Paw-Fect home away from home!
Hi there, my name is Cherie! I live in Pelham NH with my husband, and two adventurous boys ages 5 and 9, who are fellow dog lovers like myself. Since my teenage years I have had dogs in my life- A Weimaraner, Dachshunds and a Labrador. At one point in high school my family had 4 Dachshunds! They were a small but mighty pack each having their own unique personalities and loved to howl in unison together. We are currently without a dog at home, our redbone coonhound mix Victor, pasted away Spring of 2025. He was a great companion and family dog and we miss him dearly! He was loud and had a lot to bark and howl about.. So I guess you could say I don’t mind pups who like to talk and sing either :) My close family members have large breeds- Lab, Weimaraner, and Pit mix, that I’ve cared for from when they were puppies until now. I’m comfortable giving daily medications and providing any special grooming or attention your dog may need. I also have a dog friendly vehicle with a secure trunk space if it were ever necessary to provide transportation. Thank you for looking at my profile- I look forward to meeting you and your pup(s)!

Cherie does great with our Weimaraner and definitely makes him feel at home! I definitely would recommend her for anyone needing a dog sitter!
She was amazing and we loved getting all the pictures while we were away!
Cherie boarded our two goldendoodles for a weekend. They were very well cared for and came home two happy, tired pups after playing in her beautiful fenced in yard all day. We would highly recommend Cherie and plan to use her services again in the future.
I was scrambling to find a last minute boarder and Cherie saved my day! She was also very acommodating of my change in schedule when my flight got pushed back. She sent lots of pictures and I could tell my Bo had lots of fun at her place.
Cherie was amazing! This was my first time using Rover and for my new dog I had only had for two months, so I was uncertain about the whole process. Cherie was very responsive and easy to work with. My dog isn’t the easiest dog ever but Cherie managed her well. With the big fenced in backyard and other dog friends to play with, I wasn’t sure my dog waned to leave at the end!! Highly recommend. Almost forgot- we had a few travel hiccups coming back and Cherie was really understanding and we were able to book an extra night. Five stars!
Cherie is great. She is friendly, easy to communicate with, and she sent updates and pics while we were on vacation. Her yard is really big and completely fenced in with plenty of space for our dog to run and play. We will definitely be using Cherie again in the future.

Schedule
I’m currently working part-time, two days a week. I have availability for boarding on weekends including Monday & Fridays. If you are in need of extended care for a week+ just ask! I’ve done some longer term boarding up to 6 weeks.

Safety, trust & environment
At my home your dog would be free to come in and out as they please. I have a large fenced in backyard that includes some wooded area- plenty of room for your dog to romp and explore in or simply just bask in the sun. For extra protection against ticks and mosquitoes the property is professionally sprayed with pet friendly repellent. If crating is necessary when left alone I do have one that would fit a small- medium breed. I live in a quiet neighborhood perfect for daily walks, where I do often run into other dogs, walkers and critters. If this is a house call I’m happy to let your dog(s) out for a potty break and/or walk them for your requested time. I know how stressful it can be to rely on someone else for the proper care of your four legged family member and I can assure you that under my care you will feel at ease knowing your dog is lovingly cared for as if they were my own.
A typical day
If the weather permits, most of the day would be spent out in the fenced backyard to do as they please. During the hot summer days I have a dog pool or sprinkler for them to cool down in. I do enjoy daily walks/ runs myself so if that’s what your pup is into or requires, I’d be taking them out with me.
