importance of positive praise as well as being consistent with demands. I currently work full time as a child and family therapist. However I work from home two days per week. I am also available most weekends when needed. I have grown up with cats my entire life and currently live with two labs and own a cat of my own. She has had some medical issues and it was very important for me to take care of her during this time. I have experience giving her medication of different forms and make sure her litter box is clean. She always has fresh water and many toys (mostly homemade because that’s her favorite) to play with. She also loves to play hide and seek.

About: I've walked dogs before, but I am not as experienced with dogs as I am with cats, however, I like dogs and hope to get more experience caring for them. I currently attend university, I'm also a student athlete, but I'd love to make some extra cash and I really love animals. I am studying animal behavior at school. For both cats and dogs, I will do whatever asked of you in terms of how often to feed them, take them out, medicate them, etc. However my schedule is very busy and I might not be able to go to your house multiple times a day.
