Initially before my Scottie Dog’s daycare, we did a “Meet and Greet”, which gave Jack an opportunity to interact with Kavita’s dog, Toby. Toby was very welcoming to another dog to share his spacious fenced in backyard. The next day, I dropped off Jack, who was eager to meet his new dog friend, Toby. During the day, Kavita sent me a photo, and video of Jack’s outside activity. It was very reassuring to know that my pet was doing just fine interacting with the other dogs.

Liza is great. She is caring and really treats her four legged guests well. Our foster dog clearly enjoyed his first day with Liza and is looking forward to his return. He returned home properly worn out from playing with his new friends.

About: I’ve raised three dogs from puppies to adulthood, so I have years of hands-on experience with dogs of different ages and personalities. Now, when my friends travel, they trust me to take care of their dogs at my home. I treat every dog like my own — with patience, love, and attention to their individual needs. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, relaxed, and happy, just like they would at home. Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine. I am at home 24/7, so your dog will never be left alone. I has plenty of time to feed, walk, and care for each pet with love and attention. Our neighborhood is quiet with very little traffic, making it a safe and peaceful place for walks and play. Your dog will always have someone nearby for company and comfort. We provide a clean, safe, and pet-friendly home where dogs can relax and feel at ease. I am always at home to supervise and care for the pets, ensuring they’re never left alone. We don’t use cages — dogs are free to roam, rest, or play as they wish. Our quiet neighborhood with low traffic offers a safe environment for walks. We keep a close eye on each pet’s well-being and behavior. Every pet is treated like family, with patience, love, and constant care.

About: I adopted my dog 7 years ago, and have helped her navigate the world as an anxious doggo. I’m well versed with medication admin, am very patient and take the time to understand a dog’s body language. Love doggos, belly rubs, behind the ear scratches and cuddles are my specialty ☺️ During the day I mainly work from home and my schedule is pretty flexible to fit in walks and feedings. Also able to stay home more if boarding pets. There is a smal fenced dog park in my building also lots of walking areas (not fenced) but very safe. Not traffic around and lots of friendly dogs, respectful of each other’s spaces

I understand how important your fur baby is to you, and I treat every dog like my own — with patience, attention, and lots of playtime. Your pup is in great hands! I work part-time, so I have plenty of time and flexibility throughout the day to give your pup the attention they deserve. I’m available midday and afternoons, making me a great fit for dogs who need midday check-ins or walks. I live in a cozy 1-bedroom apartment with my own friendly, socialized dog — so your pup will always have a playmate! I keep a safe, pet-proofed space and treat every dog like family.

Ralph is amazing with dogs. He took care of my dog in a pinch and very last minute and he not only was flexible but also very kind and loving to my dog. My dog took to him right away, dogs know dog lovers! His updates and pictures he shared of my dog throughout the day showed a happy puppy! My dog came home and just slept, he exercised so much with Ralph. I will definitely hire him again for doggy day care and boarding.

Cindy is so attentive to all the dogs that she cares for, there is great outdoor space for them to play, a lovely screened in porch and inside her home by her side to rest. I trust her and her two pups are so good with all doggie guests! So glad I found her, Daisy and Gummy!

Ok, so Lola and I are quite picky. Lola has come home very happy over all the days that she has been over. She’s been walked, fed, and got to play with other dogs. I’m extremely happy with her care. :)

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since the day I was born! I grew up with a mini poodle named Whoopi (named after my fav actor, Whoopi Goldberg, of course!) and an adorably feisty orange cat named Rainbow. I’m currently working part-time and have a flexible schedule, so I can meet all pet care needs. My house has a partially fenced backyard and lots of beautiful local trails for taking long walks. I’m an endurance athlete so you can count on me to go the distance to take good care of your fur child(ren). I have space to crate dogs in my home, if needed, and they are welcome on my couch. My kids are 13 and 8 and my 3 year old cat Taco is friendly. I look forward to meeting your fur baby (and you) soon! My communication style is clear and straightforward. You can count on me to diligently care for your fur baby! When you get them back, you’ll be thrilled about how well-cared for and happy they are.

This was Ace’s first visit with Theresa, who conscientiously made sure the visit was safe by contacting the owner of another dog she was watching at the same time to make sure it was okay and by hosting a pre-meet to make sure the dogs got along together. For the actual visit, Theresa and family welcomed Ace warmly and provided a safe and fun environment. Highly recommended.

Cheryl has a great setup and is a dog lover and incredible resource! We had a meet and greet prior to the day I dropped off my 4 month old puppy and I felt at ease leaving her there (her first daycare experience which could’ve been nerve wracking but I knew she’d be in great hands). My pup was tired from playing and learning from the other dogs there and slept so well after! I will be using Cheryl’s services again in the future!

About: Six years of cuddles, walks, and playtime have made me a true pet enthusiast! I know how much pets enrich our lives, and I'm eager to share that love with your furry friend. I'm experienced in providing engaging activities and creating a fun, safe environment for your pet to thrive. I work from home and can fit in schedules during the week. I have a unfixed, male Beagle, Leo - who is a sweetheart and is very calm and mingles well with to other dogs. He mostly loves to laze around once he's had his fill. I have an enclosed sun room for the pet to relax and bask in the sun. The neighbourhood is very calm, safe and pet friendly.

Lisa was wonderful with our puppy Vivi! This was our first time leaving her, and Lisa really helped ease any anxiety we had. She took the time to make sure Vivi was comfortable, sent lots of updates, and was so understanding about how timid Vivi can be around other dogs and new environments. We definitely recommend her—book with Lisa, you’ll be glad you did!

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Westford

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Westford on Rover is $44.4 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 2,848 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Westford. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Westford commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,848 sitters in Westford, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
