“Donnie is the man. An absolute life saver. My girls story is long so I won’t get into details. When I came across Donnie on Rover, and after reading his profile and reviews, I felt he was the one for Nala. We did a meet and greet and within seconds of meeting us he corrected me on what I was doing wrong. I respected that, because to me that showed me he straight up and real. Also, he was the very first K9 professional that didn’t sell me dreams and he made no promises. He gives off a bright welcoming glow and is always sporting a huge smile. Since Nala has been attending his daycare she has become a completely different dog. A dog that i had always hope for her. She definitely has a ways to go, but my goodness has she come far. Last night, for the very first time in her entire life, as I came up to her she rolled on her back and gave me her belly. I know that is something very small, but for us it’s huge!!!! About: I am a true animal lover, I have had dogs, cats and horses my whole life from puppy to elderly. I am a horse/ dog person and a semi retired Artist/Painter who works from home. I have a beautiful old farmhouse that is completely dog friendly. I created my back yard for my dogs, its one acre fenced and would rival any dog park. Off the kitchen I have a screen porch with fans that is adjacent to an outdoor umbrella covered stone patio with a stone ramp rather than stairs that leads to the back yard. In the summer there is a pool I fill on warm days for the pups to play in. The yard has shade areas, sun areas and woodland areas as well as outdoor hot and cold running water. I have dozens of dogs that come to stay with me several times a year for the past several years, each pull on their lead to get in and owners/parents are so thrilled that their dog is so happy to be here. I send image updates while you are away to show you what fun your dog is having. my house is dog heaven!!! Dogs have always been part of my life, and will always be. I am a true animal person. I love them all and will take care of your fur baby as if he or she was my own. I have a fenced yard and one wonderful 45 lb female retriever rescue mix. I also have a cat, I have the ability to put the cat in the other part of the house if needed. Please advise me if your dog does not like cats when booking and again prior to your arriving. Your dog is welcome to sleep where he or she likes, if you have a special bed or crate you are welcome to bring it. Dogs are only allowed in the back yard and house I do not allow any dogs in the front yard and request when you bring them in they are on leash. My front yard is walled and gated leashing them is just a double precaution due to the road. I do not accept any dog that will try to escape, is not dog friendly, aggressive or is destructive. This is a fabulous environment, all the dogs get along and have fun. It’s a vacation or camp for your pup.
About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, having owned and been with many dogs throughout my life. I provide a safe environment with a large yard, stay home full-time during care, administer medications when needed, and have personally trained each of my dogs, including my French bulldog, Rodolfo. About: I grew up around dogs my whole life so I’m used to being around them. I also have had one other dog before and now have a mini dachshund. I’m very comfortable with taking care of dogs and having them in my space. I work a full time job at home, but I’m in control of my own schedule and am very flexible. I’m also available weekends and in the summer, I’m even more flexible. I take my dog out 2-3x a day depending on weather. We go on walk across the street at the park for about 15-20 min and when we are back inside, he is allowed to roam freely. He eats 2x a day with snacks in between and he always has water out. I play with him as much as I can throughout the day to make sure he doesn’t get too bored with his day too! My apartment is always clean to ensure that my pup doesn’t get into anything he isn’t supposed to. Lastly, my apartment building is secure as you need a key fob or someone to buzz you in to enter the building.
