I adjust my schedule according to your pet's schedule as closely as possible. ✔️When your dog is triggered by other dogs, people, etc, I will reverse directions or cross the street to avoid any reactivity. ✔️ Under NO circumstances, I will not take your dog to "say hi" to dogs or people including the mailman for safety + liability. ✔️Dogs must be indoors in between visits for safety reasons. ✔️Slow & safe exits out of doorways to ensure that dogs do not escape. ✔️I do not take dogs to the dog park for liability and safety reasons. ✔️I do not leave dogs out in the yard in-between visits due to possible injury, escapes, weather concerns, anxiety, etc. ✔️ All cats must be indoors

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I have taken care of my own dogs as well as friends and neighbors. I have experience with labs, golden retrievers, German shepherds, Rottweilers, and pit bulls mostly but love all dogs. I currently work full time Monday-Friday but would love to help people with walking their pets/letting them out after work or on the weekends. I can’t have pets in my apartment and greatly miss interacting with dogs! I am very respectful of other people’s homes. I am clean and appreciate instructions/rules on where food, collars/leashes, treats, etc are. I will keep your furry companions company, provide long walks, and scratches of course!

About: I've taken care of friends & family's dogs for the past 10 years, however for the past year and a half I've been a certified foster with The Grateful Dog rescue. My first foster, a two year old bulldog mix I had for 10 months. With her we learned leash training and manners/boundaries with other dogs. My second foster, was a 7 month old pitbull mix who ended up being a medical foster that I had for 5 months. With her, we learned house training, leash training, muzzle training, crate training, and basic commands. She was also extremely anxious and fearful with other dogs & people, so we did a TON of work to get her ready for getting adopted into a new environment. My last foster, was a two year old bulldog who needed a space with a structure and a schedule to help with his anxiety of being re-homed twice. Due to my apartment, I'm no longer able to foster, however I've taken on the role of event coordinator which often involves handling anxious/nervous pups in the high energy environment of adoption events. I've been missing the dog snuggles and walks and joined Rover to help fill that void. I'm currently working full time, Monday-Friday. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday I work 9am - 5:30 pm. on Thursdays I work 11:30am - 8 pm. I Currently work remotely which allows for a lot of flexibility in making dog sitting/walking work. When it comes to going on walks, I have experience with strong dogs who pull on the leash, reactive dogs (both positive and negative reactions to other dogs and people) and muzzle training/wearing. I have experience with crate training, as the rescue that I fostered with requires that all of their dogs be crate trained.

About: My earliest memory was of adopting my first dog, a Weimaraner we named Halle. Since then, caring for dogs has been a staple part of my life. Few things are as exciting to me as meeting a new dog and learning all about their habits. I've sitted small and medium sized dogs of neighbors and family members for the last 10 years or so. I can handle dogs of any age, but I have lots of experience with senior dogs. Additionally, I've been trained by a veterinarian to supply IV fluids as well as administer other kinds of medication effectively such as pills or liquids. If your pet needs this extra care, I can provide it. I work remotely, so I can spend my work days keeping your dog company while you are away. I am unavailable Monday evenings, but otherwise I am available for drop ins any day of the week. Making your dog feel comfortable and safe is my top priority task. The second most important task is being respectful of my client's property while caring for pets in their home. I know the anxious feeling of leaving your pet with someone else, so I will strive to earn your trust so you can focus on enjoying your time out of town. Additionally, I always perform leash/collar checks to ensure they are securely fastened.

Below I will outline what to expect from each service to reduce confusion: ~HOUSESITTING The housesitting rate covers you for 24 hours. I would be coming to your home to watch over it and care for your pet(s) most hours of the day + overnight. I can also water your plants, check your mail, receive packages, and do light cleaning – whatever you need! - One to three walks/day or a few potty breaks in the yard for dogs - Clean cat litter box - Feed + water them - Play + cuddle with them - Pic or video updates -Meet and Greets Before any house sitting, I’d like to have a meet and greet to make sure we are a good fit.
