“Jenny was so great — responded super quickly to our request, set up a meet and greet, and was wonderful with our pup! He wasn’t even a little upset that we were leaving! Jenny provided lots of pictures to set our minds at ease while we were gone. So glad to have found her!”

“Lee Ann was wonderful. She house sat for us, and took such lovely care of our animals and our home. We have an involved crew and she handled the needs and challenges that arose with understanding and grace. We highly recommend her, and would definitely use her services again.”

“I had a last-minute adjustment to my vacation schedule and needed a sitter and found Shayna. She was super flexible and accommodating, and came to meet my dogs and learn their routine the same day! Shayna provided excellent care for my dogs who are anxious and can sometimes be difficult to care for. I would absolutely use her again for overnight services or walking anytime that we are traveling and she is available! Thank you for taking such good care of my girls💙🐶”

“Mikayla was awesome with our girls and very professional with our house while we were out of town. We came home to happy dogs and a clean home, she was also very good about communication both before and during the trip. Will absolutely use her again.”

“John was fantastic to work with and did an excellent job with our 3 dogs. I worried that three big dogs at different ages and temperaments would be challenging for someone new to take on, but John took the time to learn the routine and kept the dogs exercised, fed and happy while we were on an international trip. I was impressed with his attentiveness, reliability and communication.”
“Stacie has now watched Maxx twice for us and has been wonderful! She has open communication through the entire stay and sends cute photos too! She makes it so I don't have to worry when I am away from home. Can't thank her enough! 😊”
“Theo took care of my four dogs, guinea pig, and chickens in my home for four days. My senior dog has health issues and he tended to him with care. All my pets were well taken care of, given plenty of attention, and happy when we returned. Theo informed me when he needed to leave for a short time and made sure the dogs were all secure in the home in their places of comfort. Theo kept me updated several times during the day and provided photos. He cleaned up after himself and my home was left as he found it. We look forward to having Theo care for our pets in the near future.”
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I grew up with a dog trainer for a parent, aside from our own dogs, we would have clients’ Dogs stay with us as a kenneling alternative. Im super comfortable around them and can’t wait to fill my house with them one day! I am not in a position to have my own, yet, and this is a wonderful way to get my “fix”... kind of like my nieces and nephews, have fun with them but give them back ;) I would love to take care of your baby and give them love and attention in your absence. I love walking and am active! I’m a full time hairstylist and have a range of availability. Thank you so much!
“Caroline was amazing! She communicated well before, during and after her sit. She sent a photo of our pets while we were away. The house looked exactly as we left it when we returned after our time away. And most importantly our two dogs and one cat seemed very happy when we got home.”

“Brandon was great!! Would love to have him stay with out dogs again. He was super communicative, and sent picture updates. He even let Olive sleep in bed with him hahaha. We were nervous with Harvey since he’s a new addition, but he was great with Harvey off leash, and seemed to really enjoy him. He even came back to let our dogs out one last time when we got stuck with airline issues. I Was very thankful that we left our dogs with someone who treated them just as we would. Cannot suggest Brandon enough!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I have always owned multiple dogs at a time. I am open to walking or throwing a ball around. Anything to keep your dogs happy and content. I am currently studying for school. I am free a good amount of time and am open to working around someone’s schedule with good communication. I am open to anything an owner needs based off of what is provided and what the dogs needs. Walking or playing is a given. Learning a dogs schedule is very important to reduce the stress of a new person.
“Becky is wonderful with Buddy and he is excited when she comes over. I feel comfortable leaving him when she is there, she does a great job of sending pictures and asking questions to make sure Buddy is ok. Great job!!!”

“Margaret was super good! She took care of our dog while we were away for 6 days! Sent us a report daily and updated us with pictures! We’re very satisfied, definitely will book again!”

About: I've trained dogs and raised puppies, took care of my grandmother for years(24/7 homecare), I hate theives, I'm loyal and I'm honest/hard working. Animals love me because I'm a child at heart and always will be. I used to help my friend with pet services such as daycare and training until night when we took all the dogs home to their owners. I will do exactly as requested. If you simply want someone to babysit them and or the house, I can do that. If you want someone to only watch them for 2hours, feed them a specific treat at specific times, potty break at specific times, etc, I can do that.

About: I’ve taken care of a few dogs/cats here and there while also having my own in the past from babies to seniors. I’m gentle, loving and care about your pets as if they were my own! I make sure pets get plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, walks, and lots of love throughout the day. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet I care for. I always follow owners’ instructions closely and make sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and treated like family. I’m happy to accommodate feeding schedules, walks, medications, crating, or any special needs your pet may have.
“Jessica. I’m grateful we’ve reconnected. Thank you for taking care of our crazy girl. Boarding just doesn’t work for her so this is the perfect solution and the added bonus of some cleaning which you didn’t need to do but….we are grateful for. Thank you thank you!!!”

John sat our puppy over the course of 3 days and was nothing short of incredible. He was extremely attentive to our puppies needs, and kept our house extremely clean, even making the bed before leaving. He sent updates every 3-4 hours with pictures and videos. If you want someone with expert care, great experience and a great house guest, pick John!

Brandon was great!! Would love to have him stay with out dogs again. He was super communicative, and sent picture updates. He even let Olive sleep in bed with him hahaha. We were nervous with Harvey since he’s a new addition, but he was great with Harvey off leash, and seemed to really enjoy him. Cannot suggest Brandon enough!

Shayna did great with my two malamutes (aka large fluffy stubborn toddlers 😂)! Came home to my house as clean as we left it plus some as they drop fur just standing still and there wasn't much on the floor at all which isn't normal after 3 days. Would definitely use her again!

Lea was amazing, she knew I was going to a concert and might not get back exactly on time. She arrived 10 minutes earlier than scheduled to help me out and stayed half an hour later due to traffic. She took great care of Maisie and followed all my instructions. Maisie was fast asleep when I got home in usual crate per the instructions. She did great!! You can definitely tell Lea is experienced and takes great care of the pets she sits.

Caroline was amazing! She communicated well before, during and after her sit. She sent a photo of our pets while we were away. The house looked exactly as we left it when we returned after our time away. And most importantly our two dogs and one cat seemed very happy when we got home.

Lee Ann was wonderful. She house sat for us, and took such lovely care of our animals and our home. We have an involved crew and she handled the needs and challenges that arose with understanding and grace. We highly recommend her, and would definitely use her services again.
This was our first time having someone board in our home with our pup, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, Klarysa did a fabulous job taking care of our dog and treated our home with incredible respect. We received frequent updates and plenty of photos, which completely eased our anxiety and allowed us to actually relax while we were away. It was so reassuring to see how happy and well cared for our pup was the entire time. We came home to a spotless house—honestly, it was in pristine condition. We’re so grateful for the care, communication, and professionalism, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend!

Sam was exactly what a pet sitter should be: attentive, reliable, and communicative. Our pups, Teddie & Stella, were clearly loved and well taken care of during our vacation. And major plus: so was our home. We will absolutely be utilizing Sam again and I know our pups will be thrilled when the time comes!

This was my first time booking someone with Rover. Matt was amazing. It was a last minute booking. Matt took the time to meet us a day before I went on vacation and was extremely professional. I asked if he could stay over my house so that my dog is more comfortable and he had no problem with that. I was nervous about leaving my dog with someone but Matt made it extremely comfortable for me. He sent updates and pictures every single day. I thought I would be stressing out on vacation but with how Matt handled everything, I didn’t even have to worry much. If I could rate this higher I would. Definitely booking with Matt again

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Nashua walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Nashua maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Nashua choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Nashua. On Rover:

- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
