About: Ive worked as a kennel technician for over 10 years and truly know what it means to care for animals professionally and personally. I know every dog in the kennel by name and take pride in understanding each pets unique personality and needs. I have studied animal behavior and am experienced with everything from shy, anxious pups to reactive or high energy pups. I also have hands on experience with a variety of health issue dog and am very in tuned with changes in behavior and health conditions. Your pets safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I work full time 7-3:30 Monday through Friday. I am available for walks anytime after 3:30 & completely open in the weekends. Our two dogs and two cats are great with visitors so we can take boarders anytime. I am willing to house sit but not for longer stays. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. With over 10 years of kennel and animal handling experience, I provide structured, supervised care tailored to each dog’s individual needs and personality. Dogs enjoy enriching nature walks and adventure outings with safe travel accommodations including secured seatbelt leashes and a comfortable transport setup. During meals and rest times, dogs can be safely separated using gates to ensure a calm, stress-free environment. My home also features a gated wrap-around deck for supervised outdoor time, play, fresh air, and relaxation in a secure setting. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, reactive, or simply loves adventure, I focus on creating a safe, patient, and positive experience from start to finish.

“Can I give a 15 Star Review? This was my first time with Madison watching my cat. My cat, who won't even sit on MY lap was in her lap! Clearly a cat-person! But that is not the best part of Madison. We were away for 10 days on a cruise in the middle of a snow storm and very cold weather. Madison noticed it was cold in the house and let me know. As we were trying to trouble shoot, she rebooted my NEST twice and recharged it! Digger was in totally awesome hands! Madison went truly above and beyond, including checking on my cat extra to make sure the heat was still on. Can't tell you how great it was to have her looking after my soft furry friend!”

About: Hi! my name is Ally! I have grown up with dogs my whole life, from Dalmatians to Jack Russell’s. I started volunteering at the NHSPCA in high school and discovered my love for helping & animals. I am a registered nurse and looking to fuel my hobby spending time with animals. I currently work full time in Dover, NH and bring my dog Poppy into the office with me. My family had a 12 year old blind Jack Russell named Sherman who was not friendly to other animals while we were growing up, so I am used to dogs on the more complicated side. I believe every animal deserves love and attention and I hope to provide that! My schedule is flexible on the weekends. I work full time but am home by 5pm so ai can do evenings as well. I love to keep animals in their routines. Even if it’s just being with them at home. I am a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter who cares a considerable amount for all animals. About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats my entire life, with most of my pets coming from shelters and rescues. This experience has given me a strong appreciation for different temperaments, routines, and comfort levels. Currently, I live with my partner Caley (also on Rover!) and an 8 year old domestic shorthair cat named Barnett. We reside in walking distance of North Beach in Hampton. I primarily work from home, which gives me excellent flexibility for walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. I am in the office a day or two, but am typically able to shift days in order accommodate walks. I take safety seriously and treat every pet as if they were my own. I follow all care instructions closely, use secure equipment, and tailor walks to each pet’s needs. When beach routes are used, dogs are kept leashed and closely supervised, with attention to weather, tides, and comfort. My goal is always a safe, positive experience for every pet.

“Laurie was wonderful! We booked her for a few days worth of drop-in visits with our 1 year old dog Luna (40-lb border collie mix). We've only had Luna for 4 months (rescue) and she is incredibly timid and loud around strangers in the house. We were worried going into the weekend that we might even have to cancel our trip because Luna has been unmanageable by just about everyone we've tried to get to walk her. And even with us, on walks she is easily distracted and will try to chase everything from squirrels to grasshoppers. It can be a challenge for non-family to even get close enough to get a leash on her. Laurie was so kind and patient with Luna, and spent so much time with her to gain her trust. She proved fully capable of leashing Luna and bringing her on long walks. We will definitely be booking Laurie again! (provided she would be willing!)”

About: I love dogs and have a beautiful almost 9 yo 1/2 Lab 1/2 GSP of my own who I fostered and then adopted February 2018; she will gladly keep your dog company and busy playing at my home. I have a large fenced in back yard 2 miles from downtown Portsmouth with plenty of room for the dogs to play and run around in. I am recently retired from Corp Amer, and am home with the dogs so they won’t be left alone. I will only take up to 3 dogs (dogs must be over 2 years of age and show zero signs of any aggression) in at a time for day care and 1 or 2 for boarding so your dog will get plenty of love and one on one attention. My prices may be a little bit higher than other people on this app, but that is because I’m only taking one or two dogs at a time and your dog is getting 1:1 care versus being in a rowdy kennel type environment with several dogs around. You can rest assured knowing I will care for your pets better than most. When I am walking your dog, I will engage with them, give them loads of attention, and will not be looking at/reading my phone. There are toys and tennis balls for them to play with in the yard and they will be let out every 2 hours for potty breaks and play, and can lounge around on the couches if they feel like it too. If they are 100% trained with recall, we go for 2 off leash trail enrichment hikes/ walks per day, otherwise they can be walked on leash around my neighborhood. At bed time, I play soft spa like music so the pups can sleep well and comfortable. I would like to have a meet and greet with all dogs and owners before they board at my home. My daycare rates are for up to 8 hours per day. If you drop your dog off at 8:30am, the dog must be picked up by 4:30pm otherwise you will be charged an additional half day rate. Latest pickup is 6:30pm. After 6:30pm it becomes an overnight. Drop offs must be before 6pm. I cater to dogs that need a little extra support and don’t do well in a chaotic kennel environment, which is why it is more of a “boutique “style service. (1:1) At the most, I might pop out for an hour but the dogs will not be left alone for more than an hour or 2 max. I have a large crate here if your dogs likes to be crated. I am not currently housesitting, only taking dogs in at my home. I do not book out months in advance. I generally only book out 1-2 months in advance. I am now currently only booking through Oct 2026. I let the dogs out every couple of hours for potty breaks and play. I will only take in 2-3 dogs max for daycare at a time and one or two dogs at a time for overnights, as to not overwhelm any of the dogs. This is a relaxed stress free environment for the dogs. I do not take in any dogs that show any signs of aggression.

I've always gravitated towards animals; I was that kid who brought home any animal that crossed my path, feeding strays, foresting. Growing up in a home where the pet to human ratio always favored pets, pet sitting is second nature to me. My experience administering medication I've done my fair share of administering medication to all sorts of animals. I am able to administer oral, injections, topical ointments, as well as suppositories. I currently work a dual remote position at NHPBS and have the flexibility to work from home which allows me ample time to provide the attention and care your pet requires. I’ll be an extension of your home and care. The goal is to provide a safe environment where your pet feels loved and has an enjoyable stay until your return.

About: I have always grown up with dogs all around me. My mom is a dog lover so we always had 1-3 dogs in the house at all times! I have a full time job during the week, 9-5 Monday through Friday, so I am looking to help on the weekends! I am available for drop in visits at any time on Saturdays and Sundays. About: Kristine and Eric have loved and had animals our entire life. I have always helped care for pets, even as a child. Eric was raised on a farm, caring for many different kinds of animals- waking up before dawn to ensure that all animals were properly cared for and had what they needed for the day whether it be rain, shine, snow, sleet, hot, or cold. We, together, have two dogs. They are both around 10 years old and are rescues. We also have 6 chickens. Our home has a door from the downstairs to the upstairs. When dogs are home during the day and if left alone for 1 hour or so they stay downstairs with access to water, comfy couches, and dog bed areas. When we are home they have free run of the home. We also have a crate for dogs that may need a private, safe space. We have a back yard that our dog enjoys playing in, but just so you know it is not fenced in, therefore dogs remain leashed when in the back yard. We do have a deck that is closed off in the backyard where dogs can be left unleashed to hang out, but always supervised when out there. We also have a 15 year old daughter who loves animals. She assists with the care of our dogs and we have fostered a few dogs in the past from various shelters and she is always eager to assist with making these dogs feel comfortable and give them love. She volunteers at a local animal shelter with small mammals and takes care of the chickens I work full time during the school year for a school district. Eric works from home. Eric takes dogs for a number of walks per day including walks to the local dog park (Rogers Park) and to local beaches for exercise and socialization. I am home by 3:30 pm and bring my dogs (and other dogs) for exercise either running, hiking, or walking. In the summer I am mostly around. I also grew up with cats and with both have experience with cats and providing meds to cats, including insulin shots. I work full time and Eric works part to full time but we can walk dogs in the evening and walk dogs throughout the day on the weekends. I have summers off as I work in a school. I will not be offering care in my home, but am excited to take care of your pet and walk your dog and take your dog on adventures.

About: I’ve been a cat owner all my life! That means raising some from kittens, as well as caring for some into hospice. I spent the last 2 years as a vet assistant working with dogs & cats, while pet sitting on the side. I am open to drop-in visits or walks, as well as overnight stays. Let me know what works best for your pet while you’re away! With pet sitting I find it best practice to first visit your pet’s space to know what is typical behavior for them i.e where do they sleep, where might they hide etc. Each day I provide updates and photos for ease of mind that your pets are in good hands!

About: I have had my dog for over 9 years. She is very good with others. I have a fenced in backyard, and a doggy door of the screened porch. When we are home during the day in good temperatures, the door to the house will be open giving dogs the freedom of where they want to relax or play. I am currently a stay at home Mom to my wonderful twins therefore I have a pretty flexible schedule I can work around, especially if it avoids the kids naps. I have a fenced in backyard that is connected to the house via a screened in porch so there are many options of where to hang out. At night everyone is inside.

About: I graduated from college with a degree in Veterinary Technology. I currently work at vet hospital in Maine. I have been with animals all my life. And have two of my own. I work full time so during the week days afternoon potty time will be hard but if they can handle over 6+ hours of being alone then it will work perfectly. I would care for your animal at your house so it will be easier on your animal and not be anxious when at a new place. I will give them lots of cuddles and love. I treat them like they are my own. We will play all sorts of games too.
