~ Scheduling: I book every four out of five client requests on average. As long as you have flexibility for a visit/walk time, I most likely am able to fit a new or returning customer into my schedule. More than half of my current customers return as repeat customers based on my scheduling practices that allow me to continue caring for their pets and grow a relationship with them over time. Safety is what sets me apart from other bargain rates you may find on Rover. I always have my full concentration on your pet(s). I do not engage in distracting behaviors while walking dogs such as texting, having phone conversations, or using headphones while caring for your dog. Dogs have many behaviors a skilled pet caregiver can pick up on from signs of anxiety to distress. I do not socialize your dogs(s) with other dogs or strangers, and I will review any safety concerns you as a pet owner have regarding a pet’s home or neighborhood. I have been complemented countless times regarding my professionalism between pet owners watching me on their in-home/outdoor security cameras to neighbors who are friends of the pet parents I am serving.

I will discuss how your pet(s) expected behavior while I care for them, how they interact with other animals, details about your neighborhood if appropriate, problematic neighboring animals (whether inside or outside), and specific medical/medicine care I will need to provide if applicable. I will also want to know if they have specific ways they like to be fed if applicable, owner-provided special treats, and food allergies.
A typical day
Every day is different for me when it comes to my booked customers. I have Rover and private bookings for people in Independent Living facilities, working professionals, people travelling for work or vacation, those who love taking frequent day trips, to people who have impaired mobility that rely on me to get their pets the exercise they need. Each pet has their own idea of fun I engage them with, from brisk walks, playing fetch in a fenced yard, favorite toys in a home, to simply being held because they miss their pet parents or are older and just want to feel loved.
