About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats my entire life, with most of my pets coming from shelters and rescues. This experience has given me a strong appreciation for different temperaments, routines, and comfort levels. Currently, I live with my partner Caley (also on Rover!) and an 8 year old domestic shorthair cat named Barnett. We reside in walking distance of North Beach in Hampton. I primarily work from home, which gives me excellent flexibility for walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. “Laurie was wonderful! We booked her for a few days worth of drop-in visits with our 1 year old dog Luna (40-lb border collie mix). We've only had Luna for 4 months (rescue) and she is incredibly timid and loud around strangers in the house. We were worried going into the weekend that we might even have to cancel our trip because Luna has been unmanageable by just about everyone we've tried to get to walk her. And even with us, on walks she is easily distracted and will try to chase everything from squirrels to grasshoppers. It can be a challenge for non-family to even get close enough to get a leash on her. Laurie was so kind and patient with Luna, and spent so much time with her to gain her trust. She proved fully capable of leashing Luna and bringing her on long walks. We will definitely be booking Laurie again! (provided she would be willing!)”

About: Without exception, the dog park is always one of the best parts of my day. I've had three dogs of my own, and have been around countless other dogs, most of whom instantly become my new best friends. We just gravitate to each other, hence the fuzzy friend whisperer nickname. I have a playful, loving attitude toward every dog I meet. I am also sensitive to dogs who need a little more patience and space to ease into trusting me and respect the boundaries that they need to do that. My training style with my own dogs is focused on positive reinforcement rather than punishment. This approach translates to other dogs as well, unless their owners request differently. Your dog will be in caring, responsible hands with me. They will be loved. Vogel Emergency Vet just opened right across the street from our house, so if anything kind of emergency pops up, your baby will be a hop, skip and a jump away from the care they need. I'm self employed and work mostly from home so my schedule is quite flexible. Sometimes I’ll have drop in visits throughout the day, but if your dog is boarding with me, there will generally be someone else at home with them. They’ll rarely, if ever be left alone. I live on a small farm but also live near a road, so your dog will always be safely on a leash when we go outside for potty breaks. I have a very friendly 12 year old 45lb labradoodle named Huck to keep your baby company in the rare cases that I'm not at home. I have a "squirrel observatory" (bird feeder) right near my workspace so your dog will not only be supervised most of the time but also entertained.

About: Hey there! My name is Caley and I live right by North Beach in Hampton, NH with my fiancé, Garrett. I’m a photographer and a huge animal lover. We don’t have a dog of our own just yet, but I grew up with massive, drooly dogs (Great Pyrenees and Newfoundlands), so I’m very comfortable handling pups of all shapes and sizes. About: I am an experienced pet sitter that has a small army of my own! I have 3 dogs and 1 cat. I absolutely love animals and would love to help your family in any way possible. My schedule is very flexible in the mornings, i work as a private music teacher from 3-7pm on tuesdays wednesdays and thursdays. All other times in the week I am usually home! About: I've had large dogs my entire life, including a special needs dog and police-trained K9 dogs. I have owned and operated a farm hotel in Brazil for the past 5 years, where I was the primary responsible for all daily care, injections, medical treatments and behavioral work with the animals (5 large dogs and multiple farm animals), so am very comfortable administering any special care your animal may need. I have also rescued & fostered nearly a dozen dogs from the street and helped them find forever homes. I love all animals and understand each one is different with unique personalities. The pics on my profile are from my farm. I work from home which allows me to always be present to keep your pet company, and love taking small cuddle, walk and play breaks throughout the day to break up my desk routine. Having extra dogs is the perfect excuse to stretch my legs! I live alone in a spacious apartment downtown Portsmouth where I can board up to 2 large dogs or 3 small dogs at a time. I am only a 5min walk from the Mill Pond dog park and can take your dog for several walks throughout the day. I can also crate your dog if they prefer it. I can administer medication and provide any special treatment necessary. I treat all pets as my own, like members of my family.

Kris had us do a meet and greet in advance, and we knew immediately that she would take great care of our dog. She communicated with us every day while we were away with updates on how she was doing. We ended up missing our flight home and needed Kris to keep our dog an additional day, and she was super accommodating.
