Karen was perfect for my nervous dog. Daisy was able to relax even in the short time she was there. Planning our next dates for some day care.

My 8yo dog Wilbur loved her time with Joshua and Rebecca! We haven't needed dog sitting or daycare often, and I am so glad I was able to find Joshua while in town on a work trip. Wilbur made new friends (she can be a loner but loves people), got out on tons of walks and creeks, and even got to ride in the dog van. It can be stressful finding the right dog care when on the road vs. at home with people you know, and I'm glad Wilbur got to spend a few day care days with this family!

Heather was an absolute lifesaver and a fantastic sitter! She jumped in last minute when we needed her, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She provided regular updates with messages and adorable photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was so sweet to hear how my dog enjoy playing together with her dog, enjoyed a little backyard chase, and even went on a car ride! Heather even let my dog borrow a coat for their walk, which was such a thoughtful touch. I truly appreciate all the care and attention she provided, making sure my dog felt comfortable, safe, and well-loved. If you're looking for a reliable, kind, and communicative sitter, Heather is the best! I highly recommend her and would definitely book again.

About: I am a reliable, active, and detail-oriented dog sitter. I tailor every stay to your dog's unique routine and personality. Fully equipped to handle feeding, medication, exercise and plenty of TLC. Let's chat about how I can make your dog's day great! I do doggie daycare/boarding full time, so I am always home. During the day, the pups go on pack walks, explore and sniff or they can chill in the fenced yard, if that is more their style. I am fully insured and certified in canine first aid and CPR, so your dog is always in safe, capable hands. My family dogs are friendly, laid back and always welcome to new friends. My home is set up with multiple boundaries to allow dogs to have quiet time when needed.

About: Since childhood, I’ve been devoted to caring for dogs. Growing up with lively boxers, they really honed my skills for handling energetic pups. Now, I share my home with a super friendly 2.5 year old French Bulldog who adores people, kids, and other animals. We take daily walks, and I’d be thrilled to include your dog in our adventures. With a spacious fenced in yard for playing fetch and enjoying yard games, your furry friend will have a fantastic time with us! My wife and I both work from home, so there should always be someone around to take care of their needs. I currently am working part-time from home, so I will have more than enough time to play and take care of any of your animals needs! Since I work from home, my availability is wide open. I am open to dog daycare, boarding, and walking any day of the week. I have a large fenced in yard where your pet can play. My dog will also be more than happy to play and keep your pet company. I am also more than happy to crate your pet at any time during the day if you desire, I know that some cooldown time is needed with certain breeds. I’m also willing to take on any special requests you may have as long as they are within reason.

About: Without exception, the dog park is always one of the best parts of my day. I've had three dogs of my own, and have been around countless other dogs, most of whom instantly become my new best friends. We just gravitate to each other, hence the fuzzy friend whisperer nickname. I have a playful, loving attitude toward every dog I meet. I am also sensitive to dogs who need a little more patience and space to ease into trusting me and respect the boundaries that they need to do that. My training style with my own dogs is focused on positive reinforcement rather than punishment. This approach translates to other dogs as well, unless their owners request differently. Your dog will be in caring, responsible hands with me. They will be loved. Vogel Emergency Vet just opened right across the street from our house, so if anything kind of emergency pops up, your baby will be a hop, skip and a jump away from the care they need. I'm self employed and work mostly from home so my schedule is quite flexible. Sometimes I’ll have drop in visits throughout the day, but if your dog is boarding with me, there will generally be someone else at home with them. They’ll rarely, if ever be left alone. I live on a small farm but also live near a road, so your dog will always be safely on a leash when we go outside for potty breaks. I have a very friendly 12 year old 45lb labradoodle named Huck to keep your baby company in the rare cases that I'm not at home. I have a "squirrel observatory" (bird feeder) right near my workspace so your dog will not only be supervised most of the time but also entertained.

A+ Absolutely recommend, 100%! Donnie is out-of-this-world awesome. In town for the summer, I had a bit of an emergency and desperately needed someone the next day to care for my two dogs – one is a puppy who isn't ready to be left alone yet. Donnie responded quickly to my request, insisted on meeting me and the dogs first, which was a very good sign he a real pro. He did a great job with the dogs and included some excellent training, even investing some time with me to show me how to keep them from pulling. He's also got a great set up and I felt very comfortable leaving the dogs in his care. Very impressed!

Julianna was a great dog sitter. She met us the night before to us. She was flexible when our plans changed slightly. She was responsive to messages and provided lots of pictures and comments to put us at ease. We will definitely keep her in mind the next time we need a dog sitter when we are in Londonderry. Lindsey was great, my cousin and I wanted to take my god daughter whale watching as we are from out of state I didn't want to leave my pup at some kennel he had never been to. So I looked up river and found Lindsey, she took Cole to the beach and he loves the water. And sent me pictures. She has a kiddie pool in her back yard. It was completely fenced. Thank you again for watching my pup for those few hours he was tired when we got back to our room.

Mac had a wonderful day with Robert and his pups. He had never been to a dog sitter before so we were a bit anxious about leaving him. We had a meet and greet before the day visit and when Mac got to Bob’s house on the day of the visit, Mac remembered that it was a place with people that he liked. Bob’s updates through the day made us rest easy that Mac was being well cared for. We loved the report card and pictures that we got at the end of the visit. We look forward to our next booking with Bob.

About: I’m a newly retired teacher and former principal that loves my doggies! Over the years, I’ve had so much love from my very special friends. Would love to give and get some loves from your treasured family member. I literally live in the middle of Stratham Hill Park and I love to walk. Only one “little guy” at a time…🥰 I’m loving my retirement and have lots of time and love to give. I have some scheduled exercise classes in the mornings but always home by 10:30. I’ve had so many dogs over the years. Routine visits to the vet are mandatory and walking, playing, and interacting with my friends are essential. I’m also very familiar with dogs with anxiety. One needs to approach this in a calm and careful way and watch the signs for anxiety coming on and be able to respond with love and kindness. Living right in the middle of Stratham Hill Park, I have easy access to the walking trails. Because I don’t know your dog, they will never be off leash but will be outside often during the day!! I love to walk. 🥰 I have a lovely crate IF your dog prefers this quiet space, but I will not be crating unless you ask me to. Typically my 11 year old grandson will come by after school to snuggle, play and go for a walk with me and your pup!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Fremont commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 849 sitters in Fremont, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
