She is super warm and kind and her home was the perfect calm, low-key environment for my old guy. She asked a lot of questions and made me feel confident that she was going to take good care of him. Courtney sent the cutest photos while we were away, it was nice to see how relaxed and happy he was. Albie is our *everything* and I am usually pretty anxious about him... I honestly didn't worry about him at all. I wouldn't have minded knowing more about his day-to-day but I didn't want to be "that" pet parent and ask a bunch of questions. I knew he was in great hands though and I'm sure she would have been patient with my helicopter parenting, haha. So, yes, we would absolutely trust Courtney with Albie again. The vibes were mellow and welcoming at Ashley’s. My dog got out of the car and sniffed about wagging his tail, good sign! Her disposition and friendly nature was not only felt by me, but also my pup ;) Ashley handled him as if he was a lapdog! I received countless photos. She took him swimming and for long walks and he slept in her home. I picked my dog up at her house and he was not anxious to hop in the truck. He simply ran around her yard and pranced about as if he was at an old friend’s house! I rarely ever send him to a kennel as I’ve noticed he is rambunctious and desperate for attention. Upon pick up he was as calm and happy as he was at an old friend’s house. By saying, “ I highly recommend Ashley as a pet sitter” is an understatement. Tip top service, no question. About: Taking care of animals is my joy. I have 3 healthy cats and an 8 week old puppy at home who I take care of, and I have been dog and cat sitting since I was around 12. When I was younger I put up flyers around town for my little pet care business, and people loved how I took care of their animals. I am currently working part time and in online school, so my schedule is very flexible and I have lots of time to take care of animals! My cats that I have had for years are healthy and happy and they are my best friends. I have never missed feeding or playing or cuddling, and I will treat my clients animals like they are my own. In my clients home I like to make sure the animal is properly taken care of and that everything is under control, whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, nail clipping, whatever it is!

“Laurie was wonderful! We booked her for a few days worth of drop-in visits with our 1 year old dog Luna (40-lb border collie mix). We've only had Luna for 4 months (rescue) and she is incredibly timid and loud around strangers in the house. We were worried going into the weekend that we might even have to cancel our trip because Luna has been unmanageable by just about everyone we've tried to get to walk her. And even with us, on walks she is easily distracted and will try to chase everything from squirrels to grasshoppers. It can be a challenge for non-family to even get close enough to get a leash on her. Laurie was so kind and patient with Luna, and spent so much time with her to gain her trust. She proved fully capable of leashing Luna and bringing her on long walks. We will definitely be booking Laurie again! (provided she would be willing!)”

About: Without exception, the dog park is always one of the best parts of my day. I've had three dogs of my own, and have been around countless other dogs, most of whom instantly become my new best friends. We just gravitate to each other, hence the fuzzy friend whisperer nickname. I have a playful, loving attitude toward every dog I meet. I am also sensitive to dogs who need a little more patience and space to ease into trusting me and respect the boundaries that they need to do that. My training style with my own dogs is focused on positive reinforcement rather than punishment. This approach translates to other dogs as well, unless their owners request differently. Your dog will be in caring, responsible hands with me. They will be loved. Vogel Emergency Vet just opened right across the street from our house, so if anything kind of emergency pops up, your baby will be a hop, skip and a jump away from the care they need. I'm self employed and work mostly from home so my schedule is quite flexible. Sometimes I’ll have drop in visits throughout the day, but if your dog is boarding with me, there will generally be someone else at home with them. They’ll rarely, if ever be left alone. I live on a small farm but also live near a road, so your dog will always be safely on a leash when we go outside for potty breaks. I have a very friendly 12 year old 45lb labradoodle named Huck to keep your baby company in the rare cases that I'm not at home. I have a "squirrel observatory" (bird feeder) right near my workspace so your dog will not only be supervised most of the time but also entertained.

About: We have combined experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments. Patience and consistency are important for pups in new environments, and we can provide both, along with plenty of play time to match the energy level of any dog. I work from home so am able to provide regular walks and food. If your dog has energy to burn, I can take them with me on a daily run. If they prefer to snuggle up on the couch all day, we have plenty of sunny nap spots throughout the house! About: For pretty much most of my entire life I’ve had a dog. I gave them all the love I had and they did the same right back at me. Currently we own a beautiful 4yr old Golden named Sammy. He is gentile playful loving and silly. When a dog walks into our home it takes about 30 seconds and just like that Sammys got a new best friend. “Andrew was a great dog walker! I've never, ever used a sitter before and I have a GIANT 4 month old Great Pyrenees. She's just a baby but she's about 35 pounds and FULL of crazy puppy energy. We normally walk her about 5-6 times a day but we needed a walker just for the daytime for 5 days. The first couple days was just once a day, but she was still having problems being crazy in her cage all day (until 4pm.) So I called Andrew and asked to up the walks to twice a day, and he was EXTREMELY helpful! It was a life saver! I spent the whole trip very worried about my puppy but it really helped to see pictures and get feedback about her behavior every day.”

“Ashley was EXCEPTIONAL! Not only did she squeeze me in last minute, it was immediately apparent that she was highly skilled and detail oriented. My dog is fairly large and can be stubborn. The vibes were mellow and welcoming at Ashley’s. My dog got out of the car and sniffed about wagging his tail, good sign! Her disposition and friendly nature was not only felt by me, but also my pup ;) Ashley handled him as if he was a lapdog! I received countless photos. She took him swimming and for long walks and he slept in her home. I picked my dog up at her house and he was not anxious to hop in the truck. He simply ran around her yard and pranced about as if he was at an old friend’s house! I rarely ever send him to a kennel as I’ve noticed he is rambunctious and desperate for attention. About: I’m a newly retired teacher and former principal that loves my doggies! Over the years, I’ve had so much love from my very special friends. Would love to give and get some loves from your treasured family member. I literally live in the middle of Stratham Hill Park and I love to walk. Only one “little guy” at a time…🥰 I’m loving my retirement and have lots of time and love to give. I have some scheduled exercise classes in the mornings but always home by 10:30. I’ve had so many dogs over the years. Routine visits to the vet are mandatory and walking, playing, and interacting with my friends are essential. I’m also very familiar with dogs with anxiety. One needs to approach this in a calm and careful way and watch the signs for anxiety coming on and be able to respond with love and kindness. Living right in the middle of Stratham Hill Park, I have easy access to the walking trails. Because I don’t know your dog, they will never be off leash but will be outside often during the day!! I love to walk. 🥰 I have a lovely crate IF your dog prefers this quiet space, but I will not be crating unless you ask me to. Typically my 11 year old grandson will come by after school to snuggle, play and go for a walk with me and your pup!
