About: Caring for others has always been a big part of my life. I grew up in a large, close-knit family as one of six siblings and later raised five children of my own, so creating a safe and loving home comes naturally to me. I’ve been around animals since I was young. My father owned racehorses, and I later cared for a horse of my own for many years. Over the years, I’ve also had dogs, cats, and rabbits as part of my family. I recently moved to a new town and bought a home with a large fenced yard and farm space behind it. While I don’t have animals of my own right now, visiting pets have plenty of safe room to enjoy the outdoors. Since I’m home throughout the day, your pet won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I’m patient, attentive, and dependable, and I understand how important it is to know your pet is in good hands. I will care for your pet with the same love and attention I would give my own. I’m home throughout the day, so your pet will have plenty of attention and supervision. I stick closely to their usual routine, including feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and rest, so they feel comfortable and settled. Your pet will be treated like family in a safe, relaxed setting. I stick to their normal routine and make sure they feel secure, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: After deciding to not become a Veterinarian and instead purse a career in design, I take any opportunity to be involved with animals! I have volunteered at animal hospitals, shelters, pet sitting etc as I wait for the time to adopt a puppy of my own. I've taken care of puppies, dogs, cats, disabled animals and even reptiles for family and friends of family for years. I'd often be the go-to option for family friends when they needed someone reliable to come check in on their furry family, house-sit for extended trips or drop in to give important prescriptions to pets. Like I have done in the past, I'll always care for your pets as if they are my own - which means even a regular visit for breakfast/dinner means a little play time outside (if applicable) and a few extra belly scratches! Fortunately I am a full-time, remote, self-employed graphic designer so my schedule during the week is very flexible. I can bring my work anywhere too so even if there is work to be done, house-sitting is convenient for me to adapt to and daily visits are an easy addition to my schedule with at least 1 days notice. If your fur babies come to my house for pet-sitting, I have a large fenced in yard to walk them or let them run. With my work from home schedule, I like to get up and stretch my own legs often through the day so many walks around the yard or down the rail trail are possible. Though my apartment is 2 floors, the stairs aren't too steep for our 4-legged friends and they are welcome to roam. At night, if the puppy/dog needs to be in a crate I have the space to accommodate their little portable bedrooms (crate).

About: Since childhood, I’ve been devoted to caring for dogs. Growing up with lively boxers, they really honed my skills for handling energetic pups. Now, I share my home with a super friendly 2.5 year old French Bulldog who adores people, kids, and other animals. We take daily walks, covering a few miles, and I’d be thrilled to include your dog in our adventures. With a spacious fenced in yard for playing fetch and enjoying yard games, your furry friend will have a fantastic time with us! I currently am working part-time from home, so I will have more than enough time to play and take care of any of your animals needs! Since I work from home, my availability is wide open. I am open to dog daycare, boarding, and walking any day of the week. I have a large fenced in yard where your pet can play. My dog will also be more than happy to play and keep your pet company. I am also more than happy to crate your pet at any time during the day if you desire, I know that some cooldown time is needed with certain breeds. I’m also willing to take on any special requests you may have as long as they are within reason.

About: I’ve grown up my whole life having a dog in my family. I grew up helping with the responsibilities of having pets/a dog. I treat my “kids” with so much love, they deserve the best life we can give them during their time on earth! Both of our dogs are rescues from down South. Their love is unconditional and I want to give them (dogs) the best lives I can. I begin each day with my “kids” by going for a long walk. Oftentimes, Arlo enjoys a game of fetch after our walk in our expansive yard. We also enjoy midday and evening walks to decompress. Our pets are my whole life. We don’t have human children yet, so these are our kids, (hence all the “kids” in quotes). Caring for dogs is about trust and love, compassion and patience.

I wish I would have gotten updates and photos throughout the day but my pup seems like he had a great time! Plus Donnie gave my puppy a homemade lamb bone which my puppy absolutely devoured!”

About: I have had pets my entire life and could never live without them. I have three dogs and three cats and would love the opportunity to take care of your babies the way you wish you could while you are away. About: Without exception, the dog park is always one of the best parts of my day. I've had three dogs of my own, and have been around countless other dogs, most of whom instantly become my new best friends. We just gravitate to each other, hence the fuzzy friend whisperer nickname. I have a playful, loving attitude toward every dog I meet. I am also sensitive to dogs who need a little more patience and space to ease into trusting me and respect the boundaries that they need to do that. My training style with my own dogs is focused on positive reinforcement rather than punishment. This approach translates to other dogs as well, unless their owners request differently. Your dog will be in caring, responsible hands with me. They will be loved. Vogel Emergency Vet just opened right across the street from our house, so if anything kind of emergency pops up, your baby will be a hop, skip and a jump away from the care they need. I'm self employed and work mostly from home so my schedule is quite flexible. Sometimes I’ll have drop in visits throughout the day, but if your dog is boarding with me, there will generally be someone else at home with them. They’ll rarely, if ever be left alone. I live on a small farm but also live near a road, so your dog will always be safely on a leash when we go outside for potty breaks. I have a very friendly 12 year old 45lb labradoodle named Huck to keep your baby company in the rare cases that I'm not at home. I have a "squirrel observatory" (bird feeder) right near my workspace so your dog will not only be supervised most of the time but also entertained.

We had a meet and greet before the day visit and when Mac got to Bob’s house on the day of the visit, Mac remembered that it was a place with people that he liked. Bob’s updates through the day made us rest easy that Mac was being well cared for. We loved the report card and pictures that we got at the end of the visit.
