“Initially before my Scottie Dog’s daycare, we did a “Meet and Greet”, which gave Jack an opportunity to interact with Kavita’s dog, Toby. Toby was very welcoming to another dog to share his spacious fenced in backyard. The next day, I dropped off Jack, who was eager to meet his new dog friend, Toby. During the day, Kavita sent me a photo, and video of Jack’s outside activity. It was very reassuring to know that my pet was doing just fine interacting with the other dogs.”

About: I am a true animal lover, I have had dogs, cats and horses my whole life from puppy to elderly. I am a horse/ dog person and a semi retired Artist/Painter who works from home. I have a beautiful old farmhouse that is completely dog friendly. I created my back yard for my dogs, its one acre fenced and would rival any dog park. Off the kitchen I have a screen porch with fans that is adjacent to an outdoor umbrella covered stone patio with a stone ramp rather than stairs that leads to the back yard. In the summer there is a pool I fill on warm days for the pups to play in. The yard has shade areas, sun areas and woodland areas as well as outdoor hot and cold running water. I have dozens of dogs that come to stay with me several times a year for the past several years, each pull on their lead to get in and owners/parents are so thrilled that their dog is so happy to be here. I send image updates while you are away to show you what fun your dog is having. my house is dog heaven!!! Dogs have always been part of my life, and will always be. I am a true animal person. I love them all and will take care of your fur baby as if he or she was my own. I have a fenced yard and one wonderful 45 lb female retriever rescue mix. I also have a cat, I have the ability to put the cat in the other part of the house if needed. Please advise me if your dog does not like cats when booking and again prior to your arriving. Your dog is welcome to sleep where he or she likes, if you have a special bed or crate you are welcome to bring it. Dogs are only allowed in the back yard and house I do not allow any dogs in the front yard and request when you bring them in they are on leash. My front yard is walled and gated leashing them is just a double precaution due to the road. I do not accept any dog that will try to escape, is not dog friendly, aggressive or is destructive. This is a fabulous environment, all the dogs get along and have fun. It’s a vacation or camp for your pup.

Dogs are let out every 3–4 hours for bathroom breaks to ensure comfort and consistency. I’m happy to adjust routines to match your pet’s specific needs and schedule. Your pet(s) safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a secure, welcoming home with a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and a quiet, dog-friendly neighbourhood perfect for walks. Do you have a dog that isn’t so keen on canine companionship? Not to worry! We provide a split yard, and my dog is good at respecting boundaries if another dog isn’t interested in interactions. This is a kennel-free home, however we do have a kennel indoor if that is a part of your pet(s) safety routine. Other than that I provide a dog bed or if your dog is a snuggler, they are welcome to sleep on the bed with me. My senior dog is gentle and playful, offering a calm companionship to your fur baby. My cats keep to themselves and if needed, I can always separate pets who aren’t comfortable with one another. I have a separate litter box for your cat(s) to use that is kept in another area of the home to prevent any territory conflict. About: I’ve had my dog for 6 years since she was a puppy. She is house trained and is trained to be out without a leash. She is great with children and other dogs. I’m currently a college student so I have 1-2 classes a day with breaks in between. My classes are only 1-2.5 hours and don’t consume too much of my time. I have a huge fenced in your with more than enough space for a big dog to run around and play and release any stored up energy they might have. I also live in a nice quiet neighborhood that is perfect to go on walks.
