“Our first time using Rover, and Violet, for sitting our two cats. Violet was friendly and quick to respond to our text messages. Our initial meet and greet went well, and Violet was very good with our kitten and senior cat, listened to our requests and asked good questions. Sitting visits appear to have gone well, and we arrived home to happy kitties! Instructions were left with the food and medication set-up for easy reference. Violet provided timely check-ins through the app, and play time, scooped litter, fed both cats as instructed, and medication given to our senior cat. We received photos with the Rover Card message for each visit, which were very appreciated. Violet respected our home and removed her shoes when visiting, cleaned a little spit-up accident, and even brought in a package that was delivered during our absence. We were very happy with Violet’s service and will be reaching out to her again for any future sitting needs! Thumbs-up in our book! Thanks very much Violet!!”

About: I have lots of animals myself. 3 dogs, 4 outdoor rabbits and 3 guinea pigs.On the weekends I drag my family to go see puppies. I prefer dogs over most people. They make my heart happy. I’ve always had animals. My dream job is to have an animal sanctuary. I would love to help you with your babies! I currently work as a hairstylist. However I’m a mother of two and it’s getting quite challenging to work as far as I do with my life being more in this direction. My dream job is to have an animal sanctuary of my own so I don’t have to turn away any animal and can save them all. On the weekends I drag my family to see puppies. I would love to be able to cut down my full time job and get become more involved with pet walking/sitting. It will be good for the soul. I have lots of animals at home and small children so I probably wouldn’t watch anyone in my house right off the bat. But in their house I would love to cuddle, give treats, walk play and give all the love they need as if they were my own.

About: I've been around animals my whole life. I grew up with dogs, and these days I'm often the person friends and family call when they need someone to look after their pets. I've spent plenty of time walking dogs, feeding them, playing with them, and making sure they're well cared for while their owners are away. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, including larger, high-energy breeds. I enjoy getting to know each animal's personality and building trust with them. I've even trained my own cats to do tricks and respond to commands using positive reinforcement. Taking care of animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I take the responsibility seriously because I know how much people's pets mean to them. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, which gives me the flexibility to provide walks, drop-in visits, and pet care throughout the day. Because I work a consistent schedule and plan my time carefully, I can be reliable and punctual when it comes to pet care. When I'm caring for a pet in their home, I follow the owner's instructions and make sure they're getting everything they need, whether that's walks, meals, playtime, medications, or just some company while their owner is away. Some pets want lots of attention and activity, while others are happier with a quieter approach and a little extra patience. I'm comfortable with both. Safety is always important to me. One of my previous dogs, who has since passed, had diabetes and required insulin shots and went blind but I took care of her for years after her diagnosis before she passed from natural causes. A typical visit includes 15-20 minutes of play with your pet depending on energy levels, lots of positive attention and love, feeding and making sure they have access to water and making sure any business is done. As an overnight visitor, often for pets with anxiety or special needs/senior pets, I am with your pet in your home from 10pm-8am, plus visits during any of their usual scheduled feedings. As a dog walker, you can expect me to arrive and provide a full 30 minute walk to your pet. If you book through rover, you can also get a map of the walk we did, how long it took, and I provide pictures along the way. When it's time to go home, I make sure they and your home are safe and secure.

About: I have grown up in a house with multiple dogs and cats, so I am extremely comfortable working with pets as being with them is all I have ever known. I participate in the Dog for a Day program at ACCT Philly, so I have experience in taking shelter dogs out for the day. I love taking my own dog on different adventures. About: I grew up around animals of all sorts. My grandfather had huge hunting hounds and cats. My other grandfather had a german shepherd who would pull my sled in winter. When I was seven years old I helped my father train our puppy. I love animals they always have a way of making me smile. I’m a stay at home mom to two wonderful children who are both at school.
