“First time using Avery and she was wonderful! She arrived at the agreed upon time, communicated well and sent daily pictures of Ranger and Daisy. She followed instructions for feeding and engaged well with our dogs for play. When we returned our dogs were happy and had obviously been well cared for. Avery stayed at our house since our dogs do best in their own home. She left the house spotless. We will definitely book with Avery again.”

“Emily helped us out with a last-minute booking and she was great!! Emily communicated well, took great care of our pets, and is very friendly. She sent lots of pictures and updates. Thanks, Emily!”

“OMG we went on vacation for three weeks and left our cat and our home in the care of Lilian, who was a rockstar. She took care of everything, followed all of our instructions and when we came home this time our cat was completely at ease. Usually when we return home from vacation, whether it's a week or longer and we have somebody stop in, we hear it from the cat for a good two weeks waking us up early in the morning rauling, but this time Bella just showed love and has been 100% normal. We would hire her again in our heartbeat. Best decision we ever made!”

“Jennifer did a great job staying in our home and taking care of our dog. She communicated very clearly, gave good updates (with photos), and our dog seemed happy, relaxed, and well taken care of when we returned home. We would absolutely book here again to dog and house sit”

“This was our first time using Julia and we were gone for a week. She did a wonderful job taking care of our golden retriever and our home. She shared pictures, gave updates and even shared concerns when she noticed changes in our dog and worked collaboratively with us to problem solve. She went the extra mile and took care of our trash, ran the dishwasher, washed, dried and made the bed before our return, which was greatly appreciated because I hate laundry! lol. We wouldn't hesitate in having Julia come stay again in the future!”

“We recently went on vacation and entrusted our dog, Oakley, to Philip through Rover, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! From the start, Philip was professional, communicative, and truly cared for Oakley like he was his own. Philip followed all of our instructions carefully, from Oakley’s feeding schedule to his nightly routines. He ensured Oakley got plenty of walks, playtime, and snuggles, which put our minds at ease while we were away. It was clear from the updates and photos he sent that Oakley was happy, relaxed, and in great hands. We also appreciated that Philip respected our home, leaving everything just as we left it. His reliability and genuine love for animals make him an excellent pet sitter, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book him again. If you're looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after your pet, we highly recommend Philip! Thank you again, Philip, for taking such wonderful care of Oakley!”

“Maddox was a great dog sitter. The animals loved him and were very well behaved. My home was cleaner than I left it and the puppies were happy boys all day. Would definitely recommend.”

“Nicole took such great care of all three of our furry men and our home! She provided prompt communication, pictures, and went the extra mile like brining in our trash cans, etc. at the house. Thank you Nicole!”

“Nikki did a great job caring for my two Bostons! She was warm, friendly and detail oriented about the specifics of their needs. I got pictures and updates while I was away, which was great because I missed my boys! She also tidied up before she left, which was great to come home to. Nikki is reliable, dependable, loves dogs, and I would hire her back anytime!”

“So happy to have found Hannah! We have a very large irish wolfhound mix rescue dog who is very anxious. Hannah did a meet and great before our initial booking and she was terrific with him. Was very patient and calm and just let him drive the meeting. While we were away, she was very communicative and provided lots of pictures which made us feel very comfortable that he was being well cared for. She did all that was asked and even had to handle meds for our pup. With her experience and comfort level I won’t hesitate calling on Hannah again to take care of our Charlie.”

“Tom did a great job with Chidi! He can be tricky and he was very patient as Chidi reacclimated. He also shoveled our stairs and cleaned off our car after the snow which was nice to come home to.”

Brittany was an amazing babysitter. She was so respectful. She was so nice. I just can’t say enough about her. I would definitely hire her again. I felt safe with my dogs with her in. The funny thing is that I met her in the past because through Neighbor, so it’s a small world, but I would definitely recommend her. She is a great babysitter. She’s very caring she loves animals. I just can’t say enough positive stuff about the experience we had and this was our first time hiring a babysitter too, and we give it a five star rating.

We loved working with Alana! She was very communicative throughout the sitting and sent plenty of pictures of our dog. Our dog Louie warmed up to Alana right away which speaks volumes about her presence. We look forward to working with Alana again in the future!

Avery was such an incredible pet-sitter. She stayed in my home with my senior cat and older dog for a week, and she updated me daily with tons of photos so I knew they were happy. She really went above and beyond with both of my pets, and on top of that my house was sparkling clean when I got home (with freshly cleaned sheets!!!). I was so nervous about having anyone stay in my home for such a long period of time, but Avery made this trip so much less stressful and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again in the future.

philip was truly an amazing sitter for us, and went above and beyond what we could have hoped for. with a last minute (read: 6 days before we had to fly out!) cancellation for medical reasons, we reached out to philip and he was super quick to respond and accommodate, as a new sitter for us. he even came over within the short timeframe to do a meet and greet with our sweet but anxious lincoln - and lincoln immediately LOVED him! first time i've ever seen our doggo warm up to a person in less than 5 minutes. i appreciated all the photo updates and check ins, and he even left linky a little lamb toy that he had brought that lincoln fell in love with. will definitely be booking again!

Kristina did a fabulous job helping us out in a pinch with our dog, cat, and surprise guest (cat #2). We got in contact with Kristina on short notice and she was amazingly accommodating. She confirmed and patiently waited for my arrival on a FaceTime meet and greet call. I would not have known she was new to the service as she asked great questions and came off as seasoned and skilled. She made us feel like we could trust her from the drop and day of kept us posted with updates and photos. Our dog took to her quickly and she is someone who we would highly recommend as well as use again!
Look no further, Laura is one of the best sitters you will find on Rover. I would like to keep her all to ourselves but she is a rare find, someone who cares for your pet like they’re her own. Laura always leaves the house in better shape than she found it and is super responsive and loving. We’ve tried other sitters when Laura is busy, and so far no one has come even close. Do yourself a favor and book Laura for a stress free vacation.
