Shana was truly an exceptional sitter and we feel so lucky to have found her. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how thoughtful and prepared she was — she even had a clipboard with notes ready, which immediately made us feel comfortable and confident leaving our dog in her care. Throughout the stay she sent so many photos and detailed updates, which we really appreciated. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing exactly how things were going and seeing how happy our dog was. Our pup ended up having a bit of a GI issue while we were away, and Shana handled it with such calm confidence and care. She clearly knows dogs incredibly well and was so composed and knowledgeable in every situation. She even cooked rice and chicken for her to help settle her stomach and kept us updated on how she was doing, which meant so much to us. Shana, her husband Dylan, and their dog Cleo created such a warm, loving environment. It genuinely felt like our dog was being cared for by people who truly understand and love dogs. We are so grateful for the care she gave our pup and would trust Shana with her again in a heartbeat.

I am so glad and grateful that Shana and Dylan watched my pup this week. I could not have asked for anyone better!! I adopted my dog less than two weeks ago and - still getting to know her - had a trip planned and needed to board her for 5 days. I was hoping for someone to treat my dog like their own and Shana and Dylan did just that. In fact, they went above and beyond what I could’ve hoped for - letting her snuggle with them at night, sending me frequent updates and pup pics, going out of their way to pick up beef and rice and cook it for my girl when her stool was soft, and packing the rest to go when I picked her up. Their dog Cleo is a sweetheart, and joined in on the doggy snuggles. I know if I ever need a sitter again I’ll be reaching out to Shana.

Shana is one of the kindest people I know and a wonderful dog mom. She will care for your pets like her own and give them all of the love and attention they deserve! There’s no one I would trust more with my pets.

Shana is a natural with dogs of all kinds and needs! She frequently cared for my senior toy poodle, Zeus, who needed frequent potty breaks, careful handling, and specific nighttime bathroom and food needs. She always went above and beyond to make him as comfortable as possible when she was with him. At the same time, she cared for my full-sized poodle puppy, Sadie, who is a big, snuggly bundle of energy! She'd get on Sadie's level to play with her and take her for long walks, all while making sure Zeus was safe and sound. Even with dogs of two very different demeanors, sizes, and care needs, she excelled and made them both feel very comfortable. They were always very excited to see her! I honestly couldn't recommend Shana's services enough!

Shane Pike is who you need to hire for your dog walking and pet care. She has an incredible ability to handle high energy dogs with calm confidence, structure, and genuine care. My dog (Luna aka Luna-Tic) is a Husky-Lab… so that should say it all! Luna comes back from walks happy, exercised, and well behaved, which speaks volumes about Shana’s skill and experience. If that wasn’t enough, what truly sets Shana apart is how effortlessly she can manage a busy, multi pet household. Balancing a high-energy 100lb+ dog with an attitude, while also being attentive and respectful of our cats (who, let’s be honest, run my house), is no small task, yet Shana does it seamlessly. Every animal is treated as a member of the family, with patience, understanding, and affection. I always feel completely at ease knowing my pets are in such capable hands. Shana Pike is reliable, observant, and deeply attuned to animal behavior. If you’re looking for someone you can fully trust with your dogs and cats (especially in an energetic or complex household), you won’t find anyone better.

Shana is not only a pet owner herself, but also a reliable, compassionate, and highly communicative individual whom I would trust with any animal. She cared for our dog while I was away, and Phoebe (my “fur baby”) wanted for nothing during that time. In fact, Phoebe was so comfortable and happy with Shana that she was nearly as excited to see her as she was to see me upon my return. Shana followed every instruction I provided with care and attention to detail. She treated Phoebe exceptionally well and demonstrated genuine patience and kindness throughout. I understand that leaving a pet in someone else’s care can feel apprehensive, I certainly felt that way initially, but Shana exceeded every expectation. What stood out most was her personal approach. There was no sense of detachment; she was attentive, engaged, and went above and beyond what was asked. I would highly recommend Shana to anyone seeking a trustworthy and dedicated pet sitter. She is truly outstanding, and I would not hesitate to use her services again.
