“Alex was incredible. She just gets it!Great with four dogs who never missed a beat with Alex. Alex stayed three nights and left the house impeccable. She graciously agreed to vacuum and pick up poop in the back yard. We came home to a house that looked as good as when we left. Thank you, Alex!”

“Yajing went above and beyond caring for our cat for 8 days while we were vacationing. She was very communicative and our cat loved spending time with her. Yajing brought additional toys for our cat to play with, kept us updated with photos and videos, and left our home super clean. We would definitely book again with her in the future!”

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and a bunch of other animals, and I have always loved taking care of them. My family, neighbors, and friends have all relied on me to take care of their pets over the years, whether it's for walks, check-ins, or overnights, and I would love to do the same for your pet. I'm a college student living back at home for the summer and have plenty of time during the week for quick check-ins and walks, and I will be able to stay overnight most weekdays and over the weekends. I am very comfortable around dogs and would have no problem going on walks, crating your dog, administering most medicine, or doing any other tasks that may be required.

About: Hi! I have experience with taking care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I would always be the one that neighbors and family friends would rely on to make sure their fur babies were cared for while they were away. I care for every cat and dog as though they’re my own and send you as many pictures as you’d like of them while you’re away :) I’ve done this part time since 2021, and just recently switched to full time at the end of 2025. I’ve been using Facebook groups and my town page to find my clients, so I decided to give this a try :) Please reach out if you’re interested! I do this full time, so I usually stay the whole day and night, but sometimes I go out for a couple of hours at a time to help other clients or run on errands. I make sure not to be gone for longer than you say you’re comfortable with. I can take your pups on as many walks as they need! I’m active and love hiking and running, so I can always drive them somewhere to join me on a small hike or run :) I always follow your instructions for whether or not you want your pets leashed when they’re outside. A lot of times, I’ll keep them leashed anyways while letting them out into the yard. I usually stop by at some point before our scheduled time so we can meet each other and I can meet your pets. I usually ask for a note detailing the daily care/routine for your pet, along with important information like emergency phone numbers, and which vet you go to.
“To leave our 13-year-old dog home for 3 weeks was a huge decision we wrestled with for months. Finding a dog/house sitter on Rover made this daunting prospect easier. Our choice, Selyn, strongly answered our questions, having the qualities you need when undertaking both a dog and a house sitting position: honesty, reliability, dependability, conscientiousness, and a full commitment to our peace of mind. She communicated openly with daily updates and photos. She administered meds and picked up scripts. She soothed our highly anxious dog with an earnest and true-hearted approach, ultimately winning our dog’s heart. Selyn takes her job seriously, and a huge plus, she radiates a sincere cheerfulness in her devotion to duty. P.S. Upon return, our house was immaculate.”

“Katherine was great - she stayed overnight at our house and she took great care of our animals and house. She kept us updated with pictures and videos of all the animals. She was very flexible when we were returning home and her communication was overall excellent. We'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their animals!”

“We have special needs very spoiled pups and Amanda was so loving and caring! It was our first trip where we weren’t in driving distance and I didn’t worry a bit! She went above when we had cat food issues. I can’t say enough great things about Amanda!”

“I enjoyed my trip so much more because I knew Melissa was taking excellent care of my kitties. She sent me lots of pictures and updates to reassure me. She did everything I asked of her and more. I will definitely be booking her again!”

About: I have had 2 dogs for the last 6 years although one recently passed and have helped out with dogs since I was 16. Not great with cats but could watch it needed. I can administer medication as well as I had to for my dog. Monday and Friday I can use my lunch break for a visit, middle of the week days , I am available after 3, weekends are wide open I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space and our dog cannoli is very very friendly and will love to have a friend. She is up to date with all vaccinations.

About: Since I was a young girl I was always the family remember in charge of making sure our pets were fed, entertained, trained and given exercise. Around the age of 10 was my first time watching over our neighbors new puppy as they went on vacation. At the time I was nervous but my energetic energy matched the puppy perfectly. Currently i’m renting an apartment at my college UNH with my cat and a roommate. My neighbors who have pets continuously asked me to watch them because of how much time and energy I put into carrying for them. Sometimes I only watch them for the day when work or school takes over and other for extended periods of time. If this becomes the case I make sure to walk and entertained the pet so that they don’t feel lonely. Cat sitting in house is my most common form of cat sitting. Cats and dogs have very different needs from a sitter that I can provide with my years of experience working and owning my own pets I’m currently on summer break until August so my availability to spend time with your fur babies is very open. Keeping in mind that it is still my break there will be times in which I wish to fully experience my summer :) If there is a fenced in yard or not, I still plan to take pups on daily leash walks to ensure safety of the both of us. Ultimately whatever the client feels most comfortable and confident with I will ensure to use those methods. This can include crate use, specific walk routes, specific animal preferences and more.

Every pet has their own personality and I completely understand any accommodations or activities your pet needs.

“Noreen was fantastic! She looked after our energetic pitbull Gunner for 2 nights in our home. She kept us updated how he was doing and sent lots of photos. We will certainly look to have Noreen look after our guy again in the near future!”

“I have used Rover for years, and Erin has been by far the best dog sitter I have had the pleasure to work with. She house sat my 14-year-old Yorkie, Molly, for a week. Molly, in addition to being an elderly little one that requires daily oral meds, suffers from separation anxiety. She’s an extremely picky eater that tends to mope around and not eat when I have to go out of town and can’t take her with me. Erin kept my little girl company and was as sweet and kind to her as if she had known Molly for ages! She medicated Molly as instructed, took her for her little old lady slow walks around the yard, and sent me lots of updates and pictures. Erin was not only amazing with my Molly, but she was also very respectful of my house and even offered to wait for me to be home before leaving in case there were any issues with my flights. She genuinely cared for my fur baby, and that meant the world to me.”

“We were so happy with Kimberly! She stayed at our home for a week and took great care of our dog and cat. She was reliable, attentive, and made us feel at ease while we were away. We’d definitely recommend her!”

“Kristin is absolutely amazing! From start to finish, she provided outstanding care for our dog, Bruce, and truly went above and beyond to make sure he was happy, safe, and comfortable while we were away. She was extremely professional and reliable—always on time, communicative, and proactive. Kristin sent regular updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. It was clear that Bruce wasn’t just being looked after; he was being loved. When we returned home, Bruce was relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. Kristin’s dedication, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals truly set her apart. We can’t recommend her highly enough—she’s our go-to from now on!”
About: I love to make sure your babies are happy, safe and comfortable so that you can enjoy your time away without worry! FaceTime, texts and consistent communication is what makes me your best choice! Former special educator, patience is my virtue! Weekday social worker, so I’m off on weekends routinely, which coincides with families wanting some getaway time. Occasionally available weeknights for walks and drop ins. Weekends are more flexible, and I’m usually available AM/PM or both. Looking to begin boarding in the Fall 2025 Primarily, I can come to your house for care. Occasionally, happily ready to provide care in my home for dogs on weekends. Walking trails and small yard. Other dogs are plentiful here, I will always keep your dog leashed at all times. I’m not against an occasional pup cup trip but have also respected gluten free diets as well.
“Zach cleary took good care of the menagerie while we were away. The dogs and cats were calm, not anxious in any way, when we got home. Also, to my delight, my plants were happy and best of all, the house was clean. The only criticism I can come up with is that I'd have enjoyed a few more pictures. Much more important to me is that Zach actually cared, as I could tell when our flight was delayed and Zach made an extra trip back to the house to make sure everyone was okay.”
