Pet care experience

Experienced, high energy sitter!

Welcome to life on the farm! Your animals will love having the opportunity to romp around in our big fields and smell all of the new smells. We lost our two adopted dogs in 2024 at the ripe old ages of 17 and 14 and have not brought any new dogs into our home. I have volunteered at animal shelters and worked in a veterinary setting with large animals (horses mostly!) I have a degree in animal sciences. House-sitting guarantees a minimum of 3 visits in a day plus overnight care if you would like. It is not a 24-hour in home service.

My first experience using Rover to find a pet sitter worked out wonderfully. Noreen was a great choice and was very accommodating to my sometimes anxious labradoodle. She stuck to Leia’s “schedule” while fitting in long walks and visiting Noreen’s family farm. I highly recommend her services and hope to reserve her again for an overnight stay. You are truly appreciated Noreen!

Noreen had great communication and sent lots of photos while we were away for a few days. Good communication is really important to us while someone is watching our dogs because it helps with peace of mind. We have two dogs (a shepherd and a mallinois) who can be easy, but also challenging at times. Noreen handled them really well. We would absolutely recommend her and will be using her again in the future.

This is the second Noreen has watched our 3 year old pup, Faye, and we cannot speak high enough about her. She's very responsive, gives great updates, and sends plenty of pictures. Noreen always takes care of Faye exactly as we asked her too and asks questions when she has them. Noreen is a fantastic dog sitter and we would recommend her to anyone!

Noreen was terrific! She was kind, communicative, and great with our older dog who needs a little more TLC. Our pups came home happy and adjusted quickly, which is always a sign that they were taken care of. I will definitely be turning to Noreen again!

Noreen took great care of our dog Maddy! She kept us informed each day, including pictures. Noreen was very accommodating when our drop off and pick up times changed. We will definitely book again.

Safety, trust & environment

I love to run, so if you have a high-energy dog, then reach out to me! We can wear each other out. Our home is dog friendly with a large fenced in yard with indoor access for dogs that prefer to make their own indoor/outdoor schedule. We love to have pups and cats snuggle on the couch with us or play in our large yard. We have farm animals, lots of new smells and places to explore!

A typical day

I like to take a daily run, or walk, and go exploring on the beach or local walking trails. Our home is very pet-friendly inside and out!

I do have children and their safety is a priority. Dogs and cats must be friendly. We can always discuss special accommodations ahead of time for animals that would need their own space.
