Her house is perfect to host a number of dogs as they have access inside and outside In a fenced in area that’s perfect for the dogs to come and go as they’d like. She was super organized and made it stress-free for me as this was the first time we used Rover. She clearly loves all the dogs that stay with her and did an excellent job with my dog Bailey. Bailey’ had an upset stomach the first night she arrived and kris notified me asked me if I I was OK with her switching out the new food that I had brought and instead feeding her some ground beef and rice to ease the stomach issues. I would highly recommend Kris as she was so caring for the dogs”

About: I've had large dogs my entire life, including a special needs dog and police-trained K9 dogs. I have owned and operated a farm hotel in Brazil for the past 5 years, where I was the primary responsible for all daily care, injections, medical treatments and behavioral work with the animals (5 large dogs and multiple farm animals), so am very comfortable administering any special care your animal may need. I have also rescued & fostered nearly a dozen dogs from the street and helped them find forever homes. I love all animals and understand each one is different with unique personalities. The pics on my profile are from my farm. I work from home which allows me to always be present to keep your pet company, and love taking small cuddle, walk and play breaks throughout the day to break up my desk routine. Having extra dogs is the perfect excuse to stretch my legs! I live alone in a spacious apartment downtown Portsmouth where I can board up to 2 large dogs or 3 small dogs at a time. I am only a 5min walk from the Mill Pond dog park and can take your dog for several walks throughout the day. I can also crate your dog if they prefer it. I can administer medication and provide any special treatment necessary. I treat all pets as my own, like members of my family.

I used Laurie again to watch my dog Nolan, and just like last time, she was absolutely amazing. It’s such a relief knowing he’s in the hands of someone so loving and genuinely caring. Laurie has a true gift with animals—Nolan adores her, and it shows. She sent me thoughtful updates and photos throughout his stay, which always gives me peace of mind. Her home is calm and welcoming, and I know he feels safe there. I wouldn’t trust just anyone with my dog, but with Laurie, I never have to worry. She’s simply the best!!!
