About: I’ve grown up around dogs for over 10 years and have always loved caring for animals. I recently moved out of my parents’ home after losing my last childhood dog, and I’m not quite ready to have my own dog just yet. I’d love to spend that time caring for and loving other people’s pets! I’m comfortable with dogs of different ages, personalities, and energy levels and understand that every dog has their own routine and needs. I’m happy to take dogs on walks, play with them, give them lots of attention, and keep them comfortable in a home environment. I’m responsible, patient, attentive, and will treat your pet like they are my own. I work three night shifts per week as a nurse, while my partner works weekday mornings and afternoons as an electrician. Because of our schedules, there are plenty of days and times when I’m available to give pets my full attention with his help. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and companionship. We have an unfenced lawn at home and live on a quiet dead-end road with safe walking areas around a lake, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I’m also happy to follow whatever routine works best for your pet! Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I’m happy to take your dogs out on a leash for walks and exercise. Although we do not have a fenced-in yard, we have a lawn and I will always make sure pets are supervised and safely leashed when outside. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I will treat every animal in my care with the same patience, attention, and love I would give my own. I’m also happy to follow specific feeding, walking, medication, or routine instructions to help your pet feel comfortable while you’re away.

This was the first time I was leaving shadow with someone and he made me feel comfortable and even sent me pictures throughout my vacation.
