About: Hello all, I am a pet care professional and independent business owner. My focus is on doggy daycare and walking, but I also do boarding in my home based on availability, dog size and disposition. We share our home with two friendly cats and kids, so compatibility is important. I am willing and able to continue with your dog's training exercises on visits, just tell me your routine! I can accommodate play groups as availability allows, with your permission. I can also do combined walks with other dogs for socialization or if your dog does not like other dogs, we can do solo walks. I'm currently working as a stay at home mom, and hoping to revitalize my doggy daycare and walking business now that I've relocated and covid is over. We live in a dog friendly, huge loft in Lowell with a lot of space and sunshine. We have a nice canal path surrounding our building, perfect for walks and happy smells.
“Samantha did a great job caring for my puppy. She really took a liking to him and treated him very well. I loved that she kept me updated with pictures throughout the day. I would definitely book with her again !!”

About: Hi I’m Nathan, Lacey’s son! I have a pitbull terrier who’s 10 but still loves to have fun. I love animals and have been caring for them for over 5 years. Including all different ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I am fun, energetic, dependable and love creating bonds with each unique animal. Your pets health and safety are the most important thing, so I am always sure to keep you in the loop! I look forward to meeting you and your furry family! I’m available all throughout the summer. I have my mom here with me to help when need be. I’m a passionate animal caregiver and lover. I live with my mom, and my dog Tilly, in a suburban neighborhood in LowelI. She is 10 and up to date with all shots. I take Tilly on a walk in the morning as well as throughout the day as she needs. She is very well behaved and does great with other dogs and cats. “This was our first experience using Rover and we couldn’t be more pleased. Charlotte, Jordan and Kyber were so welcoming from our very first meet and greet that we felt Bentley would be in great hands. During our trip we received great photos of Bentley enjoying his time with Kyber, as they quickly became best buds. We look forward to having Bentley visit again with Charlotte, Jordan and Kyber.”

Ashley was awesome and we loved her. Her communication was fast as it was a last minute reservation. She understood our dogs need and behaviour instantly. She really took very good care of our fur baby. He was very happy and had a great time with Ashley and her dog. We and our fur baby is very happy with Ashley and how she cared for our dog. We would certainly go back to her.
Kavitha was wonderful - she was warm, attentive, and clearly loves dogs. The large, fenced yard and her friendly dog, Toby, were additional pluses that made the experience even better. She sent regular updates, followed our routine perfectly, and my dog came home happy and well cared for. We'll definitely be booking with her again!
Tyson had a wonderful time with tom and his family. He well well cared for and well loved. We were happy they had a fenced in yard for him to run around. Tyson is high energy, but just as cuddly at the end of the day. We had never left him with a sitter before. He was a rescue and we were nervous about how he would do. Tom Is definitely a dog lover and truly took great care. he sent us pictures and videos to keep us informed. We will definitely use Tom again.

Emily was so caring, thoughtful, and attentive to our puppy’s needs! She regularly updated us, sent photos and videos, and made his stay better than we could have imagined. Her dog was so sweet to ours, as this was his first time being with another dog for an extended period of time. I would HIGHLY recommend Emily to watch your pets! She is experienced, comprehensive, and so so caring!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
