About: I grow up having dogs and cats. They slept in bed with me and my sister. I am kind, responsible and will take great care of you best friend. I have a Chorkie a mix of Yorkshire and chihuahua . Her name is Suzy. She s about 8 pounds. She is my princess and she is an amazing, caring and lovable dog. I am currently working full-time at home. So I will have time to play with your pups! Feed and walk. I am available for boarding some weekends, and weekdays. From 8-5. I don’t have a fence yard. I will always have to leash your dog for walks. I have Suzy that loves to play but I will set times because they never know when to stop. I can also create if necessary and if you require.
“Adriana has been so wonderful every step of the way! She was very flexible when I needed to reschedule our meet and greet. She welcomed my family and dog into her beautiful home and has a great set up for hosting dogs. She has a perfect fenced backyard and we were able to see how her dog and cat interacted with our high energy dog. We had a last-minute change of travel plans due to illness and Adriana was so kind and helped us figure out a new plan. Once we dropped off our dog she sent frequent video and photo updates. Her family made sure he had a lot of play time and exercise through games in their yard and neighborhood walks. She is very organized, kind and a great communicator. I highly recommend her and we will definitely trust her with our dog for future travel.”

“Joseph and his family were great sitters. They took care of our boy like he was their own. Their home and outdoor space is safe and spacious for dogs to get plenty of exercise. They were also very accommodating when we had a change in travel plans. I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again as a sitter.”

“Ruth was absolutely wonderful and very flexible! She and Roxy welcomed Pablo and made him comfortable and happy from the moment one. I was comfortable knowing that my senior pup is in loving and experienced hands. He had a great time socializing, walking and enjoying Ruth's backyard. Thank you so much!!”

About: I've been pet sitting for friends and family for years and love it, so I've made it formal through Rover. I'm reliable, organized, and genuinely enjoy caring for animals. I have a background working with dogs, cats, small animals, and exotics (frogs, ferrets, birds, hamsters, mice, and more). Red Cross Pet First Aid certified as of 6/13/26. My own cat, Juniper, is part of the household, so I'm practiced at multi-pet dynamics, including with both cats and dogs. I have a large fenced yard and flexible space to accommodate different comfort levels between animals. Pet sitting fits naturally into my life. I work full-time but I'm selective about bookings and plan in advance. I typically board one family at a time and keep concurrent bookings minimal (2 pets max) so I can give full attention. I have a standing commitment Wednesday evenings in the Fall and Spring for only a couple hours and work around it when needed. Saturdays vary week to week, and I'm flexible about drop-in visits around my schedule, but will confirm with pet parents in advance. The key is advance planning. I ask for at least a week's notice whenever possible so both of us can prepare. I turn down bookings if there's a genuine conflict that week rather than overcommit. In my home (boarding): I have a large fenced yard, climate-controlled space, and the ability to section off areas if animals need separation for comfort. My own cat, Juniper, is here, so I manage multi-pet dynamics carefully. I watch for stress signals and adjust setup as needed. Routines are consistent (feeding times, potty breaks, exercise), and I monitor behavior closely for anything unusual. I'll provide updates and photos to set your mind at ease while you're away from your pet. In your home (drop-ins): I'll follow your instructions—feeding schedules, medication, play preferences, access restrictions. I'll check in, take photos/notes for updates, and flag any concerns immediately. Always: Red Cross Pet First Aid certified. If something feels off such as a behavior change, health concern, stress, I share as soon as I notice. As a pet owner myself, I treat you and your pet like I'd want someone treating me and mine.

“Tilly seemed to enjoy her overnight stay and interacted well with Alexandra’s dog. There was excellent communication between us with several great status photos provided. Will certainly use her services again!”

“Damaris was great from the first instant that I contacted her on Rover! Since this was my first time leaving my puppy anywhere, I felt a little worried at first... Damaris met with us at the park a few days before making a reservation and that made a huge difference. She really knows dogs!!! She gave me a lot of good feedback and information about dogs' behavior that I wasn't even aware of. My puppy spent one night with Damaris and all I can say is that I felt extremely comfortable and pleased with her service. We are so thankful to have found the best dog sitter for our beloved puppy! Thank you and see you soon Damaris ?”

“Jessica and Breyin watched our dog and 2 cats for us while we were away for just over a week. Jessica sent us pictures and updates. Would definitely recommend them and book again!”

“Vanessa was great! She treated my girls like they were her own, which is exactly what I was looking for in a sitter. She kept me updated on how they were doing with plenty of pictures. My girls were treated to many walks, plenty of play time, and cuddles. I’m so relieved to have found Vanessa!”

“Kate was just amazing! She took excellent care of my dog Max. She sent daily updates so I wouldn’t worry while traveling. She’s the best! Max loves her and so do I — definitely rebooking her!”

“Faith took such good care of our Sadie girl. She was quick to respond when I checked in to see how she was doing and was very organized in asking for our vet’s info, emergency contact while we were out of the country, and vaccination record. I felt at ease knowing Sadie was having fun and being well taken care of!”

“Five stars isn’t enough!! My 4 month old doodle stayed with Linda for 7 days and I think we really lucked out. This was my first time using Rover and wasn’t looking forward to my newest family member having to stay with a stranger. We did a meet and greet to make sure all the pups would get along which went well. Before the stay she kept in touch and asked for details on my dog’s daily schedule so she could follow it. Super! While on my business trip she kept in touch with multiple pictures and videos each day. My mind was at ease because of Linda and her communication. If you have a nice dog who needs an EXCELLENT place to stay, don’t hesitate to reach out to her. She is an hour away from my home and I will use her services every time I go out of town and am not able to bring my pooch. A great safe, normal household with a huge backyard and her own doodles. Thank you for caring for my puppy like he was your own and we will be seeing you again.”

“Five stars is not enough! We left Chewbacca with Karen for a few days this week. Chewbacca has various specific needs, including oral medication and prescription diet, and he gets very nervous when first dropped off. We have never had such a strong sense of peace of mind with a dog sitter as we did this weekend. Karen was extremely communicative, updated us through text and pictures throughout the day, and always made sure to go the extra mile so Chewbacca felt safe and cared for. We will absolutely be calling her again!”

“Julia is AMAZING and made me feel at ease when leaving my pup with her when he wasn't feeling 100%. She gave me updates as needed and I was able to enjoy my vacation to the fullest knowing Julia was willing and able to do what was needed to make Lincoln feel comfortable and at home!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Dracut
AMAZING experience for (me and) my dog Milo!! Kelly and her family, including her sweet dog, Mickey, were welcoming, accommodating, loving and gentle throughout my dog's stay at their house. From the meet up to pick up, they had nothing but love and patience for my shy rescue. He quickly settled in. The pictures, videos, and reports she updated me with over 10 days show him happy, relaxed and thriving. Her home and back yard are lovely and safe for dogs to run around and be themselves. A wonderful experience for Milo and a great comfort for me while I had to be away from him. Highly recommend!!!! 🐾

Williana did an amazing job with are dog Gizmo. She kept us updated every day with pictures and letting us know how he was doing. We were afraid he wasn’t gonna eat, and she got him to eat. She made him feel comfortable. They went for walks and Gizmo got to enjoy being in the nice big back yard. Gizmo also made a new friend Ripley. Would definitely leave Gizmo again. Thank you so much Williana for taking such good care of Gizmo!

Kelsey is amazing! We were able to enjoy our time away without any worry because of how reliable, capable, and kind she is. She sent a few pictures of their cuddles, but otherwise, focused all her attention on him throughout the weekend. We (and Ralphie) would love to have her puppysit again!

We are so grateful to have found Jessica and Breyin! Our cat requires medication and has 3 legs. She was loved and had the best care staying with Jessica and Breyin. We got pictures and updates throughout vacation which makes any pet mama’s heart full! Thank you Jessica and Breyin!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
