With over 10 years of pet sitting experience, I've cared for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and small mammals, and I'm comfortable handling pets of all kinds. When I'm not caring for pets, you'll usually find me curled up in a book. If you are looking for someone who treats every pet like family, I may be the right pet sitter for you! I am available before and after work as well as midday on days off. A typical drop-in visit is around 30 minutes and includes feeding, walking, potty, and anything else your pet may need. Every pet and their family is different, which is why no visit looks the same. I am flexible and willing to provide whatever you and your family may need while you are away, including getting mail, putting trash out, opening/closing blinds, switching lights, etc. I am also a huge fan of sending updates after each visit along with photos of your pet!

About: I have a life time of experience. I grew up helping my mom take care of peoples animals. Farm animals, birds, dogs, cats. A special skill of mine is training dogs. I currently work part time Monday-Friday, that gives me the ability to have a bunch of playtime on the weekends. I will also be available weekdays after 5:30 I have a small fenced in yard, and land to explorer weather your dog is off leash or on leash there is a place to play for everyone. I have crates incase your dog needs a break/nap. I also have baby gates to ensure everyone is safe in my care.

She sent multiple pictures each day, stayed with Maggie longer than the minimum time to comfort and support her, and properly fed and watered her. About: I'm currently a Pre-Veterinary student at University of New Hampshire and currently work at a local veterinary clinic. As a veterinary assistant I have gained experience with animal handling and care. I am also Fear Free Certified and know had to adequately prevent fear, anxiety, and stress in both cats and dogs. I have previously worked at a training facility and am familiar with certain signals and behaviors that animals demonstrate to express themselves. I have owned cats and dogs my entire life and have been exposed to many types of breeds, species, and seen interesting cases regarding animal health. When I'm not at school I take care of my two dogs and cats at home. Furthermore, I work part-time at a veterinary clinic at school and at home so I am constantly surrounded by animals and have exposure to many cases. I previously owned a diabetic cat and learned how to administer insulin shots and monitor her glucose levels multiple times a day. I feed and water my animals in my home at least twice a day, snacks are often provided as well. I walk my dogs as much as necessary (typically twice a day). I always play with my cats and dogs. I have a kitten who loves playing fetch with toy mice and a 5 year old dog who enjoys hiking trips and swimming. The two dogs get groomed when needed but I brush them consistently in between grooms. Finally, I am responsible when it comes to my animals' health and notice any changes in behavior or appearance almost immediately. I find it important to keep them up to date with vaccines and any other medications they need.

About: I have taken care of pets, including dogs, cats and farm animals, since I was a small child. I currently have two active dogs, one of which has epilepsy and requires multiple daily meds, therefore I have a great deal of experience keeping up with medication schedules and administering appropriate meds. I trained one of my own dogs to be a therapy dog and we are a current therapy team. My husband and I travel with our dogs whenever we can, but sometimes it's not possible to take them. Because of this I easily understand the importance of finding pet care givers who we can trust and rely on. I am a responsible, retired professional looking to help give others that peace of mind. I retired from my full time career a year ago and in general have flexibility to pet sit at any time. My husband takes care of our own pets when I am away. I will manage care for your pets according to your wishes, including walking, playing, giving medications, crating, etc. I will give them kisses and cuddles if they allow it and will enjoy getting to know them and their personalities.
