It can be difficult to find someone trustworthy, reliable, and communicative. It can be even more difficult to find someone who is all of those things AND is excellent with dogs. My family has hit the absolute jackpot with Karen’s services. Our older dog has separation anxiety, takes medication, and needs a consistent presence to be successful. We never had to doubt whether Karen could fill these needs for him, and she’s delivered every time. Our younger dog has a lot of energy and has to be let out frequently- Karen’s flexibility and home/yard are perfect to meet those needs. Karen sent us pictures and videos throughout each of my dogs’ stays and provided detailed updates as to how they are doing. We will absolutely be back again, we can’t recommend her enough! 6/5 stars!”

“Kiana was truly amazing. I had a sudden family emergency that required me to go out of state. She went so far above and beyond during that time, while having no obligation to do so. From the beginning of the cats stay with Kiana, she had been so incredibly flexible, she agreed to watch them with only two days notice, and due to the situation evolving and becoming unpredictable, she was more than happy to allow me to extend their stay. She was the direct cause of so much stress relief due to knowing the cats were safe, and well taken care of. 5/5 human. As for her actual care of the kitties she again went well above and beyond anything anyone might think is going the extra mile. The cats were given the space needed to become comfortable and very quickly, and happily adapted to the new routine. I received frequent pictures and videos, she was very communicative, and because of her vigilance we were able to create a plan of action for one of the kitties who started throwing up more frequently than normal. She even went out and bought higher quality food for the cats, and implemented a structured feeing strategy so we could better assess the puking, which I doubt was an easy task since they both free fed before they were boarded. She kept me up to date at all times and provided regular, detailed updates. 5/5 for animal care as well. She is the best sitter/boarder I have ever had any experience with, by exponents, it’s not even close. Her service was head, and shoulders above anyone I’ve personally used before and far better than anything I’ve heard about other boarders. Choosing Kiana to care for your pets should be an insanely easy decision for anyone who wants their animals taken care of at the highest level of care, and wants someone that is just a straight up good human as well.”

About: I grew up with cats and dogs and now own both as an adult. I have trained my dogs and built trust with them, and I have built a loving relationship with my cats. I trained my puppy when we got him and helped teach our rescue dog manners and trust. My cat trusts me and has learned to come when called, and my new rescue cat already follows me around! About: I always loved and had dogs. Until I had a small size dog I have realized that leaving them at home is very heartbreaking. I have a 12year old Maltese girl. I always looked for someone to take care of her when I was not available. Now, I want to be that person for your little precious ones. I can be their companion when you are not available. I can maintain the same standards you provide as much as I can. Little ones have access to my couch, bed, lap as long as they want or I have different types of beddings around my apartment if they feel like being alone. (My dog is very independent, sometimes she prefers sleeping alone.) They won't be alone for a long time. Maybe just a short period of time such as grocery visit, I have a camera at my home so I can monitor how they are doing. Looking forward to meet them soon! ❤️ I’m currently studying and working from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pups in my care. We usually have two long walks and one shorter outing each day. On weekends, we enjoy exploring nearby parks and spending extra time outdoors. “5 stars! Lindsey took very good care of my doggy while I was visiting from out of town for Newport Seafood and Winefest. She was happy to watch him for however long I needed, which I loved because I didn't have to rush to and from the fest like I have had to in years past due to using the Commercial Dog Daycare in Newport. She took him to the dog park and sent me a picture of him to check in, and he returned to me as one tired pup, which is good! She is also quick to respond to any messages sent, and will check in with you a day or two prior to watching your dog. About: I’ve always had animals growing up and have always had an interest in taking care of animals. As soon as I was old enough family and friends have had me watch their animals. Dogs, cats, rats, bunnies, reptiles, you name it! I could not imagine having a life without animals. Currently I have two Siberian huskies, two cats, and one bunny. I’ve also had a lot of experience giving dogs and cats medication, and know all the tricks to get them to take it in a quick and easy manner. My mornings and afternoons are typically very available, because I own an aerial studio and those classes are mainly held at night. I am a very active person so I am always looking to add more walks into my daily routine. At my home I have a fenced in yard, and two friendly, playful dogs. I do have two cats as well, but they can easily be separated. I also have two crates at my house that both of my dogs comfortable can go in when needing to be separated. At clients homes I can do anything you need me to for your pet. Treats, walks, playtime, crate time, and even snuggles.
About: We treat animals as parents would with a child. It's all about knowing that every creature has a personality of their own and taking the appropriate approach for positive behavior and training. We work full-time, yet we make time for evening walks with our youngest dog (if the temperature is bearable). On the weekends, we take her for 1-2 walks within the two days. Late Spring to mid Fall is the best time for outdoor fun. We have another older dog that is crate trained if they need to be caged in because of visitors. If a dog is trained well enough to not run off, we do have a wide open backyard they can run around in.
About: I have had 2 dogs for the last 6 years although one recently passed and have helped out with dogs since I was 16. Not great with cats but could watch it needed. I can administer medication as well as I had to for my dog. About: I regularly care for friends' dogs when they're out of town or need someone to swing by during a long day. Walks, fetch, general snuggles. I work full time but can get away during the day for activities. Love early morning walks and a good game of fetch in the evening. General dog sitting and care. Feeding and medicine, walks, fun and games, and of course some good snuggling. Dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcome.

About: I started out dog walking about the age of 10, I have always had a passion for animals since I was young. My career with animals then started in doggy daycare as a teen, and I then moved up to a vet receptionist and made my way to a vet tech which I have been doing for 6 years now. I love all animals greatly and I am looking for more jobs to be around them. I currently work at my vet hospital Monday - Friday until 3pm so I am looking for part time weekend jobs. Willing to work around different hours during the day on the weekends. I myself have two cats, and one dog I am experienced caring for them in home settings and Hospital settings with my career as a vet tech and very experienced with keeping them safe, fed and loved! I also have experience giving medications and feedings and leash walks.
About: I've always had animals in my life since the day I was born. I was brought up to love all creatures big and small. My true passion and love in this life is for the animals. I have worked with mainly cats and dogs. Volunteered in many animal shelters in NH and CT. At one time I lived in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where I helped run an animal shelter. Saving many animals from bad situations. I also went around to the schools down there educating the children on how to care for an animal. When I moved back to the USA I started volunteering at my vet where I brought my dogs for care. My vet ran a rescue called All Better Pets. She turned it over to us volunteers. We created a Board where I became Treasurer. I have no children so my animals are my children. This is just a brief description of the many things I have done to help. They have free range of the home and many places to look out the windows along with climbing towers etc. When my dog was alive she had an electric fence where she was free to roam while we were home.

“I’m a person who has a lot of difficulty trusting someone with my dogs- I’m very close with them. I’m positive many of the folks reading this review can say the same. It can be difficult to find someone trustworthy, reliable, and communicative. It can be even more difficult to find someone who is all of those things AND is excellent with dogs. My family has hit the absolute jackpot with Karen’s services. Our older dog has separation anxiety, takes medication, and needs a consistent presence to be successful. We never had to doubt whether Karen could fill these needs for him, and she’s delivered every time. Our younger dog has a lot of energy and has to be let out frequently- Karen’s flexibility and home/yard are perfect to meet those needs. Karen sent us pictures and videos throughout each of my dogs’ stays and provided detailed updates as to how they are doing. We will absolutely be back again, we can’t recommend her enough! 6/5 stars!”

“Kiana was truly amazing. I had a sudden family emergency that required me to go out of state. She went so far above and beyond during that time, while having no obligation to do so. From the beginning of the cats stay with Kiana, she had been so incredibly flexible, she agreed to watch them with only two days notice, and due to the situation evolving and becoming unpredictable, she was more than happy to allow me to extend their stay. She was the direct cause of so much stress relief due to knowing the cats were safe, and well taken care of. 5/5 human. As for her actual care of the kitties she again went well above and beyond anything anyone might think is going the extra mile. The cats were given the space needed to become comfortable and very quickly, and happily adapted to the new routine. I received frequent pictures and videos, she was very communicative, and because of her vigilance we were able to create a plan of action for one of the kitties who started throwing up more frequently than normal. She even went out and bought higher quality food for the cats, and implemented a structured feeing strategy so we could better assess the puking, which I doubt was an easy task since they both free fed before they were boarded. She kept me up to date at all times and provided regular, detailed updates. 5/5 for animal care as well. She is the best sitter/boarder I have ever had any experience with, by exponents, it’s not even close. Her service was head, and shoulders above anyone I’ve personally used before and far better than anything I’ve heard about other boarders. Choosing Kiana to care for your pets should be an insanely easy decision for anyone who wants their animals taken care of at the highest level of care, and wants someone that is just a straight up good human as well.”
