“I was a nervous first time boarder and couldn’t have been more at ease leaving my two pups with Mike. He’s very easy going and obviously loves dogs! Mine took to him right away and I was able to enjoy a great vacation without a worry in the world!”

“I looked many hours for the right family to leave our Westie, Piper, with during a trip to Europe. When I met Donna and Roland at their home in Newbury, I felt so good about their experienced background with dogs. They advertised that they would allow a small dog to sleep in their bed which is what Piper is use to so this was another perk for Piper. Their home is very dog friendly and I loved the way they decorated it, inside and outside. Piper needed some extra meds while we were away and they followed all the instructions for her. When we picked her up, she was very relaxed and we knew she had a good vacation away from home. (Previously, we had people stay with her at our home.) She got to visit with another dog and a cat that lives with Donna and Roland, walked places that she had never walked before with Roland and was lovingly cared for by them. It was so good to see her so happy and content when we arrived to take her home. We will continue to book with Donna from now on and are so grateful for people like them who love her as we do. A+ to a wonderful care-free experience !!!”
“Ashley was fantastic at ensuring all of our fur baby’s needs were met. She provided constant updates on her well being throughout her stay. We would highly recommend Ashley’s services and will definitely be rebooking with her in the future. Thank you again, Ashley!”

“Michelle was easy to work with and let us bring our dog over for a visit ahead of time. Our dog loved her stay with Michelle and we will definitely use her again!!”

“Caroline did a wonderful job caring for our Boone! She sent pictures and kept us up to date with activities they were doing. Would absolutely recommend and use her again to watch Boone.”

“Bob and his wife took good care of my dog Deckard, and definitely put me at ease leaving him with a sitter. He sent me lots of pictures and Deckard looked so happy and comfortable.”

About: I’m a newly retired teacher and former principal that loves my doggies! Over the years, I’ve had so much love from my very special friends. Would love to give and get some loves from your treasured family member. I literally live in the middle of Stratham Hill Park and I love to walk. Only one “little guy” at a time…🥰 I’m loving my retirement and have lots of time and love to give. I have some scheduled exercise classes in the mornings but always home by 10:30. I’ve had so many dogs over the years. Routine visits to the vet are mandatory and walking, playing, and interacting with my friends are essential. I’m also very familiar with dogs with anxiety. One needs to approach this in a calm and careful way and watch the signs for anxiety coming on and be able to respond with love and kindness. Living right in the middle of Stratham Hill Park, I have easy access to the walking trails. Because I don’t know your dog, they will never be off leash but will be outside often during the day!! I love to walk. 🥰 I have a lovely crate IF your dog prefers this quiet space, but I will not be crating unless you ask me to. Typically my 11 year old grandson will come by after school to snuggle, play and go for a walk with me and your pup!
“Nicole made sure to accommodate Bryn’s dietary issues. I received pictures and videos daily during the visit. She was friendly and has a great fenced in backyard for play. Her home is a great setting for dogs. We will definitely be booking her again.”

“Lindsay was amazing. Our dog had a great time with Lindsay, her family and her dog Tilly, who happened to match our dog's size and energy level perfectly. Lindsay sent us multiple photos during our dog's stay. We could not recommend her more highly!”

“Faith was phenomenal to work with. Our dog is out baby and we are very picky who we leave him with. He was constantly smiling his whole visit with Faith. She sent pictures regularly and let us know how great he was doing. I felt so reassured knowing he was happy and in such good hands. She's also easy and quick to get in touch with. Thank you Faith abs family for giving Parker a fun vacation of his own while we were away. He will certainly be back :)”

“Julie took great care of Daisy for us while we went away on a trip over Thanksgiving. She kept us updated daily with photos and how she was doing. We would highly recommend Julie. She cared for Daisy exceptionally well :)”

“John & Donna we’re great with Porter while he stayed with them for a few days. Porter could play ball safely in their backyard while I was at peace knowing he was getting enough exercise. Donna & John kept in touch with regular updates and pictures and are super responsive. We will definitely have them look after Porter again!!”

Exeter dog parents share their Rover experiences
Courtney was wonderful! She was always prompt with communication and sent updates and photos regularly. Her experience with older dogs was very much appreciated, as our dog needs medication twice a day and some assistance, at times, with stairs. I could tell she took extra care to make sure our dog was comfortable in her home! We will absolutely be using Courtney again!

John was an incredible caretaker for my dog, Chester. He was extremely professional and trustworthy and went far above and beyond to ensure that Chester was comfortable and happy and that I was comfortable leaving him. He met us for meet and greets in advance so that Chester could get to know him in preparation for his stay. He took the time to plan a fun weekend of activities that align with Chester’s needs and interests and gave Chester a variety of enrichment experiences all weekend long. John sent regular updates, including a detailed daily recap that let me know all about how Chester was doing. I always felt well-informed and confident that Chester was having a great time. When Chester experienced some digestive upset during his stay, John helped Chester through it so thoughtfully. As a dog owner, John clearly provided his dogs with the highest level of care and extended that to Chester while he was there. John was wonderful to work with and I trust him completely and recommend him as a pet sitter wholeheartedly.
