During the stay we can tell our pup had the BEST time, thanks to the great daily pics and communication from Mercis. We were almost worried she wouldn’t want to come home, she loved Mercis’ place so much. 😅 Puppies this young are A LOT of work and Mercis loved and cared for our little girl like she was her own all weekend and even worked on some of her training while we were away. We will definitely be contacting Mercis in the future when we need someone to board Bloo! 🥰”
“Our first boarding experience couldn’t have gone better. He accommodated us last minute when a family member backed out of house sitting. More importantly I learned commercial places leave the dogs unattended after business hours so finding Donnie with his in property boarding was a blessing to us. We actually plan to begin some dog training with Donnie, as he told us our dogs were great but could use a little work, lol. We have to playful spoiled pups, Wesley 5.4lbs mixed yorkie and Pablo 40+ lbs golden doodle both under a year. Neither dogs showed any signs of concerns at pick up as well as following the pick up. About: I've had large dogs my entire life, including a special needs dog and police-trained K9 dogs. I have owned and operated a farm hotel in Brazil for the past 5 years, where I was the primary responsible for all daily care, injections, medical treatments and behavioral work with the animals (5 large dogs and multiple farm animals), so am very comfortable administering any special care your animal may need. I have also rescued & fostered nearly a dozen dogs from the street and helped them find forever homes. I love all animals and understand each one is different with unique personalities. The pics on my profile are from my farm. I work from home which allows me to always be present to keep your pet company, and love taking small cuddle, walk and play breaks throughout the day to break up my desk routine. Having extra dogs is the perfect excuse to stretch my legs! I live alone in a spacious apartment downtown Portsmouth where I can board up to 2 large dogs or 3 small dogs at a time. I am only a 5min walk from the Mill Pond dog park and can take your dog for several walks throughout the day. I can also crate your dog if they prefer it. I can administer medication and provide any special treatment necessary. I treat all pets as my own, like members of my family.
