“We are SO grateful to find Ralph and he took amazing care of our Aussie-mix while we were away. You can tell that he is a dog lover and knows how to handle high-energy dogs that are too smart for their own good, which always makes me nervous when I need to travel. With many long walks, plays, scritches, and cuddles I couldn't asked for a better person than Ralph. He provided daily updates and was very responsive which gave me so much peace of mind knowing that my first-born is in such caring hands. Thank you so much Ralph for treating Morty like family and we will see you soon!”

“Adriana has been so wonderful every step of the way! She was very flexible when I needed to reschedule our meet and greet. She welcomed my family and dog into her beautiful home and has a great set up for hosting dogs. She has a perfect fenced backyard and we were able to see how her dog and cat interacted with our high energy dog. We had a last-minute change of travel plans due to illness and Adriana was so kind and helped us figure out a new plan. Once we dropped off our dog she sent frequent video and photo updates. Her family made sure he had a lot of play time and exercise through games in their yard and neighborhood walks. She is very organized, kind and a great communicator. I highly recommend her and we will definitely trust her with our dog for future travel.”

“Angelina was fantastic! She took great care of Sammy, and sent us lots of photos while we were away. Excellent communication and very easy to work with. I would absolutely ask Angelina to watch Sammy again!! Thank you!”

“Cherie was a wonderful host for our dog, Hudson! She kept me updated with notes and pictures throughout the week we were away on vacation. Her family was so kind and responsive and I had no doubts that Hudson was receiving the best care! I would absolutely recommend Cherie to anyone looking for a safe and happy environment for their pet.”

“Ashley was awesome and we loved her. Her communication was fast as it was a last minute reservation. She understood our dogs need and behaviour instantly. She really took very good care of our fur baby. He was very happy and had a great time with Ashley and her dog. We and our fur baby is very happy with Ashley and how she cared for our dog. We would certainly go back to her.”
“This was our first experience using Rover and we couldn’t be more pleased. Charlotte, Jordan and Kyber were so welcoming from our very first meet and greet that we felt Bentley would be in great hands. During our trip we received great photos of Bentley enjoying his time with Kyber, as they quickly became best buds. We look forward to having Bentley visit again with Charlotte, Jordan and Kyber.”

About: I work from home in Amherst and my dog Wally is a friendly 35-pound rat terrier/beagle mix! I prefer to have just one dog at a time and am open to boarding and doggy day-care at the moment. I do require that your pet be house-trained! I work from home and have a large fenced-in backyard and the friendliest dog to keep your dog company all day. I'm comfortable with dogs on furniture and only allow one dog at a time, so your pet gets maximum attention. I have a fenced in, large backyard and a very friendly 8-year old, 35-pound rat terrier/beagle mix named Wally. I work from home full-time and only intend to care for one dog at a time, so your pet will have maximum attention. I can accommodate both crate-trained and those who never were.
“Lupa received so much love staying with Rebeca and family. He enjoyed playing with Olivia and his other dog buddies so much that on the many pictures and updates I received from Rebeca, he was smiling on most of them. Rebeca was also very accommodating with me requesting additional care within a short time frame. Lupa enjoyed the outings outside their home and every part of the stay. I feel relieved to know that I can contact Rebeca and family if I need to be away!”

“François was absolutely fantastic. He went over our routine with Atlas and took Atlas for multiple long walks - Atlas was in heaven. François kept us up-to-date on their activities together and was easy to communicate with!”

“We could not be happier with how the weekend went with Donnie! First of all, he took us in super last minute, made time for a meet and greet first and completely put our minds at ease. He is extremely knowledgeable and we could tell right away that he treats each dog in his care individually. There is no one size fits all with Donnie, he took the time to get to know our dog and what he needed for care. We will definitely be using Donnie again, highly, HIGHLY recommend.”

“Jennifer and her family were so wonderful. They provided a lovely and safe home for Walter while we were on vacation. Her dog Molly even taught our dog good manners. Highly recommended!!!”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
