About: I grew up around dogs my whole life so I’m used to being around them. I also have had one other dog before and now have a mini dachshund. I’m very comfortable with taking care of dogs and having them in my space. I work a full time job at home, but I’m in control of my own schedule and am very flexible. I’m also available weekends and in the summer, I’m even more flexible. I take my dog out 2-3x a day depending on weather. We go on walk across the street at the park for about 15-20 min and when we are back inside, he is allowed to roam freely. He eats 2x a day with snacks in between and he always has water out. I play with him as much as I can throughout the day to make sure he doesn’t get too bored with his day too! My apartment is always clean to ensure that my pup doesn’t get into anything he isn’t supposed to. Lastly, my apartment building is secure as you need a key fob or someone to buzz you in to enter the building.

Lucille kept Kona busy with daily walks and fetch which are Kona’s favorites! Kona has some medical needs which always makes leaving her with a sitter a bit anxiety provoking but Lucille made us feel at ease with her communication around medications as well. I am so glad we found such a wonderful family to watch Sophie while we were away for a few days. Our family friend who watches her was away and Joseph was quick to respond with a meet and greet request before booking. Kat is a great doggo host. She is very knowledgeable about K9's and treated my pup like her own. She is very communicative, sends pictures while your pup is staying with her along with any updates on the shenanigans going on while staying with her. Vanessa is wonderful! She watched our dog for over a week and sent us pictures and videos every day of his stay! She gave him toys to play with, frequent walks, bones to chew and her own dog to play with! And, when our flight home was delayed by 6 hours, she was super gracious and kept him an extra night without any issues. She’s very friendly, kind and a true dog person. I highly recommend her!!
