Open on Saturday & Sunday. My professional pet sitting + dog walking company "Teacher's Pet Sitting Service" began in 2006 in Manchester, NH, + moved to the seacoast serving a client base of countless pets + I'm broadening my services on Rover to reach more clients. My greatest strength is dog walking + dog training. I have been mentored by top respected dog trainers which has helped me ensure that dogs stay engaged, safe, calm, & well managed. No behavior, size, or breed is too challenging for me due to my understanding of dog body language + calm management that have helped dogs feel confident + comfortable. I can even help you troubleshoot common behaviors such as chronic barking, pulling, etc, + do private training in your home! When we meet we will review all of the details for their care, take a tour of your home to learn where their food, bowls, litter boxes, etc, are located & we will review their routine. With me, I will not rush through the visits. In fact, you'll likely learn that I will stay a bit longer if your pets need extra TLC! I know how important & reassuring it is to have ongoing communication & detailed notes & multiple pictures so that is prioritized for your peace of mind! Due to 22 years of experience + travel expenses, my BASE rate for ONE dog is $35.00 if clients live outside of South Berwick. Rates will be calculated on your location. Providing service in my South Berwick hometown, Eliot, Rollinsford, + Dover but there may be exceptions to travel further so please ask! I adjust my schedule according to your pet's schedule as closely as possible. ✔️When your dog is triggered by other dogs, people, etc, I will reverse directions or cross the street to avoid any reactivity. ✔️ Under NO circumstances, I will not take your dog to "say hi" to dogs or people including the mailman for safety + liability. ✔️Dogs must be indoors in between visits for safety reasons. ✔️Slow & safe exits out of doorways to ensure that dogs do not escape. ✔️I do not take dogs to the dog park for liability and safety reasons. ✔️I do not leave dogs out in the yard in-between visits due to possible injury, escapes, weather concerns, anxiety, etc. ✔️ All cats must be indoors

About: My earliest memory was of adopting my first dog, a Weimaraner we named Halle. Since then, caring for dogs has been a staple part of my life. Few things are as exciting to me as meeting a new dog and learning all about their habits. I've sitted small and medium sized dogs of neighbors and family members for the last 10 years or so. I can handle dogs of any age, but I have lots of experience with senior dogs. Additionally, I've been trained by a veterinarian to supply IV fluids as well as administer other kinds of medication effectively such as pills or liquids. If your pet needs this extra care, I can provide it. I work remotely, so I can spend my work days keeping your dog company while you are away. I am unavailable Monday evenings, but otherwise I am available for drop ins any day of the week. Making your dog feel comfortable and safe is my top priority task. The second most important task is being respectful of my client's property while caring for pets in their home. I know the anxious feeling of leaving your pet with someone else, so I will strive to earn your trust so you can focus on enjoying your time out of town. Additionally, I always perform leash/collar checks to ensure they are securely fastened.

About: Hello there! My name is Kevin. I am an animal lover working remotely with a flexible schedule. I can work from anywhere with a good internet connection. I will be there for your pets as needed and keep you informed about the experience. My sister also works from Rover and she communicated that there was a need for local and committed dog walkers in the Somersworth/Dover area. What a great idea! If you're looking for a local dog walker who can commit to walks or drop-ins around set days every week, I'm happy to help with that. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. If the stay is from Monday to Friday, I only need a strong internet connection to work remotely. ~ WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT ~ We will review anything you'd like before you leave, and I will do my best to accommodate. Below I will outline what to expect from each service to reduce confusion: ~HOUSESITTING The housesitting rate covers you for 24 hours. I would be coming to your home to watch over it and care for your pet(s) most hours of the day + overnight. I can also water your plants, check your mail, receive packages, and do light cleaning – whatever you need! - One to three walks/day or a few potty breaks in the yard for dogs - Clean cat litter box - Feed + water them - Play + cuddle with them - Pic or video updates -Meet and Greets Before any house sitting, I’d like to have a meet and greet to make sure we are a good fit. Long-distant meet + greets $25 for 10–20 miles away $50 for 20–45 miles away Let’s set something up if you’re interested! ~DROP-IN VISITS I will be dropping by for 30-60 minutes to check in on your pet(s): - Let dogs out for a potty break - Clean cat litter box - Feed + water them - Play + cuddle with them - Pic or video updates ~DOG WALKING I would be coming to your house to take your dog(s) for a 30 - 60-minute walk in your neighborhood.

About: I have been dog sitting for others for 4 years now and have had cats and dogs most of my life! I am an avid pet lover and love helping out pet parents care for their fur babies. I have trained basic skills, potty trained and crate trained dogs. I am no longer offering boarding or house sitting as I have a new needy roommate, (pictured on my profile) Daisy 🌼 I am a recent graduate student and work part time in the mental health field. My schedule is fairly flexible and I am able to be home often if needed for a pet. I am a good fit for dogs/cats that are able to manage 6 hours alone for days I have to work! About: I have spent lots of time with elderly dogs and cats, and I love ensuring they have the consistent care they need while their humans are away. I have also worked with young pets who are house or litter box training. I also love fish, rodents, and reptiles!
