Chewbacca has various specific needs, including oral medication and prescription diet, and he gets very nervous when first dropped off. We have never had such a strong sense of peace of mind with a dog sitter as we did this weekend. Karen was extremely communicative, updated us through text and pictures throughout the day, and always made sure to go the extra mile so Chewbacca felt safe and cared for. “Penny and I introduced the dogs to one another a couple of months in advance of our stay (since one of my dogs is very old) and immediately I knew it was going to be great. Her two dogs, Lily and Barry, are so friendly and sweet, and got along very well with my two. Penny took great care of them, especially my old lady Lucy, who had dog stairs and access to all the beds she could want. Despite no fewer than two Nor'easters during their stay, the dogs still got regular outdoor time in the yard and plenty of activity. The photo updates were a riot--so many Shih Tzus! I'm already planning to book another stay with Penny the next time we leave town.”

About: I always loved and had dogs. Until I had a small size dog I have realized that leaving them at home is very heartbreaking. I have a 12year old Maltese girl. I always looked for someone to take care of her when I was not available. Now, I want to be that person for your little precious ones. I can be their companion when you are not available. I can maintain the same standards you provide as much as I can. Little ones have access to my couch, bed, lap as long as they want or I have different types of beddings around my apartment if they feel like being alone. (My dog is very independent, sometimes she prefers sleeping alone.) They won't be alone for a long time. Maybe just a short period of time such as grocery visit, I have a camera at my home so I can monitor how they are doing. About: I have pet-sat multiple animals including many cats, rabbits, and dogs. I took care of these pets ranging from a few days to a month-long period of time. I cared for, washed, fed, and spent time with these animals as well as took care of their waste. As well as animal care, I have also house-sat during many of these experiences. “Cherie was amazing! This was my first time using Rover and for my new dog I had only had for two months, so I was uncertain about the whole process. Cherie was very responsive and easy to work with. My dog isn’t the easiest dog ever but Cherie managed her well. With the big fenced in backyard and other dog friends to play with, I wasn’t sure my dog waned to leave at the end!! Highly recommend. Almost forgot- we had a few travel hiccups coming back and Cherie was really understanding and we were able to book an extra night. Five stars!”
“Five stars is not enough! We left Chewbacca with Karen for a few days this week. Chewbacca has various specific needs, including oral medication and prescription diet, and he gets very nervous when first dropped off. We have never had such a strong sense of peace of mind with a dog sitter as we did this weekend. Karen was extremely communicative, updated us through text and pictures throughout the day, and always made sure to go the extra mile so Chewbacca felt safe and cared for. We will absolutely be calling her again!”

“Our long weekend away was the first time we've had to leave behind our 6-month-old mini doodle Sam. We were a bit nervous but Xiaofan set us at ease immediately. She provided the friendliest and safest home away from home we could ever wish for our pup. Xiaofan went above and beyond in every respect. Also, she is so very kind, and so generous with her time and energy, and she really got to know Sam! Our pup got lots of attention and exercise. And Xiaofan kept us updated with a steady stream of pictures and text messages. This was a perfect boarding experience and we'll definitely have Sam stay with Xiaofan and her lovely family again in the future. Recommended without reservation!”
