My dog is the center of my universe, and I will treat your pup like they were my own! My house is their house, and my furniture is their furniture! My wonderful 9-year-old dog, Cleo, will be happy to keep your furbaby company. She's super friendly, low-energy, and always eager for a cuddle. I have access to a private dog park, an unfenced yard, and easy access to nearby nature trails, parks, and beaches! I can't wait to meet your furbaby!

Please let me know if your furbaby has any special needs, accommodations, or requirements ahead of time to make sure your pup gets everything they need and more! Additionally, please let me know whether your pet is unable to be left alone, or cannot be left alone for more than 1-2 hours. I work with many puppies and dogs who need round-the-clock attention and constant care, which I am happy to provide! Please note that Rover only displays base rates and I charge more each night for pets that need this level of care due to the extra work and time involved. I know many sitters on Rover won't take puppies or dogs who need constant care (and I adore those kinds of pups!), so I'm willing to work with you - just let me know! Please be honest about your dog's needed level of care, so we avoid any unnecessary surprises, accidents, or issues! Thanks!
A typical day
Priority #1 is making your dog comfortable by letting them get fully acquainted with me through patience, play, and lots of pets! Once your dog is fully comfortable with me and my home, and they are ready to stretch their legs, we'll go for a leisurely "sniff walk" or to the nearby private dog park to stimulate their senses with all the excitement of a new place! The rest of our time will be filled with cuddles, doggy playtime, toys, and treats (only the parent-approved ones, of course!)

Dogs were my first love. I've cared for dogs young and old, adopted and fostered dogs, raised puppies, provided training at all ages, and provided post-op and healthcare for unwell dogs. I have extensive experience loving and supporting dogs through their toughest moments, including separation anxiety, phobias, and illnesses. I've walked with pups from all paws of life - all breeds, ages, energies, and personalities - and loved them all!! All dogs are wonderful, and I will never, ever discriminate by breed. As a full-time dog pamperer, I've got plenty of attention, love, toys, and fluffy blankets to keep your furbaby happy and loved while you are away! I will love your dog exactly as they are - high-energy, low-energy, and everything in between. Whether they want endless walks or endless snuggles, I am excited to make your dog's stay an unforgettable getaway just for them! I know how hard it is to trust someone with your best friend. I'm happy to go above and beyond to make you feel confident that your pet is in good hands - from photos and updates to video check-ins. Your comfort matters to me just as much as your furbaby's. Miss Nicki could not be in better hands. Had plenty of updates with pictures and notes on how she was doing. When we picked her up she felt comfortable there as she went back and forth between us and Shana. Nicki and Cleo got along really well.
Shana was a true professional from start to finish. This was my first time using Rover and I wasn’t sure what to expect but she guided me through the process with warmth and patience. She has a clear understanding that each dog is different used that wisdom to ensure our dog Violet had a great introduction to her home and family and a positive experience overall. It was a last minute request and she really saved us! Would definitely call on her again.
Shana was truly an exceptional sitter and we feel so lucky to have found her. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how thoughtful and prepared she was — she even had a clipboard with notes ready, which immediately made us feel comfortable and confident leaving our dog in her care. Throughout the stay she sent so many photos and detailed updates, which we really appreciated. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing exactly how things were going and seeing how happy our dog was. Our pup ended up having a bit of a GI issue while we were away, and Shana handled it with such calm confidence and care. She clearly knows dogs incredibly well and was so composed and knowledgeable in every situation. She even cooked rice and chicken for her to help settle her stomach and kept us updated on how she was doing, which meant so much to us. Shana, her husband Dylan, and their dog Cleo created such a warm, loving environment. It genuinely felt like our dog was being cared for by people who truly understand and love dogs. We are so grateful for the care she gave our pup and would trust Shana with her again in a heartbeat.
I am so glad and grateful that Shana and Dylan watched my pup this week. I could not have asked for anyone better!! I adopted my dog less than two weeks ago and - still getting to know her - had a trip planned and needed to board her for 5 days. I was hoping for someone to treat my dog like their own and Shana and Dylan did just that. In fact, they went above and beyond what I could’ve hoped for - letting her snuggle with them at night, sending me frequent updates and pup pics, going out of their way to pick up beef and rice and cook it for my girl when her stool was soft, and packing the rest to go when I picked her up. Their dog Cleo is a sweetheart, and joined in on the doggy snuggles. I know if I ever need a sitter again I’ll be reaching out to Shana.
