About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 9 and truly can’t imagine life without them. I grew up with a black lab, Zida, and my family also has Riley, who is now 16 and has given me lots of experience caring for senior dogs and their changing needs. I adopted my own dog, Sarabi, as a puppy almost 6 years ago and spent a lot of time training her and helping her work through shyness, anxiety, and separation anxiety. She’s now my best buddy! I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels, from puppies and high-energy dogs to anxious dogs who need extra patience and seniors who need a little more care. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, crates, oral medications, special diets, walks, basic training routines, and lots of playtime and cuddles. The biggest thing for me is meeting each dog where they are. When I meet a new dog, I let them approach me on their terms and never force an interaction. Some dogs want to be best friends immediately, while others need time and space, and I’m completely comfortable with both. I want your dog to feel safe and comfortable with me while you’re away. I work from home three days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility to spend time with your dog throughout the day. For house sitting, I’m happy to work remotely from your home, so your dog can have company, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. I’m also available on weekends depending on my schedule. I know how important it is to feel comfortable with the person caring for your dog, and I’ll always follow your routines and instructions while in your home. I’m very attentive to each dog’s personality and boundaries and will never force interaction with a dog who needs time or space. Nathan looked after our two dogs, our cat, and our home for 6 days. He was great. Everyone was well cared for and the house was neat and clean when we got home. Nathan was excellent at communication and very professional at every step of the way. When he met the dogs he quickly established a playful rapport with them. He is clearly a dog person and they respond to him wonderfully. One of our dogs, is very reactive and can be a bit of a handful and Nathan was able to handle her without issue. I would most definitely book with Nathan again.
Brandon was great!! Would love to have him stay with out dogs again. He was super communicative, and sent picture updates. He even let Olive sleep in bed with him hahaha. We were nervous with Harvey since he’s a new addition, but he was great with Harvey off leash, and seemed to really enjoy him. He even came back to let our dogs out one last time when we got stuck with airline issues. I Was very thankful that we left our dogs with someone who treated them just as we would. Cannot suggest Brandon enough!
