âMichelle took care of our lab and German shepherd for a couple of days and she was exceptional! Our dogs had so much fun, we frequently got updates, her communication was great! Our dogs are exhausted, which is always a good thing!! Highly recommend!â

âWe boarded our dog and cat for a week. Likun is very experienced and attentive in taking care of both cats and dogs. We received daily updates and she also replied to our messages very promptly. Her Border Collie is so sweet and gentil. Our puppy was really happy she has a mature big sister and perfect playmate! The home is well equipped to take care of multiple pets and her backyard is perfect for dogs to play in.â

âBridget was fabulous. Blue had some digestive issues. We communicated with Bridget ahead of time and she was extremely supportive and helpful. She administered new food and medicine while Blue was there. She is an absolute pro and awesome to work with!â

âVanessa was great! She treated my girls like they were her own, which is exactly what I was looking for in a sitter. She kept me updated on how they were doing with plenty of pictures. My girls were treated to many walks, plenty of play time, and cuddles. Iâm so relieved to have found Vanessa!â

âDonnie was great with our dog, Kira! She usually gets nervous going/staying at new places as she is a little bit older, but she was comfortable and took to Donnie great. Drop off was easy and smooth, as well as pick up. Super impressed with the flexibility, last minute changes and him open to doing a âtrail runâ with us to make sure everything would go ok. His training skills were amazing and taught us a few tricks, which was super kind! Would definitely recommend him to watch your pup!â

âCaty and her family are great. They treated Sagan like one of their own and developed a good bond with him. This was our first time leaving him with a sitter so he experienced a bit of separation anxiety but Caty and her family were very patient and helped him through it. Thank you for taking good care of our buddy.â

âGabriel is a wonderful guy, it is obvious how caring he is with the dogs. The videos were wonderful seeing our furry family member while away. I will definitely use Gabriel for my next need of Doggy Careâ

âMy dog Miko seems to have enjoyed his stay at Sara's place. He came back all relaxed, complete opposite experience of leaving him in a pet hotel where he came back agitated for many days. Sara's place is perfect with a big fenced garden so he could play freely with her dog and others. I can only recommend her.â

âKourtney was great with our pup, Carl. Carl is an energetic guy and Kourtney provided all that he needed in his 9 day stay. Kourtneyâs communication with us before and during his stay was professional and timely. We would use Kourtneyâs services again đŻ.â

âWe are so pleased with Stacey's in-home care of our dog. She treated him like her own, kept us up to date with his activity, eating and sleeping, and she shared many photos. Stacey is easy to work with and reliable. Her fenced in yard is a bonus. Wouldn't hesitate to schedule again with Stacey!â

About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. I have carried those skills over to training other foster puppies and my personal dog. I have a medical background (EMT) and my daughter is a Vet Tech so I am very comfortable working with animals with medical needs and will follow any required medical plan. In addition to dogs and cats, I'd love to meet\care for your backyard farm animals; horses, pot-bellied pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, etc. I have experience with some of these animals through ownership and fostering opportunities. I'm open to meeting and learning about new friends. We currently have 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 horses in our home. All our animals are our babies and I'll care for yours as if they were my own. I'm currently unemployed so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I'm available for petsitting any day of the week and can work around any personal appointments. Boarding in my home is restricted to cats or other small animals. Puppies (under 1 year) may be accomodated, no adult dogs. For cats; we have a dedicated "cat room" to keep your pet separated from our pets. The room has a screen door so they don't feel locked away and can be part of our household while remaining safe. I will follow your pet care plan while in your home. For Puppies; all dogs are fed separately to avoid food aggression situations. All puppies will be crated for meals and sleeping overnight. If your puppy is not crate trained, I will work with them to ensure they are comfortable and not afraid. I can support your potty training schedule to maintain consistency.

âJulia was an excellent sitter for our dog Nacho. Her children were very excited to have him over and definitely helped to tire him out. We got regular updates with pictures & it looked like he was having a blast!â

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Westford
Kavitha was wonderful - she was warm, attentive, and clearly loves dogs. The large, fenced yard and her friendly dog, Toby, were additional pluses that made the experience even better. She sent regular updates, followed our routine perfectly, and my dog came home happy and well cared for. We'll definitely be booking with her again!
Max had a great stay! Angelina was very caring, communicative, and flexible throughout the boarding. We really appreciated all the photo and video updates, which made us feel comfortable knowing Max was doing well and being well taken care of. He seemed very relaxed and happy during his stay. Would definitely recommend and would happily book again!

Lisa was amazing with our dog, Kora! She went above and beyond, gave us regular updates, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. We could tell Kora was happy and well cared for. Highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter!

We canât recommend Connor enough!! We were in a tight spot having to be out of town less than a week after welcoming our new German Shepherd puppy. After reaching out to Connor with all the details, he took on Beau for a whole week and was extremely communicative sending updates and photos/videos which we so appreciated! He worked through Beauâs uncertainty eating out of a bowl and even found the time to start working on some simple commands with him. Connor was extremely prepared with all of the necessities like a pen, a crate, extra poop bags, and some fun treats that Beau loved too. Connor was a total life saver and we wouldnât hesitate to have him watch Beau again next time weâre away!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Roverâs reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
