We had such a great experience! Felicia was incredibly accommodating and flexible, making the whole process easy and stress-free. I really appreciated the daily updates and photos. Gave us peace of mind and made us feel like our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It was clear that Felicia genuinely cared about Stella and treated her like her own. We highly recommend Felicia and will absolutely book again! Thank you Felicia 😊

James and his family were very gracious and flexible. We were initially a bit reticent because our Wally can sometimes be inpatient with young children. James went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. It sounds like Wally had a grand time and fit in well. Wally was very relaxed when we picked him up. We hope that we can work with James and family in the future!

Bessa had another great time at Sheila’s and Dakotas house. Sheila took her for walks and awesome trip to pierce island dog park. I always know Bessa will have a great time and get lots of loving at Sheila’s. She shares lots of pics and videos during her stay too.

Jennifer is an absolute gem. Our pup had fun playing with her and Jennifer made sure to call both the emergency vet and us when he got into some cupcakes. She was just as worried about his well being as us and kept watch. You can count on her to be responsible and take care of your precious furry family members!

About: I’m a newly retired teacher and former principal that loves my doggies! Over the years, I’ve had so much love from my very special friends. Would love to give and get some loves from your treasured family member. I literally live in the middle of Stratham Hill Park and I love to walk. Only one “little guy” at a time…🥰 I’m loving my retirement and have lots of time and love to give. I have some scheduled exercise classes in the mornings but always home by 10:30. I’ve had so many dogs over the years. Routine visits to the vet are mandatory and walking, playing, and interacting with my friends are essential. I’m also very familiar with dogs with anxiety. One needs to approach this in a calm and careful way and watch the signs for anxiety coming on and be able to respond with love and kindness. Living right in the middle of Stratham Hill Park, I have easy access to the walking trails. Because I don’t know your dog, they will never be off leash but will be outside often during the day!! I love to walk. 🥰 I have a lovely crate IF your dog prefers this quiet space, but I will not be crating unless you ask me to. Typically my 11 year old grandson will come by after school to snuggle, play and go for a walk with me and your pup!

Kelsey was very accommodating of my dog Nemo, who isn't always a fan of other dogs, so she made sure he was the only dog staying with her at the time! She was very communicative as well and sent many photos, which was much appreciated. I definitely recommend Kelsey to care for your pets while you are away!

Jude was amazing with our little Minnie. He met and welcomed her in the driveway and he allowed her time to get adjusted to her new environment. Minnie spent 3 nights at Jude which we were very nervous about as we have never did in home boarding. Jude provided updates and pictures throughout her stay. Jude has an amazing home and large yard. He is nurturing and caring to all of Minnie”s needs. I highly recommend him for an overnight/boarding stay. Tracy

Just retrieved Mercy from her stay with Slywia and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect caregiver. Loving, kind and fun. Sylwia sent us pics and videos thru the 5 days and Mercy got plenty of exercise and seems to have really enjoyed playing with River and Deshi. It makes leaving Mercy so much easier to know she is with a loving family. Thank you?

Krystyna & Sara are AWESOME!! If you have a dog that needs to board somewhere, you don't have to second guess leaving it with these two great hosts!! My pup was EXHAUSTED after picking him up, the house dog Bernie, did a great job matching Whiskey's energy and wore him out. He's still catching up on his sleep the next day! LOL. We even found out that he's good with cats! I will be boarding my dog there again next month. A++++++. experience.

Emily is the sweetest person ever!!! She went above and beyond and made sure my pup had the best stay ever! I am new to the city and to Rover and was very uneasy at first on having someone new watch Kingston for me but Emily reassured me everything would be ok. Emily kept me update everyday throughout the day with videos and pictures of Kingston. He absolutely loved playing with her boys and I could tell he was in great hands. I could tell Emily and her family was giving him a lot of love and he felt right at home. I will definitely be booking Emily again as she made this the easiest process ever and was very considerate of my mine and Kingston’s needs. Thank you for everything!❤️

Veska is wonderful! My dog Bennie stayed with Veska for a week and she took great care of him. Veska is gentle and kind, and Bennie loves her. She and her husband and son made Bennie part of the family, and even let him sleep in their bed, which is what he is used to at home. Veska followed directions I had left regarding feeding, walks, etc. She also went above and beyond by brushing him and even gave him a bath. He looked better when I picked him up than when I had dropped him off. I highly recommend Veska for safe loving dog care.

Shana took wonderful care of my 4 month year puppy, and I couldn’t recommend her more. As a new pet owner, I was worried being away from my pup, but Shana made this experience super easy. She sent regular updates and photos, and Sancho seemed to have a wonderful time. When I need to board again, I’ll choose Shana and I recommend you do as well.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Pet Boarding in Greenland on Rover is $72.15 per night (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Boarding easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Boarding. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 666 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Greenland. About 91% of Greenland sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
