About: I’m a newly retired teacher and former principal that loves my doggies! Over the years, I’ve had so much love from my very special friends. Would love to give and get some loves from your treasured family member. I literally live in the middle of Stratham Hill Park and I love to walk. Only one “little guy” at a time…🥰 I’m loving my retirement and have lots of time and love to give. I have some scheduled exercise classes in the mornings but always home by 10:30. I’ve had so many dogs over the years. Routine visits to the vet are mandatory and walking, playing, and interacting with my friends are essential. I’m also very familiar with dogs with anxiety. One needs to approach this in a calm and careful way and watch the signs for anxiety coming on and be able to respond with love and kindness. Living right in the middle of Stratham Hill Park, I have easy access to the walking trails. Because I don’t know your dog, they will never be off leash but will be outside often during the day!! I love to walk. 🥰 I have a lovely crate IF your dog prefers this quiet space, but I will not be crating unless you ask me to. Typically my 11 year old grandson will come by after school to snuggle, play and go for a walk with me and your pup!

“I cannot speak more highly of Eric and his sweet family! They kept my dog while I had a week long work event in Boston, and they took fantastic care of her. They sent me regular photos and they promptly answered any nervous mama questions I sent their way. We were worried about her getting spooked by the fireworks over the holiday weekend, and Eric and his fam took lots of precaution to make sure she was safe and happy. The pups that live with them are sweet and they got along great with my dog. I will be booking with them again if we're ever in the area!”

About: I'm an animal lover and have grown up with all types of animals. I have been trusted taking care of neighbors, friends, and families pets for many years. My sister is a veterinarian so I often get the pet questions. I will go above and beyond for your pet. I work from home Monday and Tuesday so I am free to go for walks and drop by your house most of the time these days. I am in the office Wednesday through Friday and will have less time but still available. Weekends are free unless I'm away. I live on an acre of land. It is not a fully fenced yard but it is set back in a small, quiet neighborhood on a dead end road. I have an indoor cat.

Our home is currently pet free, which allows us to give each dog our full attention in a peaceful and low stress setting. Since there are usually two adults at home and one of us works a hybrid schedule, there is almost always someone home to provide companionship, supervision, affection, playtime, and frequent potty breaks throughout the day. Dogs have always been an important part of our lives, and caring for them is something we genuinely love and enjoy. We understand that every dog has different routines, personalities, and comfort levels, so we do our best to help them feel safe, settled, and emotionally comfortable while away from home. Because we only host one household at a time, we are able to dedicate more individualized care, quality time, attention, and companionship to each dog throughout the day. Safety, supervision, and communication are very important to us. We are very mindful of each dog’s routine, comfort level, feeding schedule, potty schedule, exercise needs, and any instructions provided by their family. We understand that every dog adjusts differently to new environments, so we always try to create a positive and comfortable transition while respecting their personality, boundaries, and pace. We also value consistency and communication, and we make sure pet parents receive regular updates and photos throughout each stay so they can feel reassured while away.
