About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets since I was a kid. I started dog walking and pet sitting during the summers in college and am looking to continue caring for your precious pets as I start a new career as a teacher. I am experienced in caring and training puppies as well as taking care of senior dogs who need extra care. I look forward to meeting your pets! I’m currently off for the summer as I am a teacher. I've always gravitated towards animals; I was that kid who brought home any animal that crossed my path, feeding strays, foresting. Growing up in a home where the pet to human ratio always favored pets, pet sitting is second nature to me. My experience administering medication I've done my fair share of administering medication to all sorts of animals. I am able to administer oral, injections, topical ointments, as well as suppositories. I currently work a dual remote position at NHPBS and have the flexibility to work from home which allows me ample time to provide the attention and care your pet requires. I’ll be an extension of your home and care. The goal is to provide a safe environment where your pet feels loved and has an enjoyable stay until your return.

About: Kristine and Eric have loved and had animals our entire life. I have always helped care for pets, even as a child. Eric was raised on a farm, caring for many different kinds of animals- waking up before dawn to ensure that all animals were properly cared for and had what they needed for the day whether it be rain, shine, snow, sleet, hot, or cold. We, together, have two dogs. They are both around 10 years old and are rescues. We also have 6 chickens. Our home has a door from the downstairs to the upstairs. When dogs are home during the day and if left alone for 1 hour or so they stay downstairs with access to water, comfy couches, and dog bed areas. When we are home they have free run of the home. We also have a crate for dogs that may need a private, safe space. We have a back yard that our dog enjoys playing in, but just so you know it is not fenced in, therefore dogs remain leashed when in the back yard. We do have a deck that is closed off in the backyard where dogs can be left unleashed to hang out, but always supervised when out there. We also have a 15 year old daughter who loves animals. She assists with the care of our dogs and we have fostered a few dogs in the past from various shelters and she is always eager to assist with making these dogs feel comfortable and give them love. She volunteers at a local animal shelter with small mammals and takes care of the chickens I work full time during the school year for a school district. Eric works from home. Eric takes dogs for a number of walks per day including walks to the local dog park (Rogers Park) and to local beaches for exercise and socialization. I am home by 3:30 pm and bring my dogs (and other dogs) for exercise either running, hiking, or walking. In the summer I am mostly around. I also grew up with cats and with both have experience with cats and providing meds to cats, including insulin shots. I work full time and Eric works part to full time but we can walk dogs in the evening and walk dogs throughout the day on the weekends. I have summers off as I work in a school. I will not be offering care in my home, but am excited to take care of your pet and walk your dog and take your dog on adventures.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, my whole life, and I have always taken care of them, one way or another. There’s nothing like unconditional love of a pet or a fur a baby. My schedule has changed I am working three days a week now pet sitting is a team effort with my partner so one of us will always be home to take care of a dog or cats. Live on a dead end road that is safe. Would also meet with your pet and find out what their habits and likes are what works best for them would always have them on a leash and make sure they’re safe.

“Can I give a 15 Star Review? This was my first time with Madison watching my cat. My cat, who won't even sit on MY lap was in her lap! Clearly a cat-person! But that is not the best part of Madison. We were away for 10 days on a cruise in the middle of a snow storm and very cold weather. Madison noticed it was cold in the house and let me know. As we were trying to trouble shoot, she rebooted my NEST twice and recharged it! Digger was in totally awesome hands! Madison went truly above and beyond, including checking on my cat extra to make sure the heat was still on. Can't tell you how great it was to have her looking after my soft furry friend!”

Sylvie provided great care for our cat Mucca, keeping her happy and entertained while we were away for a pretty long time. Erin is a fantastic sitter. She was incredibly helpful for the two weeks we had her provide drop-in visits for. She communicated well. We loved the pictures and are so glad all three of our cats had such excellent care. She even took our garbage down to the street for trash day which was absolutely above and beyond. We came home to three well cuddled, well-fed, and happy kitties. We would absolutely use her services again in the future.
